Ugh... I will never eat at City Wings again and we go often. Two men came into the restaurant, they were truck drivers to deliver City Wings their food. Well they came in and told the people at the counter that they couldn't make the turn on the corner because a vehicle was blocking it. Our waitress proceeds to yell at them get loud in the restaurant being very disrespectful to these two men. Making a scene not once did they get loud with her or anything they were very polite. The lemon pepper wings were incredible, and at the cheapest price in Cartersville. My parents ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken fingers. My dad said the chicken fingers were dry, but did have a great taste. The chicken sandwich would have been great had they gotten the sandwich. Big mistake, here's what you need to know: * All of the food was ice cold. * The flautas were burned black all the way through. * It took over an hour to get here (I'm less than 5 miles away). * The delivery driver said the reason the price on the phone was different than what we were charged is because they forgot to charge for delivery- turns out he just added a second delivery charge (so 6 bucks just on delivery instead of 3 for a $13 order). They were the BEST I've ever had and I've eaten them all over the country and Mexico! The chips and salsa was pretty darn good and the beans n rice were average. City wings has really good wings. The lemon pepper is one that enjoy the most. The garlic Parmesan is very tasty so that's my second recommendation. I will say, the reason I gave it a 4 star because they are very slow for takeout. If you are in a rush I would not suggest going here. read more

Well when I used Yelp to find buffalo wings of course it led me to this place. To my surprise I arrived at a Mexican restaurant called city wings that specialized in wings. And boy were they good! The staff was nice upon entering and let us seat ourselves. The menu consisted mainly of Mexican dishes with one section for 9 Flavors of wings. I chose the medium lemon pepper and they were seasoned just right. The sauce gave a bearable spice for me with the lemon pepper taking it over the edge. Had one order of 10 wings, celery and ranch. The wings were good but smaller than I remember. I opened the foil to get to the celery and I saw two dead flies looking at me. I called the resturaunt to tell them and all they said was "you're name?" and "ok". when I repeated my situation, expecting to speak to someone, all I got was another "ok". We went inside and ordered our food to go as usual, the lady said everything's in the bag, we get all the way home and NOT everything in the bag and this is not the first time it happened but the second or third time now. First off, this was the first time we ever had any problem with this location, and we've been frequenting them since 07'. Called in the order after waiting on hold for a good 3 minutes, but being a Friday night it's expected. We ordered queso, a Morelia salad & flautas. Since we're in Kingston, it's 30 minutes one way. Over an hour later, I open the bag & all we got was the queso & an order of chicken fajitas. No steak, no shrimp, & instead of fried flautas they gave us 3 plain tortillas wrapped in foil. So I called to let them know of the error. After being put on hold 3 times I spoke with Jose & after some debate he said to keep what we had & I'd get a full refund when I was in town. He stated that the cooks decided to give me what we got instead of what we ordered. As I've eaten in several hundreds of restaurants around the country, this is the first time the cooks have modified my order for me. But that's not where the story ends. The next day, just before noon, I come into the restaurant to get my refund. The first call to Jose only generated $10 for the flautas. Then having to explain the missing steak, chicken & tortilla bowl, another $13 came out, not the full refund I was told I'd be receiving. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the customer service, the blind decision made about my order & the overall experience. I ordered 5 mild wings and 5 teriyaki. One word. WET. I learned afterwards I could have ask for them dry. I will next time because that was one messy dinner. They are great wings. City Wings came up from several people as a recommendation. OK, sounds good...I'll bite. Called and got a friendly voice asking me how they could help me. I stated I wanted delivery. She asked my address and said "OK" what can we send you. I ordered and was told 45 minutes ( actually took an hour, but I ordered at the peak of dinner hour). Order arrived (cute girl) and the food was hot and packaged well. The quality was over the top! The burger was as delicious as ANY hand crafted burger I ever had, the French fries were home made and enough for two people. But the "cherry on top" we're the Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings!
