Well, it was finally time to give them a try! Highly recommended by a good friend I decided to give this book to try. And boy was I glad I did oh boy! So I got to the establishment in the parking lot was empty. It was lunchtime what? Walking in there was only three young ladies sitting at a table in the middle of the restaurant, and the entire restaurant was empty. I looked at a couple of the menus. They have three different menus one for wings one for fries, and one for pizza! I decided I was definitely going for the wings. I have the 20 piece of wings and ask them how many flavors you could get with 20 pieces they said four flavors. So, after looking at the array of flavors that they had, I went with the buffalo sweet-and-sour, the Parmesan, and the bacon rub. The staff was just too young man, and they were handling things very properly. They took my order got me my drink cup, and I went and sat down. While sitting, I continue to look at all the yummy flavors and the great framing you! And boy, all the pizzas looks exciting! The smell of the wings cooking was incredible and it was well worth the way. All the sudden here came my order. The presentation of the chicken wings on the tray was super awesome! They were all laid out nicely, and they were all seasoned very well. I had to blue cheese is in the side of ranch just so I could try a little bit of everything. Time to dig in. The very first one I tried was definitely the buffalo 5* and wow it was packed full of flavors. The buffalo is on the extra crispy wing, which is in a batter! I usually don't like those type of wings. I just like them traditional, but man this was really good and their buffalo flavor was really yummy! I was very glad it was the one I started with. I didn't get into an extra crunchy sweet-and-sour 5*. Wow that definitely had a ton of flavor. It really popped well! I didn't dip in any sauces just to make sure that I could get a taste of the wing first all of the wings were cooked so perfectly not over cooked, but definitely not undercooked! OK now onto that Parmesan 4.5* wing wow these were super flavored man. They had great flavor to them. They were season very well and presented well also on that tray! Then came the bacon rub 3*. I'm not too sure about the bacon Rob. I don't know that I didn't like it but I don't know that I did. I definitely have to give it a second try! The restaurant was definitely very clean and very well-kept up. I can't wait to get in here and definitely try more flavors and next try their pizza and all their fry menu looks super yummy! I'm telling you right now if you don't get in there and try this place and support this place you're gonna lose them and you'll definitely be sorry that you did! read more

Finally got a chance to try this place. I got there at about 7:45 on Wednesday night. The parking lot was empty and the front door was propped open with a high chair. The neon sign said "open" so I went in. Deja Vu of Long John Silvers. Hee Hee. I was greeted by a really nice young gentleman. I asked about the wings and was surprised to learn you could order them with a flour coating or without. I love this! I prefer my wings crispy fried without coating. In my opion, the only way chicken wings should be served! Being my first time in obviously, and seeing many menus on the counter, I simply asked for his hottest sauce. He went over the hot options, and from his wonderful descriptions of the sauce flavors, I almost chose the mango habenaro, but then he said if you are looking for HOT, try the Reaper and I did. No offense, but the Reaper is not hot. I do have to say that my husband would have had a different opinion on that, and probably would not have been able to eat the reaper wings. For me, if my mouth isn't burning and my nose isn't running, it's not hot. Could this be contributing to my ulcer? While I waited for my freshly prepared order, I checked out the menus, and decided I will have to come back and try other sauces and menu items. My order was carefully packed and he included an adequate cup of ranch for 8 wings and a cup of ketchup for my fries. Bravo! read more

I don't know why everyone else has been so harsh on this place, but it is a newer restaurant so maybe they have just been working out the kinks. We have no kinks whatsoever. I don't know how new this restaurant is, but there's some work to be done for sure. Because we were with the kids, we opted for 24 tenders (between 5 people) and 5 fountain drinks. This ran $72. Yikes Dining room is in progress. I think. Fountain ratio is a bit off our sodas tasted "tap water"-y I watched someone come in with store bottles of BBQ and other sauces. Like, from the grocery store. And these tenders were not made in house. My husband watched them be poured from a bag. I paid $72 for stuff from Grocery Outlet I'm like 99% sure. read more

I sent her the correct location and when she got there the place was closed even though the website said open until 10 pm. I ordered around 6 pm. A new restaurant has opened in what use to be the old Long John Silver restaurant on Kietzke Lane; the sign reads "Wings and Beer", and the smaller sign below it reads "NOW OPEN". The first time I dropped by, the parking lot was full of vehicles, but today, there were a few people and not overly crowded. According to the cashier, this establishment is a small family-owned-mom-and-pop operation, and they've only been open for a couple of days; so they are still getting their bearings. The restaurant has a small menu which lists bone-in and boneless chicken wings, chicken tenders, regular and loaded fries, some dessert options and of course, beer (as the name would imply), plus non-alcoholic drinks too. I opted for a 10-pcs order of Garlic Parmesan wings. They offer different varieties of sauces like; buffalo, teriyaki or mango habanero but I didn't want anything spicy. The wings, were slightly crispy on the outside but tender on the inside; it came with both ranch and blue cheese dressing plus a generous helping of napkins and wet wipes (in case you opted for the saucier versions). Altogether, my order came to about $20 including tip. The restaurant is pretty casual and no-frills; definitely had a laid back and chill vibe. There's a tv in the dining area and I venture this would be a great place to eat wings, drink a beer or two, and watch a game with your buddies. The service is friendly and accommodating but it does take a couple minutes for your wings to be ready because it's all made-to-order; patience key. Overall, it was a good first visit, I will definitely have to pay them another visit and try some of the other offerings on their menu. read more

Once again i tried to go back and hoped things got better. Love the sauce but They have completely went to shit. I paid $50 for these poor excuse for chicken tenders. Ordered #2. 3 CHICKEN TENDERS fries and a drink. Soda fountain only had coke, sprite, and fanta. You should probably mention that before you allow us to pay for a soda we don't want. Drive thru doesn't work and they act like it does when you call them, get there, and sit at the window for a few and never get seen or served. Complete rip off and suggest you just get your chicken tenders and wings in the frozen isle at walmart. Don't waste your time! read more

I tried this place randomly as I was driving down kietzke looking for lunch and saw the Long John Silvers was replaced by a place that said Wings & Beer and I was sold. It was interesting to see how they could reuse pieces of the LJS franchise and make it work for them. I tried the Bacon Rub and Sweet & Sour extra crispy bone-in wings and they were awesome. I want to go back at dinner time with a bigger group because the more wings you order the cheaper it is per wing. Also I can try the beer that way as well. Just don't do it. As much as I love wings and wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, this place was NOT worth it at all.

We were really surprised at the portions, depth of flavor and the great service. We ordered the 20 wing special with Mango habenero and BBQ for wings. The mango habenero was not too sweet and had a great after burn. The bbq was not too sweet either. The wings themselves were a healthy size. We also added the espuite fries. Reminded me of Elote - loaded fry cross up. They could feed 4 people easy. We are definitely going back! read more

Got wings and beer.... Staff was friendly and very helpful. Got 15 bone in wings with three different sauces and 10 boneless. Steak fries were also on point. Reasonable prices. We got the family deal, which was a lot of food for two people, but they gave us a to go box and will be a whole meal for us tomorrow. We tried 5 different sauces. Wife really liked the tamarindo sauce and the bacon rub. They put fresh jalapeño and habanero slices on my boneless wings which I thought was a really nice touch. First impression when you walk in... Spanish radio playing on blown out speakers, and TVs playing American tv in Spanish with subtitles. Person taking our order could barely be understood, and asked if we wanted wings regular or crispy, so we went with crispy. Well... crispy means battered, not a regular but crispy wing. And only beer they have is 805, Modelo, and another Mexican beer. Not even close to what I would expect from a place named Wings and Beer. As for the crispy wings, they tasted like a real good piece of fried chicken, but we wanted wings. My coworkers would always laugh when I told them about this place and how out of the about 10 times I've went , my food has only been right and what I ordered about 2-3 times ... and I always told them well because when it was right, the food was delicious and I loved it. When they were closed for roofing repairs, I was a bit bummed, because I actually enjoyed the food WHEN THEY MADE IT CORRECT .. well now that they were having their reopening after they were temporarily closed for a while, I decided to give them a try again, and not to my surprise at all like I joked around with my coworkers ... MY FOOD WAS MADE WRONG YET AGAIN. Just like I was expecting it too, because apparently it is difficult to make the food that they advertise? I always order the chipotle loaded fries, and when made right are absolutely delicious, well as soon as I check it in my car much to my suspicion the order was wrong. The chicken had absolutely no buffalo and it was pretty much just plain chicken and fries. I clearly ordered THE BUFFALO CHICKEN FRIES. I don't know how hard it was to make exactly what they are advertising. So I went back inside and asked for at least some sides of Buffalo so I could make it buffalo chicken fries myself when I got home since it was too much of a job for them to do it. I was already quite upset and I had a feeling I was going to have a bad experience like many of the other times before their closure and re-opening. I was given about three containers of buffalo, which was fine. As soon as I get in my car, I am, surprised by the fact that the lids were not put on all the way and as soon as I set them down, they pretty much opened up and all the Buffalo spilled in my car... this made me even more upset than I already was. By the time I got home, I realized the fries were old chicken was old as well and it pretty much made the cherry on top and convinced me to never go back. After so many tries of attempting to get orders, correct it was yet another horrible experience that is just not worth all the trouble ... and now I can finally tell my coworkers I definitely WONT be back. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. For what we paid for and the little amount of food we received I feel totally ripped off. You get better boneless wings out of the freezer section at Walmart then what you get here. Never heard of cheese fries being fries that were skinnier then McDonald's fries covered in Parmesan cheese. The only good thing here is there watery ranch dressing.The food at McDonald's was of better quality than what me and my family got here. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

The service was mediocre at best, the food is overpriced and is often wrong or not served at all. Employees can't give refunds for items that they are out of and not told to you until after 20 minutes of waiting for it to be done cooking. I had to ask 3 times if it was done and was still not told that they were out until I was complaining of how long it was taking and was going to be late for work. Then he looked up from his phone and told me that they had no more. I was given something different but not what I wanted. The sauces that should have come with my food, they were also out of. most of the sodas were out or flat and the lemonade had a weird taste to it.
