We tried this place for the first time as expected it was very busy with a 15 minute wait we sat at the bar and ordered the 100 ounce beer tower which was on special which is a fantastic idea. The bar staff were friendly. We were seated downstairs outside on the patio deck within 15 minutes. Outside patio decks is something that this area is lacking so it was nice to finally get a place where you can enjoy the boats, the food and drink. Our server was Joe very pleasant and courteous man we sampled most of the sauces I had to TNT wings and my wife had a wrap the food was very good. The specials they do on different days is a great idea and I think will be very successful. Moving forward I would like to see more dry rub sauces available, maybe add 2 or 3 TVs on the patios and maybe some kind of reward system as I think that would also be good, will definitely be eating there again. Ok, IMHO this is better than other local favorite BW3's, much more variety, and you can't beat the view. There's a great outdoor deck - they kept some of the stuff/look from Thumb Coast - namely the corrugated steel/grain elevator look - but the food variety is much more in tune with area. Waitress was very attentive, but hey - they've been open like three days, I'd expect that. Bottom line - they've started well, we shall see where they are a couple months from now. read more

We used to be fans of Wings Etc but things have gradually gone downhill. The last few times we have dined in the service was horrible. I don't know if it's because we didn't order alcohol or what but it took forever to get our food and then the servers never come back to check on you. We just decided to stick with carry out because the food was still good. Until recently. We ordered 50 boneless wings with 4 different sauces. They put all 50 in the same container! Other than the wings with dry rub we couldn't tell what sauce was on which wings. We also ordered a full order of French fries and it was barely a handful of fries. I would hate to see what a half order would look like. I doubt we will order from there again. read more

Just ordered a hawgzilla pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac-cheese. The meat was gray in color and definitely spoiled! The Mac-cheese flavorless! I paid 14.36 , what a complete waste! We have ordered from here before but this was the first time we tried the sandwich! Just gross! read more

My husband and I truly enjoyed our experience tonight. We sat on the balcony with a beautiful view of the water. Our waitress, Taylor, was kind, prompt to refill drinks and made quality conversation with us. We ordered wings, to our surprise many sauces are homemade. There's one woman playing bartender and waitress for the bar and roughly 6 tables (one person to take orders, make drinks, get checks that are usually wrong, etc)... took 10 minutes to order a drink with only 3 others at the bar. I ordered the garlic parmesan wings and they were really good. The only problem I had was that there was too much sauce on them but they were good. Sadly disappointed. I have been here twice in the last week or so and had terrible experiences both times. The first time I thought it may have been a fluke and decided to give them another chance and was equally if not more disappointed. Warning for the long review but truly hope the restaurant fixes these large issues once they are open for longer. Having worked years in the service industry myself, I normally understand where the workers are coming from and try to be extra patient and understanding. However, this was beyond that scope and should be addressed so that the place can survive. At this point, it has been open about 2 weeks so I do understand the growing pains associated with new openings but there are certain things that would have been expected to be addressed immediately. The first time we waited over 30 minutes to even place our drink order. It was a table of 4, so nothing too crazy. When we arrived we requested to sit outside and were told there was a 25 minute wait on tables, even though we later found out there were 12 servers on staff at the time and only one table was full on the patio and the rest were cleaned and open for seating. Then when we ordered food, the server listed chili as a side option without stating it would cost $2 extra. Then when the sandwich came out, they forgot to even bring the chili that was ordered. When they came back with the chili, they did not bring a spoon to eat it with. I mentioned this right away and again to another FOUR PEOPLE including a manager. All of them apologized and never returned to the table with a spoon. Ultimately, one of the people I was with was finished eating and personally went inside to grab a spoon herself. By this time, the chili was cold and inedible. It was not until after 4 requests that the waitress even noticed the lack of spoon had been resolved by us personally. When I mentioned this whole scenario they refused to remove the up-charge from the bill, even though I was not told this charge would occur nor did I even eat the chili due to their negligence. (I should also note, the other two tables that were sat while we were there also had issues: one requested an item to be removed from their bill because they didn't receive what they ordered and the other didn't get silverware in the entire time they were there. We ended up giving them ours that we did not use). I then returned today to give them another chance, thinking maybe the poor service last time wasn't a regular thing. For one, I wish I had taken a picture of the fish sandwich I received. The (very dry) fish was about the size of a Twix bar, on a bun that was 4 times as big. I think the whole thing took me about 3 bites without eating the abundance of bread. The "veggie side" was 2 thin slices of green peppers, 2 slivers of carrot, and 2 slices of cucumber. Not much. And the Worst part of it all was that they were closing up the restaurant while myself and 4 other tables (just that I could see) were still eating or ordering. And once again we were not allowed to sit outside as they had already cleaned it up. Now I would understand this if we had visited right before close, but we had finished our meals almost an hour before closing time. During our meal, which was, again, over an hour before the restaurant was set to close, the workers were picking up chairs directly next to us, mopping the floor, turning off lights and tv's, and yelling all the way across the restaurant to each other about their personal leftovers. It felt incredibly rude and rushed, and took 15 minutes to get a simple side of ranch because all of the waitresses wanted to finish cleaning before grabbing it. In general, a blatant lack of concern for customers. I love the location and have for years and was incredibly disappointed this was not managed better. I'm genuinely hoping it improves as they are open longer or I fear another closing in the near future. You have one chance to make a first impression, and sadly they did not make a good first or second. read more

Went here for lunch two days after their grand opening, we'll definitely be back! Great service, friendly attentive servers, very clean & a really nice patio area (seating outside upstairs & downstairs outside). Prices weren't terribly high, about comparable to B-Dubs. HUGE menu selection, which is nice. Got a dozen of their boneless wings, very crispy & not dry at all. We opted for sauce on the side so we could try different flavors & I recommend doing it this way because they have 19 sauce flavors. Our fave was Say It Ain't Tso, a teriyaki type of sauce. Gar-Licky Parm is a little too salty for my taste & Sweet Chili Cha-Cha is decent w/ a teeny bit of a zip. And what we liked is you can get several different sauces to try. Also tried their Deep Fried Baby Portabella Bites, not too bad & we recommend dipping in either Ranch or Say It Ain't So. We split a "The Baron" sandwich, very yummy, moist marinated grilled chicken breast w/ bacon & cheddar-jack cheese along w/ their Straight Fries, which were lightly seasoned & really good. I am willing to give this place a second chance as it is new. However, there is a lot to improve on. Nachos are not impressive, chips were greasy and the "4 person size" was definitely much smaller than anticipated. Wings were average at best. Sauce appears to be drizzled on the top. I ordered 16 boneless and 4 sauces. They were served all in one plastic serving bowl with wax paper separating each flavor. Poor presentation for sure. The bar downstairs hasn't changed much from when this was Thumb Coast Brewery. However, the patio seems to be a bright spot with numerous picnic tables and a great view of the water. Hopefully the next visit improves on the initial experience. read more

our order was so bad, i made a yelp account to review it. we ordered a pick up off doordash and we never received a pick up confirmation, so we waited over an hour to find out our food was sitting on the counter to be picked up. then we noticed we were missing our kids drink and when we showed the workers our doordash receipt they told us it didn't matter and if we wanted a drink we would half to purchase another one. then we took our $65 order home to enjoy, only to find out the food is completely bland and disgusting. the only things that were tolerable were the kids meal corn dogs and curly fries. the wings were bland, the pretzels were not salty and were hard, the cheese dip was cheap and didn't even taste like cheese, the oreo churros tasted like literal cardboard with oreo dust, and the fries with cajun seasoning had no cajun taste. all in all, customer service was terrible and so was the food. we definitely regret not just going to bdubs! read more

Family came here for dinner while visiting Lake Huron. Service was extremely slow. I was super hesitant when I saw the menu, but everything else was closed. My chicken quesadilla looked like it was prepared at an elementary school down the street. It had like 5 pieces of chicken and the cheese was only in the middle. My girlfriend got the fish and chips and some chicken wings to share. Equally disappointing. The chicken wings were so dry and stale. We both got stomach aches later on that night, her throwing up. My nephew even complained about the steak and cheese because it was like 80% onions. He's 14 and I've seen him literally eat a napkin and be satisfied. Go somewhere else. Been here four times, and every time the food and the service was terrible, and so consistently so, you'd swear that was their end goal. It's a place to grab mediocre beer by the water. That's it. Nestled along the Black River, this place has quickly become one of my favorites. Wings are fantastic with many different sauces to choose from. Don't know about the other menu items because they are all I've ever ordered. The staff is friendly, especially the wonderful Stephanie, who flashes a smile and actually acts like she's glad you're there.
