Been coming to Roxanne's for years, and I still love it. Today I went in to get a bowl and told myself I would take a picture for this review, but as soon as I sat down to eat I devoured it instantly. You cant go wrong with a rice bowl with carnitas. All of their toppings are amazing and flavorful! Don't miss their sriracha-mayo sauce, it's a must. Trust me! The staff is pleasant and they even have a youtube page where they record funny videos. Im writing this review not just to let the public know that Roxanne's is great, but there is now a chipotle down the street in the same plaza. I want to ask everyone to support Roxanne's, a local business that is much better than the chain in every way. Solid burritos and easily customizable which is really nice when you're eating with someone who also loves burritos, but with completely different fillings. My husband absolutely loved his burrito, which is why I'm giving a 4 star. It had too much rice for me but that's exactly how he likes it. I think I went overboard with what I tried to put inside my burrito so everything was there, I just felt it was overpowered by the rice and I like my burritos bean and veg forward. The guac on the side seemed enormous and they have good chips. Next time I think I'd do things like salsa and queso on the side too instead of in the burrito because the flavors got lost there. Quick, easy to order for takeout and pickup, no issues there. Overall happy customers and I definitely want to try this spot again. read more

I've been working in the area and dropped in after going to Ace Hardware. Great energy from the server and point of sale. Engaging, polite, and food looked great. Today was my 4th visit and it is consistently great every time. No change in personality or communication. I always get a bowl and everything is fresh and well seasoned. I get a burrito here on a regular basis. The ingredi are always fresh, service is friendly and i never wait. This is my go-to for Mexican.

Solid Mexican food around the Stoughton/Canton area. burrito and bowls are both $12 each. For the size of the burrito I feel like the price is appropriate. I paid the same at Thyme for a shawarma and got about half the portion. Taste wise it is a little bland If you are comparing it to Chipotle. Luckily for me had some tobasco at home so it does the job. Plenty of parking in the area so it is easy to get in and out. We were driving by the area and wanted some Mexican food. Saw that this location being 3 minutes away so we stopped in. Great spot with plenty of parking. Really nice owner and crew who works hard. Place was clean and organized. The carne asada tacos and carnitas bowl were delicious! Good portions so not sure what happened to other reviews saying they were skimpy. I especially love the homemade habanero hot sauce the boss makes! They sell them in bottles for you to take home so I happily bought one! Will be back. read more

I really WANT to like Roxanne's. It's independent, which in itself is worthy of support. But the freshness and quality of its food is slipping, and unless the volume of business picks up, and they can maintain a fresher inventory, I fear it's in a bad spiral. Their proteins (chicken, steak) are almost always dried out and cold (not a great sign). The employees are different every time I go there, as are the prices. On a recent trip (mid July) the prices were not even on their "board"! Beans and rice are, well, beans and rice. Their salsas are good. But wilted lettuce, dried out cilantro and mushy pico just don't "cut it". Sadly, this place has become depressing--and Taquerias should be at least a little lively? read more

Today I felt really disappointed to witness employees inside getting orders ready with no social distancing and worse than that, having conversations without masks while they prepare the orders. I asked the employee why they are offering curbside pick up but does not follow the state's safety precautions to keep their costumers safe. He answer that they have a medical reason. I wander if the whole entire team have a medical condition, if they do they should not being doing this job. If you care about your healthy and the other in this community do not order from Roxanne's taqueria. Instead of guacamole you might end up with covid-19 in your meal. read more

I used to hit this place all the time years ago!! in the past 2 months ive ordered 3 times and each time has been unfulfilling. The first time paid online the bowls came with no chicken. not sure what happened there. they told me I could come back and get it.. I asked for a refund/credit but they said they couldn't. The chips were stale, the chicken was dry, and we paid close to 44 dollars for two burrito bowls with extra chicken and guacamole.I am home for the holidays from California and was looking forward to this meal. I am totally sympathetic to the fact that people are going to work putting themselves out there and I'm trying to support local food places. I just ordered from Roxanne's Taqueria, which I go to frequently and have never had a problem but today the entire order was wrong except for 1 thing. I ordered 2 cheese quesadillas and neither one had cheese - it was completely empty. The pork quesadilla looked like someone vomited into a soft burrito shell. All 6 tacos had barely anything in them and didn't have what I asked in them. But what I'm more upset at is the way I was treated when I called. I was told by an employee that I was selfish to want my order right, because there's only 2 people working. Then she didn't want to take my phone number for a manager to call me back. When the owner Josh called me back, before I got to tell him how bad the order was, he stopped me to tell me he didn't appreciate that I said the order was absolutely disgusting and that I yelled at his employees. I absolutely did not yell at them and the order was disgusting as you can see in the pictures that I offered to send him but he declined. He over-talked me the entire time I was talking telling me there are only 2 people working and I shouldn't expect my order to be right because they are swamped on Cinco de Mayo. I get that, but that's not my fault after paying almost $80 for food. When I asked how you can make 2 cheese quesadillas with no cheese he said obviously it's a mistake. Then he said I don't want to deal with you, I'll refund your money and hung up. I usually don't post things about specific restaurants, and I wouldn't have if they had just made it right. That's no way to treat a customer after they messed up. The virus does not give employees and owners the right to be rude to customers. Needless to say they're off my list of places to support - we have been ordering take out at least 5 times a week for lunch or dinner to support local businesses. read more

First let me say, I appreciate them being open and servicing customers during COVID... However, last week, I ordered and waited outside the shop and it was the worst $22 I've ever spent! ($18 for the burrito and $4 tip) I ordered a burrito w extra meat chicken and carnitas) rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole What I got was a COLD burrito that barely had any filling. The carnitas and chicken filling were cold and had no flavor. I've had tacos from here before that were pretty good but I was really disappointed to spend that much money on an "empty" cold, tasteless burrito. Did their management change? Me and my friend wanted burritos. We usually go to chipotle, but we wanted to try something new. I have never been here before and didn't know what to expect. We walk in and it is a small quaint place. Roxanne's is a very clean place and it is pretty modern, the restaurant has Twitter Instagram and facebook. Menu is written on chalk boards which give it a rustic feel. All of the meats are cooked fresh right behind the counter. I get steaks on my burritos and I was watching the chef cook up a fresh batch of steak. I like how this place puts quality in their food and at a lower price. I ordered curbside pickup the other day, during the corona virus crisis. What a bad idea. The burrito I ordered was cold , like it was sitting there for an hour or so, and it had the wrong fillings. That and a side of guacamole cost me $19.00 total. I'm still trying to figure out why. I haven't been here in a few years. I've never tried the tacos here before but I have come for the burritos. Overall, I think their burritos are very good and could possibly give a place like Anna's a run for her money. I usually get the carne asada burrito, which has tender and flavorful steak. The ingredients tasted fresh, including the rather chunky guacamole. The burrito is wrapped nicely and there's no excess liquid. What prevents me from giving Roxanne's a higher grade is its service. The last time I visited, I ordered my food and was asked by a lady whether I wanted to dine-in or take-out. I clearly stated I wanted take-out. After the food was made up, It was put in a plastic basket. I told her that I stated I wanted take-out. She sarcastically responded, "Oh, so you changed your mind?" I replied in the negative but didn't speak any further. I haven't really been inclined to come back since. It's a bit out-of-my-way, so there's even less incentive.
