A little gem in Minot for sports bar fans. I recently watched UFC 153 with four friends and we all had great service and food. The prices were exactly what i expected for the type of establishment it is. I ordered the hot (sweet... I think) BBQ wings and a hummus platter. Both items came of quickly were delicious. One of the best aspects of Buffalo Wings and Rings is that the crowd is a little older than other sports bar and the place is not overflowing with kids. The noise level of the bar is perfect to have a conversation friends and watch the fights. My one criticism is that TV's should all be on the same channel for major events. However, that is not a big deal as the larger TV's have the UFC fights on them. We will be back for the next UFC event. read more

This is the only other Buffalo Wings and Rings I have been to outside of Del Rio, Texas and it was awesome! Their specialty is definitely in their boneless wings; normally I am a traditional bone-in prefering gal, but you get a lot more meat if you go with the boneless. The meat was moist and cooked perfectly! I also ordered the fried pickles appetizer... the flavor was amazing! Not sure what type of pepper they used but it was a perfect balance with the salty and tartness of the pickles. We held a professional/technical meeting there in the back room and I was very impressed. The presentation was able to plug in to one of the three large flat screens and made it very easy for a 30+ group of people to be able to see and enjoy as they eat. At first when the waitress said that there was only one bartender tonight, I thought we would have issues... but eventually everyone got their beer and were content! Nothing about Buffalo Wings & Rings was bad...but it'll be a while before I come back and give it a second shot. I tried a burger, and will not have a burger here again, for the quality it should have been around $2 or $3. I didn't try wings or rings, which I imagine they would do well (better than their burgers I hope!)...Maybe try those if you eat here? read more

Came for the first time with my Air Force Son and fellow Airmen and families. It was all you can drink and eat (wings) for a reasonable amount. The food was high level bar wings - hot and fast. Several Servers took care of our table with Kelsie as the key Server. Our table was very well taken care of. Beer arrived quickly. Nice Job Ladies. read more

The bleu cheese here is to die for! Unlike the other bleu cheese at the other wing place across town, this one is a lot more choppy and thick. I suspect that it has cottage cheese mixed in it as well which gives it a little extra flavor. I can't think of anything that goes better with bleu cheese other than delicious wings. Unlike Buffalo Wild Wings, the sauce at this place is a lot more 'saucy' and runny which I like. I've been here countless times and have never had a bad experience. The only down side is there are maybe only a dozen different sauces on the menu. Compare that to Bdubs who have a lot more sauces and who continually roll out new ones. Other than that, if you like wings, definitely give this place a shot. read more

Excellent Indeed! Love us some Buffalo Wings and Rings. I can't really speak poorly of the other option in town but this one tends to get more of our attention when in the mood. The food is great and the service is usually just as good. Usually we go with the Traditional wings and always have to have the Garlic Parmesan, Buffalo (Hot), and either the Sweet Thai or BBQ. Most of the flavors are excellent although we weren't huge fans of the Cool Wasabi as we expected much more of that "nasal burn" from something with Wasabi. Always a good meal at Buffalo Wings and Rings. Give it a shot. read more

Reasonably good wings but nothing special. We had the Saturday game day deal with 20 wings and two small sides for ~$27 with tax and a reasonable tip. Wings were a bit vinegary, like a cheap bottled wing sauce. Spice levels were relatively lower than other places I've eaten but not extremely so. Side options were limited to things like fries, cole slaw ect without an up charge. A little loud but I guess that shouldn't have been a surprise. On the upside the two of us were full and it wasn't terrible expensive. Overall it was ok but I wouldn't go back at the price I paid. read more

I ate here the other night for a going-away dinner. I must say I was pleased with my wings and rings. I wouldn't say the wings are bigger than say B-Dubs, but I thoroughly enjoyed their summer sauce 'Bama White Sauce. My wife and I are from Bama, and the sauce was authentic, just as you'd find at Big Bob Gibson's. What I didn't like was that they didn't dress my wings, but instead put the sauce in a cup for me to pour over myself. The rings were crispy, but a bit cold. I am a chicken wing lover and am constantly looking for the next best wings. I am new to the area and right away found Buffalo Wings & Rings right off highway 2. I placed an order of plain and an order of BBQ to go. The wings were very disappointing as they were very dry. They appeared to be deep fried from being frozen which doesn't work well with chicken. The BBQ sauce seemed to have been simply poured on top of the wings as they were not completely covered. To me, I prefer the wings to soak in the sauce for a little while at least and better yet baked in to the wings. The girl who took my order and the manager were very courteous and appeared to be genuinely interested in making sure my experience there was good for me. Perhaps I will go back again to try dining in as the food might be better however it is doubtful as "Serve me disappointing food once, shame on you. Allowing you to serve me disappointing food twice, shame on me". read more

Well my son and I wanted to get something to eat this evening and decided to go to Buffalo Wings and Rings. We went in and saw that the establishment wasn't very busy...let me repeat that, the place wasn't very busy. We were seated promptly and waited for our server (which wasn't that long of a wait). Our server came to our table reeking of cigarette smoke, drink order was taken and shortly food order was taken. (Everything was good up to that point.) There was a table of 6 and then there was a table of roughly 12, food order was brought to us by someone (other than our server) and at that point my drink was empty, server didn't check up on us until we were done, then our server checked on us asking if we wanted more to drink and then proceeded to tell us that they were sorry because they had a big table, but my son told me that he didn't see our server at that big table at all then later our server asked if we needed a togo box (which we did) then proceeded to wipe off another table and forgot about the box and then later brought us the box and we paid our tab and left. For as slow as it was our service should not have been this bad. I really don't know if we'll be going back to there for awhile read more

We ordered two sets of the 20 for $24.99. What seems like a good deal. However half of the wings came out cold an the other came out some what warm. I asked if they could reheat our cold wings an the said no. That the could make us a new order but they have 15 orders in front of us. Our waitress Ayla was less then helpful. Ayla sent supervisor Marie over just to tell us " we can make you a new order but you would have to go to the back of the line". WTF is that? Could have used better verbal skills. There isn't a half of a star option so one star will do. Shrimp appetizer was over cooked and drowned in dressing. Ordered a burger for dinner which was cold to begin with and the fries that we were up charged for where buried in cheese in a bad way and cold and rubbery. Just awful. Everyone we know kept telling us to try this place. So we finally did and we weren't impressed at all. The nachos were boring and half assed. I love fried pickles, but their fried pickles were waaay too salty. Maybe copy bdubs and serve a chipotle ranch too. Lastly, our burgers were also boring and nothing special. We both took one bite of our burgers. I tossed mine when I got home. The waitress was also pretty boring and seemed like she was annoyed. Overall, there was no wow factor about this place at all. We spend an evening in the bar at the Minot Buffalo Wings & Rings with Friend every few weeks for food and drinks! We wouldn't meet anywhere else! We get Great service from the wait staff, drinks are good, love the options on the menu and the food is always Great! We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never had a bad meal! We would highly recommend the Minot Buffalo Wings & Rings to anyone for good food and a place to meet Friends and Family! read more

December 17, 2011 Saturday - dinner 7:00 PM 2 adults Atmosphere - 3 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 3 stars Background - I am from Buffalo and have been eating wings most of my life. Atmosphere - Great number of TV's with different sports games. I actual got to see the Sioux hockey team play the Russian Red Stars. I have to dock them for the bright stadium style lights hanging above the TVs. It made watching some of the TVs difficult. Food Appetizer - I would say the wings or the rings I had are apps but I had them as my meal. Main Course - 10 wings for $8.49 which I think is on the high side. The menu is setup like a check list moving left to right, picking one item from each column. I had the standard wings with Xtra Hot sauce. The variety of wing sauce flavors was good and a wide range of heat levels. I selected the Xtra Hot Sauce, for me the sauce was average or medium too hot for tradition Buffalo wings at other places. The biggest problem I had was the amount of sauce; they serve them in a flat bowl. I had least a half inch of sauce on the bottom of the bowl when I was done. They must toss the wings right in that bowl. To me they should be tossed in a big bowl and then placed on a plate using tongs. The wings were drowning in the sauce but with some crazy bad luck some of the wings were not coated completely. I also ordered the onion rings which had about 8 large rings, with a wider cut than must rings, and the breading was good. I could order those again. Dessert - none need. Service - Wow this really needs some improvement here. The hostess asks if we want to sit at the bar, we are like sure, there is room. There was no room in the bar area. So we have to work our way back to the hostess station. We told her two and she walks away with two menus without notifying us what she is doing. So we walked up to her as she asked if the table on the side of the half wall was good, it seats six. Why have three tables each designed for two people all pushed together for six people? Our table was not the only one set up like this. So we took it like we had much of a choice in the matter as that was the only I could see. We waited for about 10 minutes before a waitress finally walked by and she stated I did not see you there. How to do you miss two grown men sitting at the end of table? As she continued to walk by she indicated she would be right back. Less than a minute a young man took our drink order, and realized that we were ready to place our food order. He repeated a lot of what we said and even had to come back, but I am fine with repeating this stuff as long as they get it right. After we got our food, he did not show back up until I was on wing number 8, really by then does it matter how the food tasted. If I had a problem I would have been livid taking that much time to get back to me. The manager talked to his employees many times in front of our table and not a single word to us about service and food quality or just general friendliness. I admit seeing a manager helping his staff by busing a table was good. Future - Maybe. read more

Food is absolutely amazing!! I could eat here every day if my time permitted it :) Service fantastic! Never waited for a refill on my soda and like most parents I always need extra napkins and its awesome having them right there on the table :) Atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. First and last time eating here. First, I tried to place an order online, and a good number of items listed on the menu aren't available to order online. So I called it in. No big deal. Then, when I attempted to place my order, they were out of 2 of the 3 items I wanted at 7:30 at night. When I picked it up, they forgot my drink. I ended up with a burger, some coleslaw and a dessert. When I get back to my hotel room, the first thing I notice is there are no utensils. Then, I bite into my burger and realize it is a fresh pressed patty, which is great, but they never asked me how I wanted it cooked and just assumed I wanted it rare to the point it was bleeding into the bun. While it took a few to be seated because there was no one helping to determine the take out line and the dine in line.....the service was pretty prompt considering how slammed they were. Having a different option for wings in the area other than Buffalo Wild Wings is great. We love it here. I have never heard of the place until we moved out to Minot. There is always an open seat at the bar for us when we come. The wings seem larger here than at Bdubs and the sauce has much more flavor. There aren't as many flavor choices, but it just makes it easier to choose one. I would like to see some happy hour beer prices in the future - haven't noticed a happy hour price both times we have been in. read more

This is a new place for me. I shall start off with the food. I opted for the chicken gyro which was pretty good but I tried the Saratoga chips which were way too hard and nearly burnt. The gyro was ok, I mean, I've had better. And I just don't understand the whole Kraft Mac n Cheese meals for kids. It costed over $5.00 and came with a side. But really? The service was ok, our server was really friendly but didnt help too much with their extra long menu. I mean a menu that looks like a book, man that just makes things confusing.
