    Meatball Sandwiches

Old school checkered tables and italian colors. Nice interior. Clean Restaurant. The man was Very polite taking our order! :) Hopefully next time they will have the hot dogs , i was craving a chicago style hot dog and dallas doesn't seem to offer many hot dog options/ restaurants. I opted for a Meatball Sub instead!! AND IT WAS Spectacular. Probably one of the best meatball subs ive ever had. I was not hungover or drunk so trust my taste buds yall!!! It had some grilled onions in it too. Very good Very Good! Great Cheese! Yum. Amazing Bread, great bite. Filling sandwhich. 10/10 Thank you for a simple delicious sub pal. The Pizza was good! Definitely not a new york style pizza! Still very good. Not Overdone. Great bite , good crisp and chewy crust. Cheese and sauce ratio was balanced BUT one thing i MUST say! It was a a little salty maybe the cheese? Pizza Rating 8/10‼ But i will definitely give a 5 star for that attentiveness to the customer/ me and my gf. We appreciate it so much. You made us feel more than just consumers/customers and treated us like your neighbors. Thank you sir. The best service we received since we arrived in Dallas. Thank you Chicago Pizza & Pasta Shout out to Turkey! -Santangelo Balli Gonzales -Visiting from Houston-

Late night pizza craving in Dallas the last thing I expected was some top tier pizza. This pizza was hot fresh and tasty definitely a top 7.9. Not to mention this place was also halal with all meats being served halal. The service was on point I had to add another pizza to my order. We ordered for pick up but did see a lot of people dining in as well. I would recommend this place it's worth a try.

I'm honestly conflicted about the pizza I had. I ordered a Spicy Alfredo 6", the spice coming from the jalapenos. The positives - The mini pizza, even though it was small is really filling for one person, being deep dish style. The price cannot be beaten, to have pizza for less than $10. The toppings were flavorful, and I LOVE the crust, especially the burnt bits of cheese on the outside, which every great Chicago deep dish should have. The chicken was moist, tender and perfectly cooked. The negatives - The alfredo white sauce was almost completely dried up, so it wasn't as juicy a bite as it could have been. The bottom of the pizza was under cooked, and doughy. So much so that it was sticking to the bottom of the pizza box. I finished the meal with a slice of the tiramisu, which was great. I don't know if they make it in house - if they do, great! And if not, well, thanks for the delivery!

Ever had a day where your hind quarters were going to be glued to your work chair for a day plus a few more hours? THANK YOU Chicago Pizza and Pasta (and Foodsby delivery service) for saving me!! I placed the order at 7am ish for a deep dish and cannoli. I planned on eating off of it all day, and as those who eat a lot of deep dish know, it is very easily done! It was the small size (which feeds 2 or one famished large framed individual like me). My day was going as planned, glued to chair, keyboard and 3 screens when one screen said my order was here! I darted down, grabbed the wonderful aroma releasing package of joy and returned to my chair fighting office workers off using my green Pilot Gel pen as a fencing foil! En garde! The mouth watering pizza was sliced into large quarters. I figured 2 for lunch, one for late day snack and one when I finally got to go home. And then 1 of those sweet little cannoli at each meal break. People, that pizza was PERFECT! Heavy, sweet, chewy on the inside crispy on the outside crust with the extra cheese holding in the Canadian bacon, sweet green peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and olives. Missions accomplished! Work done, belly full, no cannoli left ... OH, if you see John from my office, ask him about his new green gel tattoo. Touché!

    Thin crust pepperoni

Matthew and I eat here all the time . I don't even really like pizza but I like my high quality pizza ;)such as this place! Especially they're deep dish. This one is a thin crust because Matthew has spoiled me the last 2times we ate here so it was his turn to pick the pizza. I trust his Italian instincts ;). I recommend all the menu items. I have tried them all and they're all delicious. They recently installed a raw cane sugar, soda machine, and those sodas are so tasty . love, a place that stays open late, which is rare nowadays. I highly recommend this place.

I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I've never had anything that wasn't perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that's what really matters in a restaurant, of course. But the vibe is odd. I can't put my finger on it. It's "clique-y". Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I've walked in before they opened. They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties. I don't ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don't get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It's bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don't tell you this: but it's for the regulars. You'll feel like you've wandered into a party you weren't invited to. AND.....order the Prince Edward Island mussels!

What surprised us, however, was being charged $2 for a small cup of hot water with lemon. We were never informed that there would be a charge, nor was it mentioned when we requested it. In all our years of dining at restaurants, both locally and internationally--this is the first time we've ever been charged for hot water with lemon. We were also charged for an extra serving of rolls. Initially, I requested a roll without garlic, but the server explained that the rolls were already prepared with garlic butter, so we agreed to have them served. That was perfectly fine since my husband and son ate them. Later, after we had finished our pasta, the server offered another serving of rolls, he mentioned he has non garlic butter on them. We politely declined, but he said they were already prepared and would serve them anyway. Because of that, we assumed they were complimentary. We only realized when we received the bill that we had been charged for the additional rolls. While we still enjoyed the food, we believe these charges should have been clearly communicated beforehand so customers can make informed decisions and avoid unexpected surprises on the bill. I will remember this if I wanted another puttanesca next time :( From my previous 4 stars, I'll put it down to 3 because of those unacceptable charges

Now, I want to clarify my comment... because this time warp was a really great thing! The decor was true 80's. The music was also from the 70s/80s. Heck, the people working there might have been working there since the 80s too. It just had a consistent 80s feel. And it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time! My husband and I walked in 15 minutes before the restraint closed, and we were met with a smile from the greeter. No one rushed us, no one complained that we were coming in at the end of their shift. Instead, everyone treated us as if we were the first customers of the day. I enjoyed my meal and tipped the price of the meal because of the outstanding service we received. Now for the food. Cody was our server and he was courteous and lively, and overall we really liked the cozy vibe inside. Plenty of space inside for large groups and can be intimate enough for date night too. We ordered the spicy calamari, a Caesar salad, and a pasta sampler to share. First, the complimentary garlic rolls came out, and they might have been my favorite part of the meal. Incredibly buttery, soft, and flavorful. The calamari had a nice batter and savoriness but my girlfriend noted that the green onion garnish tasted off and seem spoiled. We let Cody know and he hopefully relayed that to the chef to let them know. The Caesar salad was pretty typical but enjoyable nonetheless. We got the pasta sampler and the first thing I noticed was that the sauce tasted pretty one dimensional and a bit too sweet for my liking. I'm no Italian food expert but I found it to be at the same level as canned sauces. The cheese fillings and pasta themselves were pretty good and there no complaints there. The meatball also suffered from being a bit bland and had the same problem with the sauce. Maybe it was just an off day, and I do understand they are a family business. Hoping that if I try dining here again I'll have a much better experience than this one.
