Today was not a good experience. The server was very polite and provided options. It was an early lunch so it was not crowded. I ordered 12 wings, split flavors lemon and pepper and hot buffalo sauces. I prefer wet buffalo and I asked the server if they are cooked that way. She said yes......both flavors were DRY and unfavorable. The buffalo wings were dry dry! The wings are very small as well. I will pay for great wings but these made me angry! On arrival, the place gave a charm and a nice vibe from both other customers and employees. Not long after we sat down, we were asked for our orders and after a few minutes our order were sat down piping hot and ready to eat. The sauce: The sauces that the group ordered were all good and were exceptional sauces for what they were. My wing philosophy is if the teriyaki is good all others are as well. The teriyaki was amazing and my philosophy was once again correct as the Hot, Hotyaki, Garlic Parmesan, and Teriyaki were all delicious. 8.5/10 This is a must stop if you've got the time. Decent wings that are cooked nice and crispy. The wings are a pretty nice size and can be ordered in all drums or flats, dry or wet, etc. My recommendation is to get them wet! The sides are pretty basic and leave more to be desired. They really aren't worth the extra calories. The service was super friendly and the prices are reasonable. Lots of seating space inside and outside. This place could be a little difficult to spot from the main road because its tucked away in the corner of a strip mall. read more

We normally have a very good experience here, as we frequent this establishment often. We stopped in today and sat outside. The hostess was very nice and provided us menus. We waited for ten minutes and never received service. There was a server working the porch, but she never said one word to us. I love the wings here but the flavor sometimes is inconsistent. I have found it is always best to say, "Heavy on the..." Or extra something, which for me is lemon pepper. Don't get me wrong, the wings are cooked well but sometimes the sauce or flavor is missing. Inconsistent is the only word I have. Anyway, the wings are great and I order them all the time for parties and they are always a hit (when are wings not a party fav?). I mix all sorts of combinations and the staff is so accommodating and helpful...Even for last minute orders that are really large. Good food. Fair prices. Wings not bad. Make sure you ask about specials and get specifics. We ordered beers because special board says $1.50 drafts and kids eat 1/2 off on Saturdays. But, when bill came, some beers didn't qualify and kids 1/2 off lasted only until 5pm. Wings were cold and undercooked. Unfortunately, I was already on the highway before I even opened the box to check. Mango Hobernaro was terrible. But just checked your food prior to leaving. While standing there another set of wings where returned for being cold. Should have been a red flag but I was already paid. So ended up checking all the wings out of 10/4 were cold and undercooked. French fries are okay not the greatest. For $12 dollar price tag BWW is 10X better then this place. read more

I would eat here for years. Used to be the best wings and chicken fingers in Fayettville. Today, I don't know what happened to this place. I got take out. The wings were dry. Wings & Things Restaurant is a long time favorite of the locals. They have a good variety of foods including chicken fingers, hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. Of course, they are known mostly for the best wings around. They have many flavors to choose from including several different degrees of hot, teriyaki (my personal favorite), lemon pepper, and barbeque. The wings are large and always cooked nice and crispy without being overcooked. My wife swears they are the best wings she's ever had. Don't forget an order of onion rings on the side... they have some of the best onion rings in town too. They are thin and coated with a crispy crust. I ask for mine to be cooked a little longer than normal though because I like them good and crispy. The restaurant can be a little hard to find so just look for Mrs. Winners on N Glynn St and you'll find Wings & Things in the very back of the shopping center next door. If you order to go you need to check your order. I sent my teenager to pick up and they didn't give us the drinks I ordered. I also asked for extra chrispy wings and fries. Fries were soggy and cold, and the wings were borderline undercooked. Got Bbq wings (plenty of sauce) and medium buffalo wings which didn't have very much sauce on them that you could barely taste. They also basically shorted me a wing as well by putting on a half sized broken wing that was gross. I haven't ordered in over a year because they messed up an order before. Sign on the doors said they close at 10p, but when my girlfriend and I got there at 9:15p we were turned around and refused service because they said they were closing early. When asked why they replied it was because they were slow. Why turn away customers when you're slow? Counterproductive to me...hope it wasn't because of the color of my skin.
