The beef melted away and had just enough crunch to satisfy, and the plantain was firm and easy to eat. The produce is consistently clean, healthy, raised responsibly and organized neatly. They have a variety of crops and are terrific about educating people about new vegetables. They sell lots of "weeds" that are actually wonderful additions to any pantry, and staff members are pleasant and knowledgeable about how to cook everything and what it tastes like. Much of the leftover produce is donated to the food shelf and other community organizations, and they are conscientious about composting, reusing materials and containers, and avoiding one-use items.
