Really delicious sandwiches with specials that they post on Facebook. Good quality meat and ingredients. They have lots of yummy baked goods around the counter to tempt you (brownies, apple cider donuts). And each time I've gone for pick up the food has been ready for me when I've asked. I have never sat in to eat my food but they have a fair amount of space and it's got a cute somewhat 50's nostalgia vibe. Solid sandwich shop. read more

That's it! I think it's me because they say if you do the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome you're crazy. I've tried this place several times since my company moved here. I've seen the things they do to an egg so I stopped ordering breakfast. Lunch items tend to be burned over overcooked. I did however have a Cuban there that was really good. I've avoided the place for a while but then, in a moment of weakness, I thought I'd get their Cuban again. Got back to the office to find it was a turkey gobbler thing -gross. $13 in the trash. Between having to order 3 hours before you want to pick it up and you still have to wait up to 20 mins past your pickup time for it to bland food, place is not worth it. Inside looks nice and has a salad bar as well as premade sandwiches. Unfortunately, that's the only food you can get conveniently without having to wait too long. read more

First time here. In town for business. Unique these days, at least in CT where I eat most meals, they had a salad bar. It was a small but well stocked bar with several lettuces and types of protein such as grilled chicken, hard boiled eggs, seafood salad and then all the typical veggies. You bring your container to the front register to have it weighed and to smartly collect a closed portion of your chosen salad dressing. The menu has many sandwiches, it's hot and cold, as well as a small selection of desserts. There are a few coolers with a good variety of drinks, as well. I'd definitely go back when in town again. The only thing I would suggest is that the lady at the register be a bit more friendly to "strangers". I put it this way because she was very smiley and jovial when interacting with obvious regulars. read more

Food is good but their organization is not good at all. You place an order and then get your food and wait in line to pay just for them to call out someone else's name because their food is ready and then they skip the line to pay. This has happened to me almost every time I've gone there. I've had multiple people skip me in line to pay when my food was ready first but because their name was called out loud that means they pay immediately? It's just not right. I wish they would become more organized with lines. It makes me not want to go back anymore since it happens every time. read more

Waste of my time and $8. Got a breakfast sandwich, they microwaved the bacon. Then got an iced coffee, which was a cup of ice with a splash of pre bottled STOK coffee and was charged $4 for this (online it says coffee is $1.99) . An entire 48fl oz at the store is $4. Total rip off. read more

Good first....food is delicious and a great variety of sandwiches. The bad....staff wear their gloves for every task without changing them! Not really sure what happened today, but I usually visit the deli "up the street" BUT today I felt like trying a new place......not a great experience. I ordered online and when I got there to pick it up the woman and man behind the counter were in a little tiff.....then she proceeds to tell me that my order isn't ready. Ok fine.... I get back to work...and my salad had rotten cucumbers and nasty wilted lettuce....a waste...and now I'm here a back at work, lunch break over....annnnd nothing =( I'll stick to my regular deli next time. I don't give out 5 star reviews lightly, but A Cut Above Deli has earned 5 stars after having eaten there half a dozen times. I initially visited for their unique take on the Cuban sandwich, which included fresh chunks of pineapple for sweetness. I was a bit hesitant at first, because it seemed like an odd pairing, but I'm certainly glad I did. The pineapple adds a completely different element to an already incredible sandwich(Cubans are among my favorite sandwiches). Aside from the Cuban, A Cut Above Deli has a ton of other great deli sandwiches, and a rotating array of daily specials. Everyone that works here is quick to answer any questions, extremely personable, and this is the type of deli where the workers seem to know your order before you've even given it. It's been almost a year now since I started coming here and wanted to write an update. It still gets really busy during the lunch rush, so I do my best to eat lunch a little early or after 1:00. I'm guessing all these 5 star reviews are bringing in a lot of business! I stopped by Friday afternoon and was on a call with a coworker who talks forever. I don't like to go into a restaurant while on the phone, so I sat in my car and attempted to exit the conversation. Much to my surprise, one of the employees recognized my car and brought my order to me (I had already paid online). It was the single best customer service experience I've had anywhere in a long time. I've spoken to the owner, Bob, many times and he's a really great guy. Since Covid happened, I've been trying to support small family-owned businesses throughout this time and I really fell in love with the food here. The Pilgrim, Steak and Cheese, cole slaw, egg salad, potato salad are all amazing. I always call ahead to order and my food is done by the time I get to the counter. I work in Canton and so far its my go too place, for a few reasons. 1. They are the ONLY place that delivers to our office. We're on the Milton line and legit NO ONE will come here! 2. Quick service and online ordering! 3. I've had the chicken parm on a braided roll twice and a chicken salad wrap. Both were great and fresh! Tried the tortellini pesto salad, it was ok maybe sat out a bit too long and last had the clam chowda. I'm picky about my CHOWDA and if its too watery i wont eat it. This was DELISH. just the right thickness! Now the only downfall, min delivery order was $20.00 before tax. I had to order a sub, 2 drinks, two pastas, and soup just to make the order deliverable. Now before you say "why didnt you just get off your lazy ass and pick it up" i had already taken my "break" from work and didnt have anymore time to go get it :( So thats my only real down fall. I wish I could leave no stars, I hate to leave a bad review in a small business. But the Cuban I had here was truly horrible, it's a non-traditional Cuban which was unexpected but I would have been ok with if executed properly. First of all it was expensive, three regular sandwiches and a small fry for 40 bucks? The pork was literally like a thick pork chop, and it was old, to the point where i took one bite and it tasted bad, I smelled it and it smelt past. Let's not even discuss why pineapples and honey mustard were on there. The whole experience was a hard pass for me, go to subway up the street and save yourself some money and food poisoning from the rotten food this place serves. read more

Convenient location and simple salad bar, soup (add leftover from night before). Older lady at the counter today was rude and rolled her eyes when people called to ask questions. I asked for a spoon for the soup that I had purchased and bagged myself. She said, "wait a minute" and then turned to the next person in line. I had to ask someone else for a spoon. Looks like I picked the wrong thing to get from the reviews. My search for the best Tuna Sub brought me here. The tuna was very dry and did not taste very fresh. The sub roll was standard also not the freshest with a bit of a crunch on the outside. They packed the lettuce in the bottom with a few tomatoes and small bits of onions - so you could bite the lettuce part or the dried up tuna part - most bites had one or the other. And a small is almost $7. I can't vouch for other fare but this lunch was very disappointing. read more

I visit this deli a couple of times/month and always eat in. I have no complaints about the food itself; the deli meat is fabulous, the bread is fresh, they even offer both Coke and Pepsi products. However, I find I am continually frustrated with the ordering and service there. The customers place their orders by shouting over a tall refrigerated cabinet. Many times I've been there, the person taking my order either can't hear me over the music and the cabinet or just doesn't remember what I asked for, then my sandwich comes out wrong and I am unhappy. I understand that they are busy but they don't give off a vibe of caring about how they are doing. Once you place your order and they almost shove your sandwich in your direction, you cease to exist to them. I go for the food but I don't appreciate the treatment in there. read more

We used them for catering an event, and it was less than impressive. The sandwiches we ordered were good, and fresh. However they also brought a pasta salad and a potato salad.. both were made with mayo. If you are bringing two sides, one would think you would make each with two different condiments for variety, not the same. So we had two mayo sides which was very unappealling to my guests. Neither side was eaten, unfortunately. They were extremely late with our order for the event. Which is a horrible first impression, and made me stressed and nervous. They may be a good place to stop in and grab lunch, but they are not worth using for catering services. Never again. First impressions mean a lot..and this was a bad one. read more

Outstanding! Our new destination for lunch. FRESH cold cuts and vegetables. My co-workers raved about the chowder and I enjoyed the chili. I like having an option of breads on both the warm and cold sandwiches and also enjoyed the bow-tie pasta salad. The in-house salad bar is fresh and they have coke in a glass bottle and diet Dr. Pepper... SCORE! All of the specials sound good, I just wish there was a way to know them before calling in.
