I really can't say anything bad of this place. Pretty straight forward. I love that they make everything fresh so my food came out piping hot and crispy. The menu is also pretty straight forward and I loved that they had lunch special which is what I ordered and you have a few options with the lunch special which a lot of places don't give. I want to try the spring onion chicken soooooo bad. Also the Garlic Soy sauce hits. I'm from NYC and we have K town and so many other Korean fried chicken spot but this place hits. When you walk in, you have a sense of a nice clean spacious restaurant. Plenty of seating. Saw alot of take out while we were there. The person at the counter is friendly and warm and approachable. This being our first visit we needed some extra time to look at the menu and had questions. Happy to answer. Our food arrived quickly. It was hot and fresh. The garlic chicken has a nice kick for a American pallet. They have an option for even Spicer if you like that. Was very pleased with the curly fries as an option for a side. Went back to CM Chicken after a few months hiatus given how poorly they did the first time I arrived. The food was hot this time, and as far as fried chicken goes it was perfectly cooked. Everything tasted pretty great, the portions were the correct size this time, and it was much much better than my initial visit on their opening weekend. With that being said, the prices on the menu items are still well outside of reasonable for a restaurant that isn't full service. You can eat at The Beiruit, or Curious Pig half a mile away, or Cafe Hillary in Senoia, for a nearly identical price and get sides, a drink, and table side service for nearly what you pay here. I got the Garlic Soy Tikkudak this time, it was good, but not particularly exceptional, and it's still not a good enough value to justify a price point roughly equivlenet to some of the best restaurants in town. For this place to fill it's niche, it needs to come down about $3-$4 on it's menu items. I can report that they're delivering a quality product now, but paying $19 (I tip on take out because I worked in restaurants for six years, and know the staff needs every dollar.) for some fried chicken in a box remains nonsense. If every dish on their menu was $10-$12 this place would be great, but 60% over that without any sides, drinks, or service remains prety unreasonable in my opinion. Since my last review I have given them three stars instead of two because the quality of the food improved dramatically. But fundamentally, it's still a preposteriously expensive place to eat for simple fried chicken tossed in a sauce like wings at a bar. $16 for something Publix can do as well for nearly half that. At least at this juncture I can say I'll go back again, don't know exactly when, but I'd like to try and find a menu item that was so outstanding that it justifies the price gouging. read more

Overall 5/5: Located in Peachtree City, this is the newest Choong Man Chicken location in Georgia. Food 5/5: This was my friend's first time trying Choong Man Chicken. I on the other hand had been to the other locations and was super excited to try this one. We got the classic soy garlic chicken, curly fries, and sides of radish! Unfortunately they didn't have rice, which is always my favorite at Korean restaurants, but everything we got was super yummy! Service 5/5: Super friendly, super kind service! The girl at the front that took our order was super patient and cool. She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. They brought the food to us outside when it was ready which didn't take too long either. Environment 5/5: The music they played was really enjoyable. We sat outside which was really nice, it was a beautiful day. Inside was pretty plain, not too much decoration. Still very clean. Parking was easy and bountiful. I came by this place by happenstance. Upon entering the establishment I was pleasantly greeted by a customer service representative. She was so helpful in helping find what I would like to eat. I tried the Red Hot Pepper Chicken menu item and it was a delicious experience. The chicken is cooked perfectly and it the gochujang sauce was not too spicy but just right. You'd think that there are enough fried chicken places in the South. But this place really ups the game with a whole menu of varieties. Not kidding when I say I've been here 4 times in to weeks and each time, I got to chance to try something new. My favorite is the lemon green onion chicken and the spicy tikkudak. The tikkudak has that "roasted" taste that tastes and feels authentic. The snow onions and the lemon green onions have that acidity that is missing in so many chicken places. 12/10. I recommend the snow onion wings. The snow onion sauce is cold and very creamy! It is super refreshing when you eat it with the hot fried chicken. First of all, this restaurant is very clean. I didn't see one speck on any of the tables. I had the snow onion wings and they were delicious. The wings were hot and crispy. I called and asked to be refunded for my fries and they asked me to bring it in to show them. I told them I will be taking my business elsewhere. I don't know why I spent over $2 a wing to get garbage service but save your money. French fries are the easiest thing to cook. Um nope. All these positive reviews must be fake or friends. 1/3 of the chicken was dry another 1/3 to half was overcooked, across 3 orders of tenders and wings. The sides are way overpriced and so are the mains. When we asked for more sauce, they wanted to charge another dollar each, for those 2 ounce, little black side cups! Then I said I'm asking because the chicken is dry and overcooked and he asked to see them.. So I showed him the dry and barely sauced chicken along with an overcooked piece which only had a bite in it. Did he replace anything, offer to remake anything? Nope! Just gave us 1 tiny cup of sauce 'for free' saying, "I'm not going to charge you for the sauce" Ooo, thanks. The 3 orders of chicken should have been replaced or refunded also!! Every time I've been to this place, I've been seriously impressed. Their chicken is fresh out of the fryer and full of flavor. Their fried calamari is so airy and delicious that it is literally the best I've ever had, anywhere. Their fish from the fish and chips was amazing and far outshines any other fast restaurant I've been to. The sauces are fantastic--but be aware that if you order something with a spicy sauce, it might possibly set you on fire. The food is always fresh and too hot to touch when it's served.
