My wife and I have been to this location a few times, but the last 2 visits did not go well. A few weeks ago we sat at the bar and my wife was served a martini in a glass with very noticeable lipstick prints on it. The bartender apologized and gave her a clean glass (which was also not-so-clean!). Also the bar itself was wet and sticky; we had to ask to have someone wipe it. We figured maybe just a bad day so we decided to give it another try yesterday. We sat at the bar again, ordered drinks and I headed to the men's room. Let me say, I've been a Licensed Plumber for 40 years and I've seen some disgusting restaurant men's rooms, but this one was in the top three! Both urinals were out of order and covered, so I entered the stall. I had to stand in a puddle of urine to urinate in a toilet that was so badly splattered with urine and feces that it was all over the wall behind it! I washed up while standing on used paper towels that had fallen from the overfilled trash barrel. Needless to say, I returned to the bar, told my wife we were leaving, and quietly told the bartender that she may want to tell the manager that the men's room is DISGUSTING and to give us the check. While finishing our drinks, we watched the sour-faced manager enter the men's room with just a can of disinfectant spray. I joked to my wife "He's gonna need more than that, and no gloves?? He emerged less than a minute later and stood in front of the kitchen like he had nothing to do. I can't imagine what he could have done to clean that disgusting mess in such a short time!!! .......and wash his hands?? If this was a gas station, I would have been shocked. But it is a RESTAURANT! Like most people, I see a filthy bathroom and I think "I wonder how clean the kitchen is? We won't be back. read more

Ok, I have been to this WingHouse Several times in the past however, I have not been here for over a year. The service has definitely gone down hill, maybe its because we arrive around 5:30 pm on a Tuesday, but I expected it to be a little better since is was happy hour. It sure was in the past considering I have eaten here at least everyday of the week in the past and received Great Service and beautiful smiles in the past. This was my first time visiting in two years. My wings were delicious! But the service has gone downhill. My server seemed slightly absent minded and distracted. It was like she wasn't comprehending what we were saying at times. The uniforms are now comparable to a thong unitard. When one of the servers leaned over, their underwear & area was hanging outside of their shorts. As the male in my party was finished with his food our server was pushing the check not even considering that others were still eating. It is best explained as a Hooters is disguise. In fact, if you didn't see the sign you would swear it was a Hooters. They dress the same, the menu looks the same, even the decor is similar. The food is pretty good. We tried a chicken sandwich and a chicken salad. The sauce and chicken worked well and would definitely try again. The service was good. read more

I like this Winghouse location and lunch here every couple of weeks with my daughter. The pub-style food is excellent quality and served promptly. The signature wings are available in several styles and sauces that are consistently top notch. Burgers and other sandwiches and wraps are also quite good. There is a pretty good selection of draught beers too. The wait staff is mostly chatty as well as proficient, and prices are in line with other sports bars & pub. While the cheerleader motif of the waitress uniforms is reminiscent of Hooters, we find both the food and service to be superior at Winghouse. Ladies are made very welcome here and it speaks well of the management and staff that unescorted women are regular customers and obviously feel comfortable in what might appear to be a heavily male-oriented pub. I have a food allergy and the waitresses were very accommodating and had the chef come out and speak to me directly to make sure that the food they prepared would not cause a reaction. Been to a number of Winghouse locations in Florida. This is one of the older locations (I think) but the cold beer and friendly staff are what attract the locals to this location. It's a bit far from the interstate so it's more of a destination place. The bar stools have backs on them (which is not a given at all their locations) which is a plus if you're sitting at the bar for any length of time. Great place to watch your favorite sporting event as well. read more

I just left this establishment. We were greeted buy a very nice girl at the front door. We sat down and another girl came to our table to get our order , we ordered our food in about 5 minutes later a very nice man who introduced himself as the manager came to our table to greet us. The manager seemed very ill and pale he gagged and apologised and ran to the bathroom. We got up and left. She even told me about their lunch/meal punch card that rewards customers for ever meal they have there, witch results in, you've got it, free food. This is a more modern Hooters. With black outfits and scampi shorts these girls are well trained, service is fast and pleasant. The place looks modern with a similar decor to their rival, but cleaner looking somehow. This place is still a guys bar with good looking women they haven't tried to" family friendly" the establishment too much, as their rivals did. Hey maybe that's why Hooters of Ocala went out of business. There are just some places single or married guys like to go once in a while to get a beer, have some great wings and look at some attractive women, without too many kids in the place. I changed wallets today and found courtesy cards for "Buy 5 wings get 5 wings free" given to us from previous bad experiences well over a year ago. Since we needed to go out we decided to give it another try. We ordered an appetizer and 2 of the same came to our table. This was addressed with our waitress and she corrected the mistake and removed the additional item from our bill. Upon placing our dinner order my wife presented the card for the "5 free wings" and was promptly informed that it would not be honored. I stated that they had no expiration date so the waitress said she would take it to her manager. I asked if the manager refused to honor the offer that I would like to speak with her. The manager came to our table and stated that the location was purchased and the new ownership would not honor the offer. She stated that it was no longer the same restaurant. I pointed out that the name on the card and the name on the menu were the same. She made a statement "that if she honored these and sent them in she would be fired". We paid for our drinks and appetizer and promptly left. Seems like the same restaurant with the same issues that we have not entered in over a year and most likely will not again. It is Friday; May 19th 2017. (Graduation Night: Class of 2017) I completely understand, that the noise level is up & was really loud, and to them, that this is normal. But, what I don't understand, having my waitress to come over to ask me the same question to me but for her that I were to ask. My order was, Hot Boneless Wings With Curly Fries & Ranch. My waitress told me, if I wanted Ranch. I did say yes, but none was given told me. I was celebrating one of my family member's graduation, so we told our waitress to do a celebration; nothing happened, even when we repeat and told her on & on, even when she said she would. The person who I was celebrating with 2 other family members enjoy his food of his opinion. The Burger was pretty good, (Requested: Med-Rare) Temperature, Correct! But. The chips tasty like ordinary original ruffles potatoes chips. Nothing special about that. I couldn't say much about the shrimp, due to the fact, I didn't get it. But, to my family member's expression, the shrimp wasn't really the best. read more

The Ocala Winghouse catered our Christmas get together this year and I don't believe anyone could have been more attentive and caring as they were. They went out of their way for us in order to have exactly what we needed and actually went above and beyond. I can't say enough about the management as well as the wings that were fantastic! We ate here for lunch & usually these types of restaurants aren't know for exceptional service. Our food came out right on time & was very good. Our waitress, Gail, was one of the best waitresses we've had in years. She checked on us mutiple times and always made sure our drinks were full.
