Cold Wings and Poor Service My family and I tried Wing Snob for the first time today, spending $53 on what turned out to be cold, unappetizing wings. The meal wasn't freshly prepared, and we were really disappointed, especially after paying $15.99 for an 8-piece traditional meal deal. I mentioned this to the young man at the register, who was polite, but the guy in the back seemed totally uninterested. He saw me talking, half-listened to the complaint, then just shrugged and continued making wings the same careless way. We won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First time trying the place and it was pretty good. I do wish you can mix and match the wings in a smaller quantity for boneless and traditional though. We ordered about 4:30 on a Saturday and they were ready when we got there. The boneless are basically tenders cut up but super good. I liked the traditional may do extra crispy next time but wanted to try them first. We got the buffalo parm which I like my husband thinks the parm took over. Never heard of this place before. It's awesome! Their wings are, In fact, just better! There were three of us so we tried several different fry flavors and different wing flavors. The bone in wings were pretty normal size but the boneless wings were bigger and meatier than any other wing place that I can think of. They let us try several samples of sauce which were all great! The lemon pepper was my favorite but it is a little more tangy than I would have expected. It grew on me and I loved it. read more

I have visited this establishment several times now and each time the service is friendly and efficient. For someone, like me, who is always on the run this goes a long way. The food is always consistent in flavor. The fries are pushed to another level with the batter they are fried and the ambiance is always satisfactory. We were visiting friends in Rockwall, TX and thought we'd give a new wing spot a chance. The name indicated that they were wing connoisseurs; but the food indicated more of a wing enthusiast or novice. We ordered the Lemon Pepper, Buffalo Lemon Pepper, and Jamaican Jerk. The Lemon Pepper was DRY and uneventful -- if you must order it, I would recommend getting a side of the Lemon Pepper sauce. They were also fried way too hard. The Buffalo Lemon Pepper were good. The Jamaican Jerk tasted like ketchup and was not spicy at all. We ordered a side of blue cheese but only got ranch which was unfortunate. However, the spicy ranch which we did order was unique and flavorful. The service was great; the cashier/server was very kind and efficient. We did a pick up order which was ready WAY quicker than the website indicated so the fries were cold, but the salt and pepper flavor was great. Inside was clean and chill. I showed up at 6:55 and there was a mob of people in the lobby. I made my way to the counter and asked for my order. I was told it would be ready in 20 more minutes. No biggie I waited for 30 minutes in the truck. I went back and nada. I was told mine would be the next one out. Long story short it took another hour. I've ordered 3 or 5 times in the app and even though it asks what time you want it (in 15 minute increments) I've never had my food ready for the time I asked for. My husband and I decided to try Wing Snob tonight while we were kid free. as soon as we walked into the establishment we were greeted by a friendly associate. While I was skimming their menu the friendly cashier asked what type of flavor I was looking for. I told her the kind of spicy that makes your nose run but still has a good flavor. She quickly recommended "Hot AF" and offered a sample of the sauce. I took her recommendation and did half of the "Hot AF" and half "Jamaican Jerk". They have lots of cool customizations you can make to your french fries, but I got plain - and they were delicious by the way- crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. I asked for crispy wings, and they delivered. And I must say that the "Hot AF" chased down with the "Jamaican Jerk" was pure perfection. Very, very sad to say our family won't be returning to Wing Snob. Since opening, it was ALWAYS our go-to place for yummy food! First, the customer service started going downhill; the employees seemed like they were annoyed you were there. We didn't care. We kept going back for the food, not to make friends . Fast forward a bunch of rude visits to two weeks ago. We go to wing snob and as soon as we walk in, before even getting to the counter to order we are told (rudely yet again) that "there's about a 35 minute wait for orders." Seems like we would learn our lesson (but we've always loved their food.) We give it ANOTHER try. We go to wing snob today. As soon as we walk in, there is a bad odor. I look at my husband, son, and daughter-in-law and point out the smell. They just kind of shrugged their shoulders and we decided to order anyway. We get to the counter, and we see through the window to the kitchen, employees just look at us a few times, yet no one acknowledges us at all, not even a smile. We wait. And wait. And a few more glances from the kitchen, we wait longer. Finally, someone emerges to take our order. No smiles, no thank you. We receive our food and it was not good! The skin of the boneless wings is so tough it was hard to chew. I mentioned it to my party and my son pointed out that it isn't just the boneless, the skin of his traditional wings is tough as well. The ranch dressing had the consistency of water. I truly am so disappointed. The rude service, we've always overlooked, but not anymore. It would be different if it wasn't great food but the employees' attitudes and behavior make up for it. It's like I wonder why the doors to the place are even unlocked.
