The wings were pretty good and the fish is good as well. Definitely be coming back again.

Food was excellent. It was good for the first match. Service was good as well. I would definitely be coming back again. It was very clean inside and customer service was good. I think it's a family owned business, which is nice.

Lemon Pepper & Mango Habanero wings. Just the right amount of kick. Crispy on the outside and super juicy inside.

Surprise find. Place is clean, even the bathroom LOL but the star of the show are the wings which I find to be super moist and perfectly seasoned (Lemon Pepper FTW). Everything is cooked to order so it does take a good 10 minutes or so. I'll call and order ahead next time. While waiting I met the owner and he said he had just bought the place from the previous proprietor last month. He takes pride in that the meats are always fresh and never frozen. I had taken my order to go today and the wings and the Philly were super moist and tasty back home. Will come back again soon.

Let's start with I ordered 10wings with fried rice only got 7 wings and charged me for 10 service is ok but I even gave a tip ambience is good im not coming back and price little high

Crispy Honey Cajun: 5/5 - nice crispy outside but still juicy on the inside - honey was sweet and Cajun wasn't very spicy Crispy Wet Lemon Pepper: 3/5 -not crispy would def order as dry rub next time Crinkle Cut Fries: 4/5 -needed more seasoning but they were cooked to a perfect texture The service was excellent, food was ready in 15 minutes! The restaurant is in a nice shopping plaza with convenient parking. The ambiance is exactly what I would expect from a place with good wings. I would definitely recommend this place. I will be back to try more flavors & the rice!

This place smelled like a sulfur leak the moment I took a step into this establishment. This is the equivalent to eating wings in a gas station. There is a 50% chance that my wings contained the limbs of roaches. Very unsettling. The ranch had a sour taste, probably spoiled or smothered with diabetic pee. It was definitely a cute attempt at trying to be the next wing stop, but a failed attempt. Save yourself. Also didn't appreciate the dudes attitude, stop staring dawg.

I was craving wings for dinner and this was a great spot to try. I went through the reviews thoroughly because i'm very picky about my wings. I ordered a 10pc bone in combo with fried rice & a drink. I finished all my food in one sitting and that's rare for me. Jamaican Jerk & Honey Garlic we're the flavors i picked. They were both pretty good. The only complaint i have is that the wings needed more sauce/rub on them. They were fried to crispy perfection. The fried rice was very okay, it would be nice if they develop some special sauce to go on the rice. I put some of the honey garlic on my rice and it took it from a 7 to a 10! Would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the irving area. Will be coming back!

I ran across this via Yelp and was intrigued. Fried rice and wings? I love both!!! I can't believe nobody thought of this before! So I set off during lunch yesterday to find this gem and to put it short, it was great! First, the location is unobtrusive. It's in a strip mall in a little slot but it's easy enough to find. Once in, they do have a table for dine-in, so that cool (life slowly getting back to normal) and the lady at the counter was nice and friendly. Fairly large selection of flavors for their wings, but I chose the garlic and lemon pepper wet with vegetable fried rice. And it was awesome! Good fried rice, heavy brown with plenty of soy sauce. Wings are on point and slightly crunch skin and good flavor underneath. I'll be back next week to try and more flavors and some more if that delicious rice!!!

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I went back to the airport a little tipsy after 2 drinks.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

Upon arrival, we were quickly greeted by the hostess and seated without a wait. Within no time, the server arrived with water and gave us time to look over the menu. It is a relatively large menu with lots of options so I appreciated the extra time. For my entree, I decided to go with the Grilled Blackened Catfish which came with a bed of dirty rice and a salad. While waiting for our food, the server brought out a basket of bread rolls which were very tasty. After a relatively short wait, our food was delivered. While the catfish was not as blackened as I prefer, it was flavorful. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak and he thoroughly enjoyed it. That entree comes with 3 sides and give the size of the chicken fried steak, it makes for a lot of food. When it comes to service, everyone was friendly and welcoming which I aalways appreciated. The space is fairly large and seating consists of table/chair combos along with several booths. Additionally, there is a bar area in the back of the restaurant with seating. Based on what I could see, the bar appeared to be fully stocked. There are also a few TVs in the bar area. Overall, I was pleased with my first visit here and will definitely return to try other things on the menu.

It has been on my list to try for a while, so we finally stopped in on a lazy Sunday. It was not crowded at all. We ordered the chicken po boy to split, along with fries and a side salad (for my healthy hubby - but maybe the blue cheese dressing negates the healthy??). The sandwich was HUGE (as my husband likes to say "quantity is a quality all on its own"). I was very glad we spilt it. That said, I could easily be convinced the chicken was a frozen patty, since there was nothing particularly special about it. The fries looked so promising and homemade with that brown patina (think Five Guys), which had me excited, but they ended up flabby and not very hot, insert sad face. All in all, it is another DFW spot I am glad I tried once, but I do not feel the need to go back.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.
