This pizza isn't something I would Usually order but I am glad I did!! It was delicious. Roasted red peppers, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, & black olives. What happened to the pizza from this place? It is terrible now! When it first opened I brought home a great pizza made with fresh hand tossed/stretched dough. I usually make my own pizza at home and I know fresh hand stretched/tossed dough when I see and taste it. Seems like now they are using frozen molded dough that is thick and bread-like. Yuck!!!! Every pizza lover knows that the quality of the pizza dough/crust can make or break a pizza and your change in dough ruined it for me. I will not be back. read more

Always good food and good service. We order monthly at least and have tried many of the items on the menu. They are quick and the menu has a lot to offer for a small pizza place. The only downside is we have had trouble connecting by phone and this is not the first time but the 3rd time in the last year. I've tried this place twice over the past month. First time I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with fries. They give you a ton of fries, but they tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in months. The wrap was okay, at 12.95 it's a decent value. The second time I went I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. As others mentioned, this is a very small "large" pizza. The pizza was probably one of the worst I ever had. It was extremely messy and greasy, the only chance of eating it was with a fork and knife. A friend of mine ranted and raved about how good this place was. She said their garlic bread was the best shes ever had. We decided to meet there on a Friday night for some pizza. We ordered a cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, an eggplant sandwich, and fried raviolis. (We thought we ordered the garlic bread but the waitress didn't hear us). My friend and her kids enjoyed the pizza, sandwich, and mozzarella sticks. However, the fried raviolis were the worst I have ever had. Very chewy, thick pasta, not crispy at all, and the cheese on the inside wasnt even hot or fully melted. Im sure they were frozen. I ate one ravioli and threw the rest away. I cant say the entire menu is bad, but I do not recommend the "fried" ravioli. read more

Food was okay, but didn't match the price. $45 for a "large" pizza (which was more like a small), Caesar salad w/chicken and 10 wings. Pizza was good, not spectacular. Chicken was real, not processed and there was a good amount on the salad. Wings were actually pretty good. Just disappointed with the size of the pizza and the sauce tasted a little too sweet. Husband said it tasted like a premade pizza. May not go back. I'd say 3.5 stars. We tipped $4 so it was a $50 meal and not great. read more

We ordered... - a large (didn't look like a large compared to other pizza places) pepperoni; it was okay. -a small clams casino pizza; it was okay. -spaghetti with meat sauce; was a very large portion but just average. -Buffalo wings: very dried and tough, apparently they must have been cooked previously, left out all day and refried when we ordered them. We had to throw them all out! So disappointing! - Fried calamari; again, extremely tough and chewy; couldn't eat them; had to throw them out too! -French fries; very generous portion, but greasy and tough. Stopped by for lunch restaurant wasn't busy. After about ten minutes waitress came to table to take our order, I ordered a grinder wife ordered a burger. Waitress walked away never asking how the burger should be cooked. Called her back and asked how it would be done and she said " it will be cooked like a burger" ?!? Meals came my wife bit into an overcooked burger and found blue plastic in the meat. It took another five minutes for the waitress to come back which was ridiculous since there wasn't more than eight tables in the restaurant! Stopped in here on a recent house-hunting trip. It seemed rather quiet for a Saturday afternoon, but it was an incredibly tasty and pleasant experience. Great food for value, portions are competitive, quality of food is great, takeout is always fast. Dining in is small, but still doable. Highly recommend the cobb salad, pizza is good for the area, and grinders are a must. Honestly anything chicken based from here never disappoints. Not really sure how you mess up pizza but mine did not taste very good. Plus the girl working there was very short with us/unhelpful. She gave us the wrong pizza at first despite telling her exactly what we had ordered, charged us for that pizza, and then when she finally found our pizza she charged us way more than she had quoted us on the phone because apparently adding 2 toppings was $6 extra which was not mentioned all. Terrible, tasteless pizza. I am in the area for business and I really wanted pizza to watch the NFL Draft tonight. I am sorry I chose this place. I called up and ordered a large cheese pizza - was told it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I arrived after 20 minutes and stood in the tiny eating area for 4 minutes before someone acknowledged me. The pizza finally came out, 29 minutes after ordering... I couldn't believe they consider this a large pizza - it is the size of most mediums and some smalls! I wish I knew how small this thing was going to be so I could have ordered two! Too late, I wasn't going to wait another ~30 minutes for another pizza. I stopped by Subway on the way back to my hotel room so I had enough food. The pizza is absolutely dreadful: tasteless, bland, just absolutely horrible. It tastes like a frozen pizza. The cheese is burnt and there is no tomatoe sauce to be seen. I would rather have spent twice the price and bought a decent-tasting pizza than this piece of junk. This is a great local joint. I've been going here since they opened and have yet to have a bad experience. Only issue is it gets really busy during lunch hours in beach season. But busy is a good thing. This is a local favorite for lunch. The salads are awesome. You can't go wrong w any of the choices from the crispy chicken to the buffalo chicken. They are all fresh and satisfying. If you get a grinder, I recommend the pita bread. Any sandwich on pita is awesome. The chicken bomb and steak and cheese are favs, and the California chicken sandwich is pretty awesome. I'm not a tuna person but a couple of my coworkers love the tuna. No matter your choice, you can't go wrong. The best part and the most important is they love their customers. They take the time to know you and remember your name. Very disappointed this time around. Went for a couple grinders, asked for them to be toasted, they were little to not toasted at all. Only one was to have tomato and you put it on both. Almost looks like the cheese was melted in the microwave. If you were going to cut corners because you were closing in a half hour, you should if said you were closing so I could of gone somewhere else and got what I wanted. Came for lunch on a Monday. Big mistake. Slow service even though not many people here, the pastrami on rye would have been better named a grease sandwich, and they left off one of the toppings in my wife's pizza. I'm from Middletown and whenever I travel to Niantic or Mystic, this place is a must for dinner. They have fair prices and FANTASTIC ingredients. Their burgers are literally the best I've had and the pizza is incredible. The place is slightly cramped with seating but the staff is always so friendly and welcoming that I always feel incredibly comfortable there. Situated perfectly by the book barn(s) too which is convenient :) definitely go here if you want friendly service and a satisfying meal! read more
