This is probably the worst Roadhouse we have eaten at. Today's service was terrible. We asked to place a to go order to take home to our son and they said all was good and when the check come the to go order was never placed. We were never brought anymore rolls and the fried pickles were not crispy at all. Very bad representation of Roadhouse. I will eat at Longhorns next time I'm in Ashland. read more

Texas Roadhouse is one of my favorite restaurants, the food is consistently good and so is the service. Their ribs are fantastic, meaty and tender, any of the steaks I've had have been tender and flavorful cooked like I ordered them. One of the best items on the menu is their pork chops, the chop dinner has become my favorite menu item and it's pretty much my go to. The only negative thing I might say, and it's not something horrible, is it's loud inside. Between the music playing and the general noise of the restaurant it's pretty hard to talk with people you are dining with. read more

I had been to Texas Roadhouse several times in the past 20 years while in town visiting my family. This time I went with one of my best friends from high school. We started off with the Cactus Blossom. Pretty tasty but a little more grease than I prefered. But that didn't stop me from eating it lol. My friend and I had not seen each other in a year so we had a lot of catching up to do. It took us probably 30 to 40 minutes to place our dinner order. Our server kept checking back with us and finally asked us to let her know when we were ready to order because we couldn't stop talking long enough to look at the menu;) I ordered the 6 oz steak with a baked sweet potato with brown sugar and butter and a side salad. This was suggested by my friend and it was delicious. I ordered my steak medium and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Oh and I can't forget the rolls with honey butter.....yummy! I ordered the rolls and butter for our Thanksgiving dinner last year and they were a big hit with the family. It was a fundraiser for my great niece. Worst experience ever at a Texas Roadhouse. Called in at 630 to join the wait-list and finally got seated around 8pm. Waitress finally took our drink order but failed to bring them. Appetizer showed up with the drinks. When the food finally showed up the order was missing several items and the 2 steaks were cold. We sent them back twice and the last time it seemed they were microwaved because they were so stuff you couldn't hardly eat it. I'm not sure the issue that night but 2 other tables near us sent their food back as well. read more

I just returned from a delicious meal at the Texas Roadhouse. I must say, I've been there many times, but this evening was the best experience yet. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The hot rolls were a beautiful brown color and very tasty. From the time we were seated until when we left, we were treated well. The manager stopped by our table and asked how we were doing twice. Our server, Laci, couldn't have been better. I watched as Laci cleared a table from a previous customer. She carefully wiped down the table and seats, but she went a step further! She wiped down every menu front and back, and cleaned salt and pepper shakers as well as the condiment containers. read more

In the last 2 years this restaurant has backslid to being unreliable and often, disgusting. This store used to be one of their highest grossing stores nationwide, they have lost most of their loyal customers who helped them achieve this status. We ordered "burgers" tonight, and they were burned so black that they were hard, then they covered them in salt to make sure nobody would eat them. The management at this store needs a serious retraining, regardless of their workforce, their issues lie in the supervision, or lack thereof. We are locals and for years we enjoyed this restaurant as the best in the Tristate, but moving forward we will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

It seems like after the pandemic that the food at most of my favorite dining establishments is lacking. But not at Texas Roadhouse. Everything ordered from here is just as delicious as it always was. The service is always good and the wait staff friendly. My wife and I stopped by there yesterday to enjoy lunch. While eating we engaged in pleasant conversation with one of the day managers. I think Christine was her name. She stopped to ask if our meal was to our liking then we told her about the good service, much better quality food and prices than at the new Longhorn restaurant down the street. She told us that almost everything was made fresh there and that they had an excellent training program for their workers. In conclusion, great quality food, extremely nice managers and staff, and reasonable prices....... just about as good as it gets. read more

The food and service here at Texas Roadhouse usually ALWAYS tickles my fancy. I was incredibly excited to visit today after a long while. We were seated and brought some scrumptious, warm rolls. However, this was to be the only basket of rolls we got the entire time until she had to be asked and even then, didn't bring them until I was already done with my entree. I used to love road house. I am a shy person and usually suck it up if my food is cold or my order is wrong. But I just gotta say, the last 3 or 4 times I've been, I had to send my food back twice! And as we were leaving, we noticed bugs crawling on the tables. The waitress we had last time was rude and everyone at the table had to send their food back at least once, if not more. I apologized to the waitress and told her I understood it wasn't her fault and she replied in a snarky tone "no it's just my husbands fault." My father and I come out from Washington state once or twice a year to visit family and have always come to the Roadhouse for a meal with our relatives. In previous years we have been satisfied with the service and food but today was our last visit. The service was pathetic and the food a disappointment. I'm in the service industry and understand what's involved in serving multiple tables at once so I know it's not easy. However, Emily was our server this afternoon and she seemed to be in a rush to get off work or something. Our butts had barely grazed the seats when she asked us if we were ready to order. She saw that we were just sitting down and didn't have menus yet. We ordered drinks and a couple appetizers anyway knowing what we wanted from previous visits. She returned with our drinks and again asked us for our order. We needed another minute so she returned and we ordered. The salads came out but then nothing for quite some time. All of a sudden three people were at the table with our entrees but everyone still had salad plates and appetizer plates in front of them. Nobody offered to clear our table to make room for our entrees so we were left to move dirty dishes to the open table next to us. If I wanted to bus my own table I would eat at home. My Dad asked for some extra sauce when his food arrived but it was never brought to him. Two of the entrees were inedible but Emily was nowhere to be found so the food was just pushed aside and not eaten. Halfway through our meal Emily came back and presented the check to my Dad and stood waiting for his payment. I find this to be extremely rude. Let me eat my meal with my family before I need to stop and get out my wallet. I had ordered a meal to go but never received it and had to ask another server to track it down for me. Emily didn't return once our bill was paid so I couldn't ask her about it. Something has changed at this location and it's not for the better. We will not be back. read more
