For food, I was craving a burger but I visited on the wrong day. I chose the Thai style wings and a carne asada taco. Wings - the wings were decent but I got tired of eating them after the first 2. The thai peppers that it came with were not very spicy at all. The meat was also a little challenging to get off the bones for some reason. Taco - I enjoyed this better than the wings, even though this was smaller. Service was decent but not perfect. I was already ready to leave and then they asked if I wanted another drink. They were about 5 mins late since the bar area wasn't actively manned during a majority of my visit.

Had a rib eye steak and eggs breakfast there the other morning. The steak was nicely done, crisp hash browns and eggs over medium. Wheat toast to make me feel healthy, too. Really good! I have had the chef's chili too! Randy's Chili. They have the regular Coney chili for the hotdogs but have this if you want a bowl of chili. Good stuff. For my breakfast I ate at the counter, diner style and server (can I say, "waitress"?) was really nice. Didn't have to ask for coffee refill. Have to get in there again soon. read more

This location is undergoing to return to its previous owner. Walking by today, the sign says it is closed for cleaning (maybe some remodeling, too, I'm guessing). Hopefully Neil and Debbie do something great with it. Their restaurant in Port Huron (Pompeii's) is great! read more

Gosh I love that about Michigan. So many places offer simply white, wheat, or rye. On a good day you might be offered an EM. But Raisin Bread - I LOVE IT! Prices reasonable too. Bonus.
