One of our favourite restaurants in town! Great location, good staff and very affordable prices! We either get the combo of 1/2 rack and shrimp or the baby back plate . Even the garlic toast is amazing, delicious ribs, fish and sides (you gotta try the bbq beans and the pies for dessert too). Their margaritas are cheap and delicious. We go there once a month usually and we never had a bad experience in 3 years! We had multiple servers and hosts and most of them were friendly and did a great job. read more

There is no brisket on the menu. I would say the food was on par with Golden Corral, I got canned beans and beef that reminded me of lunch meat from King Soopers. It wasn't bad I won't be coming here again though, too many good BBQ joints around the city to waste my palate on this. read more

Thinking about past reviews, I try to keep in mind the good, positive places I visit because I want to share that feeling, promote well-deserving places and maybe encourage other places that might be struggling, to look at what gets good reviews. Maybe my review will spark someone to add their own (good or...less good.) The ribs are super tender, great smoke, not fatty and really worth their price, in my opinion. The place is usually busy, which is a good sign. Staff is always very nice, attentive and makes frequent checks on the table. This is one of my favorites because my kids have sensitivity to loudness. It makes their dinner time stressful. The ambiance at Rib City is fairly quiet compared to other places, with a gentle conversational bustle. No game or trivia nights, no obnoxious groups. Very respectable place. In the wake of many restaurants tossing polite customer service out the window, reducing portion size and raising prices, I don't feel Rib City is that place. I think they may have bumped up prices a couple of dollars since the world closed down, but portions haven't been sacrificed. I'm happy to give them our business. This place is pretty great for BBQ. Like a family-owned ranch selling you meats straight off the farm's smoker! The service was a little taken back by a green dude such as myself getting his grub on, but they were more than kind anyway. Though kept waiting for refills a little too long at times. But the food, gold almighty, was amazing. The meat was succulent and you chose the BBQ sauces you slather on yourself. For whatever amount you desire. I've only had take out, my wife takes the grandson there often as it's his favorite BBQ place. She says it's a great place to eat. All I know is their ribs are thick, meaty, tender, juicy and delicious, good hot or leftover. Slaw is perfect in my book, sliced fine in a perfect light vinegar/horseradish?/mayo sauce. And the sliced green beans, oh yeah, more of those please, very smokey and tender though I wish they'd get some (more?) bacon fat in their to make them perfect Southern style beans. I walked in and ordered the pulled pork dinner with Mac & cheese and apple sauce for takeout. After 15 minutes, I inquired about my order and they couldn't find it! The Mac & cheese was in the smallest container that is commercially available and was not very cheesy. The apple sauce was in a container that you might find at your local supermarket for 50 cents. The pulled pork was more of a paste. Not very appealing to look at and the texture was certainly not something I would expect from pulled pork. One would think that a place called Rib City specializing in BBQ would taste good. This would be an incorrect assumption. Plenty of parking and located in a sort of mini mall out by itself and two other businesses. I would return here to eat. So disappointed. We waited and waited for our food order tonight. Three young girls who didn't know what was going on and the only adult up front was sitting in a booth with her back towards the front door. We asked her if our order was ready and she said "sorry I wasn't paying attention" as our order sat and chilled on the hostess stand. Like WHY WOULD SHE SAY THAT???? We didn't get any bbq sauces that we had asked for, they said they didn't have any to go cups made, and our food was cold. The only thing that had any warmth was the aluminum foil wrapped baked potato and the green beans. The chicken tenders were terrible. Awful. McDonald's makes better chicken tenders in my opinion. This place used to be so good... but tonight it appeared that they fizzled out and no one cares anymore. Unfortunately the man sitting next to me who had waited 45 mins for his food, was told they didn't know he was there! I can safely say all of his food was cold. Our family probably won't be back. Great food. Decent BBQ. Came here on a weekend. We had to wait about 30minutes to get a table which is common on the weekend. Whatever you do, be sure to get their baby back ribs. You can tell it has that smokey flavor during their preparation. We got the fried okra as the appetizer. They come with a side of ranch. I would definitely dip it in the ranch as the okra has a very slime interior. I ordered the 2 meat plate which includes the baby back ribs and pulled pork. The portion was 1/2 back back ribs which had about 8-9 bones. Pretty good quantity. The platter came with 2 sides. I got the steam veggies and baked potato. The pulled pork was good as well. However, if I could, I would have gotten the full rack of ribs. So good. Definitely will come back here again. Prices reasonable. Friendly staff. Must try if you are in town. read more

Everything was outstanding (ribs, slaw and beans) and my friends all raved about their lunch orders. The ribs were tender and the bbq sauce was a nice compliment.
