Wings were amazing and the pizza was so good. Definitely have the wings. We ate them and forgot to take a picture before hand

Not good. Friendly people, but bad pizza. Not enough sauce, and I didn't like the cheese. Crust was OK. Service was great, so ideally this would be more of a 1.5 or 1.75, but the pizza was bad enough I'm rounding down.

It's conveniently located next to Hopyard, where Wings 'N' Pies serve orders next door so people can drink beer with their meals. The BBQ grinder was very good and filling. I appreciated that there were a lot of vegetables, and the bbq sauce was very sweet, but went really well with all the other savory ingredients.

This place is great! So far I've tried 2 types of calzones and wings. The calzones are amazing and packed with a lot of ricotta cheese. The crust is very good and buttery, cooked to perfection. I tried the wing sampler and I loved that you could order just drumsticks or flats, I also love that it came with celery and carrots! My favorite flavor of the 5 I tried was the garlic Parmesan. Highly recommend this place and will be back to try different items and more flavors of wings.

In town visiting my son and he wanted to Wings'n'Pies. He'd had it delivered before. We thought we'd be able to have a sit-down family dinner, but they're still not doing dine-in. Got the 24" cheese, 25 wing (lemon pepper), and 2 liter special. I complained the whole time because I kept telling my boys it was too much food. Long story short, we had four wings left and like five slices (which they'll have for breakfast. I liked the dry rub lemon pepper and the pie was really good too.

Memory don't fail me now. The last time I visited this area was in 2003 for training and I don't remember anything about this place at all. The restaurant is right across the main base gate and I wanna say this use to be a bar (place sailor and bar joke here) but not entirely sure. However now I'll remember this place for its food. Being in the military, means getting paid the 1st and 15th of the month. It was a few days before payday so the place was deserted of sailors. But I'm sure on payday this place gets swamped if the keep serving the same quality of food they served us. Now I don't expect the finest seafood to come out of here or even mouthwatering steaks but I do expect a stick to your ribs heavy meal. And that's what I got with my entree. I ordered a large steak and cheese sub with everything but the banana peppers. When my sandwich first came out, I was upset. Who in the military world eats a veggie sandwich? You read my BK review on the impossible burger right? That's what it looked like to me but when I picked it up I was happy. The sub was packed with meat on the bottom. And the bread was toasted to perfection so it cradled the steak nicely. And it all got held together from the melted cheese. I also got a side order of curly fries. Our server forgot I ordered them but promptly brought a hot order when he realized his mistake. In fact, he apologized and took them off the bill. I know it wasn't on purpose so I just padded the tip. The fries could use some help. It's not like Jack in the Box (I know you're read) where you expect them covered with seasoned salt. Overall four stars. The food is hearty and good prices for the not so rich sailor. Parking is ample and inside seating is plentiful. The service was the bomb. Thanks buddy. Now excuse me, we gotta long drive back. M

Good food & service. Wings recently changed and are prob the best around the Groton area right now! Very relaxed seating and atmosphere.

This is an unassuming bar cafe in a strip mall…read more I would say that Sneekers is loaded with regulars and locals. One of my friends recommended this place to me. So I went. Like I said, it's a local bar that serves decent food. I ordered the Rhode Island clam chowder and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for about $15. I also had a local craft beer. The craft beer was suggested by the waitress and was cold, and on point with a citrusy flavor. It was really good. Nothing seemed to hit me on the menu so I went with Rhode Island clam chowder to compare, that included a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. The Rhode Island clam chowder was OK. But the grilled ham and cheese was on point, that included lots of cheese, and a smoky ham. I like this. On a cold and damp day like today, I couldn't think of anything better than soup and a grilled cheese. This was comfort food. So if you're ever in the Groton area, and you're hungry and need a beer or a cocktail, this would be an OK stop. There are other choices I would like to visit, so I'm sorry to say this is probably a one and done for me. The place was dimly lit, I didn't have a chance to check out the bathrooms, but I did happen to notice the adult only store a couple doors down to the left of this place. No, I did not check it out therefore no review on the adult store.

You're basically in the front of the dining area. There's no sign to tell you to wait. Finally the hostess came and sat us. It took a while for a server to acknowledge us. But once she took our orders she came back many times to check on us and refill drinks. Very good service. We took advantage of the Tuesday wings deal which is buy one get one 50% off. Wings came out instantly. After ordering , hubby and son went to wash their hands and the wings came out when they got back to the table. The sandwich on the other hand took about 15 minutes. Normally I would have liked if all the food came out at once. But the good thing is that wings don't need to be piping hot. Especially if you have a really hot sauce on them. Hubby got the (10 piece) mango habanero. It's nice and spicy. The spice is mostly on the tongue. I got the (10 piece) Thai curry. It was so delicious. The heat hits you in the the back of the throat. My family is from Trinidad and we eat curry chicken wings all of the time and this brought me back to my childhood. I didn't think it was as Thai tasting as it was West Indian tasting. We also got potato wedges. Those were perfectly crispy and seasoned. Son's saucy chicken sandwich was covered in the jalapeño sauce. A bit too spicy for him (and he's a true heat seeker) so he ate half and saved half for right before bed. The fries were nice and crisp but really salty. This was our first visit here and at the end- one of the workers came out screaming-CAN I HAVE EVERYONES ATTENTION!!!!!!!! She was screaming at the top of her lungs to wish someone a happy birthday which everyone in the restaurant joined in. We all thought it was hilarious. And then my son told me what he initially thought it was. Mind you there was just a school shooting in Nashville and my son has been practicing active shooter drills he thought she was announcing a bomb or something. And I get where he's coming from. It could be triggering. So I just wanted to warn anyone who might have some ptsd.

The service was excellent, especially since we were a party of six and descended on the place unannounced. My wife and I did order pizzas - she ordered the shrimp and artichoke pizza and I ordered the Margarita pizza. She loved her choice and gave it a score of ten out of ten. I gave my Margarita pizza a four out of ten and think that that was generous. My complaints - the crust was quite wimpy, undercooked, and the entire pizza was overpowered by the basal pesto! I have never had basil pesto, or any other pesto, on a pizza! I will give the Recovery Room another chance and will try the Margarita pizza again. But, I will ask for fresh basil and be specific that the pesto is not to contaminate the pizza. My long experience with pizza making is that they must be cooked on a stone and the oven must be 500F or higher to get the crust the way I like it.
