S&J's Hot Chick at 2201 W Northwest Hwy #120, Dallas, TX 75220 Ask for the J's special "A bed of french fries, nicely seasoned, sliced up chicken with macaroni cheese on top and two types of sauce" Now the hot chicken itself had a weird texture on the chicken strips and was not too hot to be the second one from the top. I do wish I had ordered some Parmesan fries also but this will get me there one more time. There's room to sit down and eat in this place. I'm really not sure how late they're open on like a Friday or Saturday. But since this is in the local Club area if they stay open late and people figure out this place is there they're going to have a Cult following pretty soon. This is at a gas station on the right side. The parking lot is big enough for about 30 something cars but parking in front of the building is very limited.

This place got recommended by a friend so I tried it out for lunch. Placed an online order and picked up within a very reasonable time. The location is by a gas station but not that hard to find. The food was definitely alright and nothing to rave about in my opinion. I got the medium spice sandwich but it didn't pack as much heat as I wanted compared to other places I've had. The pickles they have over there are house made and were good. More on the sweet side. Banana pudding was just not worth the price. It was so much smaller for how much I paid and too sweet for my liking :( I wouldn't go out of my way to grab food here. My friends enjoyed the J's special a lot but personally the chicken sandwich is a pass.

We got in to town late and ordered for pick-up from S & J's since it was by our hotel and opened later than most places. It wasn't as good as what the reviews were saying. The chicken strips were a good size, but there was no flavor, as was the piece of Texas toast. The spicy was just hot with no other flavor. We ordered a milkshake for my son, but they ran out of milk.

First time here after wanting to try for so long. When I entered I noticed how clean it was. I loved that! I ordered and my food was ready shortly after. My fries were absolutely perfect. They were crisp to perfection on the outside but soft on the inside. I got the mild choice for my chicken and it was so delicious and moist. The sauce added to the overall flavor. I was extremely satisfied. The fried pickles were great. The perfect crunch. My husband ate his burger so quick, I am sure he loved it as well!! I'm so glad I finally got a chance to try their food, def coming again when I visit. Food is amazing! Employees are courteous and very helpful.

Good food this is the s&js special comes with macaroni, chicken, and fries. I got mild with Cajun chicken

Typically, I rate based on several visits to get an overall picture of the place, but I will bypass the rule if the experience was exceptional (#1). Mike's was downright excellent. I ate the food warm and I ate it cold, and I'm still thinking about it. I tried to save some time by ordering online and also bypass any potential lines. Thankfully, there were none when I arrived, but a very full house of happy eaters despite being well past primetime lunch hours. The staff was friendly in the front but fielding many orders at the same time. I missed the literal pick up window outside, but was happy to get a gander of what it looks like inside. There's plenty of seating for groups and the place seemed a lot cleaner than the divey narratives folks emphasized. Prices were not astronomical, as I paid $14 and $13 for an order of 4 tenders + 2 sides, as well as 2 wings and 2 sides. The tenders were nothing like a Raising Cane's with skimpy portions and high price tags, instead it was plump, crispy, and perfectly fried. The accompanying sauces (Mike's sauce + buffalo sauce) were excellent additions and complimented the crispy fries. I was extremely impressed with the mac & cheese and very flavorful, mashed potatoes and gravy. The wings were no different: soft exterior with a nice crunch, meaty chunks off the bone, and wasn't too greasy. While the green beans weren't the most memorable side, the creamy corn was strangely addicting. Next time, I'm ordering the sides separately and in a large. I can only hope the other locations are just as good and will make good effort to visit them all. It's a rare occasion to be this infatuated with a place, but I'm confident it will be the first on my return list when I'm back in Dallas again. ___________ (#1) Or exceptionally bad.

Bro, plumbing is confusing). Naturally, I had to ask AI where to get the absolute best fried chicken in Dallas, and it sent me here. Ordering online was super easy, though I wished the menu had pictures because I like to see what I'm getting. Exactly 20 minutes later, I got the text that it was ready. The parking lot is tiny. If you drive a big truck, be prepared to maneuver like a pro if it's packed. Inside was busy, but there was zero heavy grease smell lingering in the air. You could easily grab lunch here and go about your day without smelling like a literal fryer. Plus, the crowd was surprisingly chill. Nobody gave off that chaotic, sketch energy you get at a KFC or Wingstop where you feel like you have to lock your truck doors three times just to walk inside safely. It's a really calm environment, which is awesome if you hate loud crowds. Pickup took less than 5 minutes. After a 15-minute drive home, the chicken was still loud-crunchy and insanely crispy. Puts fast-food chains to absolute shame. Fair warning: my first drumstick was a massive sodium bomb that almost made me rage quit and leave a two star review. But I was so hungry, so a quick drink later, piece number two and on were absolute perfection: juicy, meaty, and flawlessly seasoned. So that first piece of chicken just was coated in not-fully-mixed-well seasoning batter or something like that. I am officially obsessed. Come September when bulking season hits, I'm literally going to live here.

I also ordered the seasonal Dr Pepper blackberry shake, and I am so glad I did not miss out. Tremendous flavor. Everyone needs to try this shake flavor. I had tried Whataburger at the airport one time and was not impressed. So I'm glad I made the trip into an actual restaurant. They have a drive-through as well.
