Multiple takeout orders left and behind lines of food undelivered

Everything can improve. Terrible service, should be totally a quick bite. We came in during the time of a concert so ofc it's gonna be busy but it cleared out quickly. Took so long that everyone basically left without getting their full order. Been waiting for an 1 hour and a half, mind you, server said she would check after constantly asking and having to get up + she never did. Ambiance completely ruined so doesn't even matter. Manager didn't even help just pushed chairs in.

Watching this mess of a casino restaurant. Ordered over 45 minutes ago, still no food, the staff is doing absolutely nothing. It's super loud from the club next door. This used to be a great place for a quick bite to eat but no longer. On the bright side the pizzas are huge! Now up to an hour still no food. Asked for a refund can't figure out how to do that, so here we sit. What a horrible experience!!!! 1 hour 20 minutes finally food arrived, looks good but would never wait for this again! Oh it was just 2 burgers, nothing that should have been difficult.

Enough variety on the menu that there is something for everyone. The service is always friendly and didn't take long for our food to arrive. Very casual setting. I've had their pizza and wings many times but thought I'd switch things up and ordered the bang bang shrimp. Really good and the spice level was perfect. Check it out when you're at the Nugget.

    Pad Thai and burger

The food was not bad, the pad Thai is advertised as spicy and there was no spice. Burgers fire. Can not add lettuce to a burger and even when you dine in for 20 dollar entrees you order off a tablet next to the host. Service was not good. This is a sit down restaurant not acting like a sit down restaurant so my boyfriend would ask questions like "do we get our own drinks?" He was met with a rude attitude and the server saying is this the future?? Yes you do. Order Togo you'll be good.

Last night after a concert at the Nugget Casino, I found a hidden treasure. I was recommended by a customer sitting in the restaurant to try the Pad Thai Bowl. The kitchen is open so you can watch how your food is prepared. I did order the Pad Thai and it was Fab!!!! Served with a wonderful presentation of chicken, noodles, sprouts, onions and spice. You can also have shrimp as well. A very healthy portion in one bowl. I took home my leftovers... Room Chef Trevor Gerber should be awarded for this Pad Thai bowl. I will positively bring my family back for this dish. When you visit The Nugget Casino...head right over to the Island Grill and say hello to Chef Trevor making your beautiful food and my new favorite Pad Thai bowl. Come visit! Amazing!!!! Good food is so beautiful. Julie A.

Had very friendly service at the register! I had the drunken noodles and katsu. Katsu seemed burnt, still decent. Fries were in large portion size so yay. Lastly, the drunken noodles were my favorite, but they were covered in a lot of oil. If they had less oil it would've been much more enjoyable. Overall service is excellent and it's a decent place to eat if you're stuck at the nugget.

The service was okay, we had to bus our own table. They were really busy with a concert happening . I had the Loco Moco, which was not very flavorful. The cheese pizza was plain, sauce was not flavorful. The French fries were good, probably the best part of our meal.

    Roni Pizza. Amazing!

Didn't even know about this walk up restaurant until our last day staying at the Nugget. It was 20 min before closing when we ordered a pizza and let me tell you..... One of the best New York pizzas I have ever had.. Crunchy crust, flavorful dough, zesty sauce with a stretchy cheese pull. A++ Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Will go next time for sure when we go back to Sparks. Restaurant should be called Hidden Island grill because you can walk right past it without even knowing..

Burger and fries were good, but the soda from the fountain drinks tasted like the carbonation was off. The one thing I did not like was being forced to tip when using my card to pay as the option for no tip was greyed out, so you had to choose the tip option. I'm not against tipping. I just like to tip with cash.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

As someone who occasionally likes to eat alone, I really appreciate that. I've visited several times over the years, including recently under the newer ownership. Unfortunately, some of my old favorites aren't quite the same. I used to love their deep-fried oysters, which are no longer on the menu and have been replaced with deep-fried mussels. The kimchi stew recipe also seems to have changed and wasn't as memorable as before. That said, they still serve my favorite gopchang (beef small intestine). When cooked properly, it gets wonderfully crispy and reminds me of Mexican tripas tacos--definitely worth ordering. I'd personally skip the bibimbap appetizer. The rice was hard, the ground beef was cold, and it felt like it relied too heavily on the gochujang sauce for flavor. Even with those changes, I'll continue supporting this business. Service was also attentive.

We started with an appetizer that was a bit dry and tasteless, then moved on to the main courses. I had the shrimp with the fried noodles. It was fresh and enjoyable, but the broth literally wasn't seasoned. Salt please! My son's duck was also good but definitely overcooked and dry. The best by far was his friends Szechuan Beef, which would probably have me come back just for that. The restaurant is in a cute little strip mall and the interior was quite cozy and attractive. The service was also a letdown, as there was no friendliness, no smiles, just clinical service. Overall I would say there are many other restaurants I would choose over this, but we had to give it a try. Cheers, JimG

In case you're not aware, though the name of this restaurant references a specific city in northern China and the menu has dishes from across the country, their specialty is the spicy and numbing cuisine of the Sichuan region. If you've never had this before, when you see dishes listed as spicy, they may be very different from what you're thinking. It's certainly can be a polarizing experience, with many loving this flavor and many not into it at all, but the broad menu makes this a great call for everyone. Now I love dining with others who are familiar because it lets you explore the menu through their eyes and enjoy selections made by others with taste diverse from yours. My friend picked several dishes I would've never noticed or ordered blindly this time, and I'm so happy about that. We enjoyed the cold Woodear or black fungus in chili oil, classic snow pea tips with garlic, as well as the quintessential Sichuan cumin lamb, but the other three dishes we had were 100% new to me. Those included Sichuan snails (unshelled in an oily spicy stir fry), scallops with garlic and vermicelli, and crispy spicy intestines. The snails were a win. These are small and somewhat chewy morsels that get wok fried with fried chili, chili oil, peppers and onions. The texture is similar to sautéed calamari, but a bit firmer, and the sauce coats everything with that signature numbing heat. The scallops were the big miss. This dish typically comes in the half shell with fresh scallops, but here they're using a lower quality scallop (likely frozen) and a lot of pre-minced garlic (like you'd find in a jar). It looks impressive but the scallops had absolutely not flavor and the texture was rubbery too. Skip this one for sure. The intestines were the surprise. I've had fried intestines and they crunch like a chip and have no distinct flavor that lets you know what you're eating. These were sliced on the bias and wok tossed until super crispy on the outside with a delicately chewy interior. The sauce really amplified the flavor and this all made for a great bite within the whole meal. All in all, this is a home run. If you haven't been, I urge you to check it out, as it's one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants around.

It wasn't particularly friendly, but it wasn't rude either, it felt very much like the staff was focused on turning tables quickly, which is understandable when a place is that busy. What I didn't expect was the flavors of the dishes. Each one seemed to have an unusual sweetness that didn't feel typical for Taiwanese food. From the Mapo Tofu to the salted fish fried rice and even the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, they all had a noticeable sweetness to them. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by the variety of Asian food options we have living in the San Francisco Bay Area, but the flavors here just didn't quite match what I usually expect from Chinese/Taiwanese
