I eat lunch at this Wings and Things about five times a year, most recently last week. On this visit, I ordered the lunch chicken wings special - 8 Buffalo wings with a side of fries. I typically order either this special, the grilled chicken sandwich, or the chicken philly sandwich. Yep, always chicken. All of my meals here are fine. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. Sometimes a little bland. The menu is pretty broad, so it's a good place to go with a group of people who want various foods and a very casual, family-friendly atmosphere. The service at Wings and Things is their strong point. It's really good. Everyone there is friendly, attentive, efficient and just all around what you want. A hole in the wall that I will continue visiting! Came here because we had a coupon from Restaurants.com paid $25 for $50 worth of food. Honestly, worth paying full price! It is truly a hole in the wall located off griffin in a dead/run down plaza. The place has carpet, wooden chairs, and is smaller than expected but the food speaks levels! The mozzarella sticks are amazing!!! This is my go to app and can't say I've had better than these. They are so fresh and cheesssssssy!!! The cheese actually strings out (like life intended them to do). The curly fries are pretty good, for some reason we found our-self's feeling "less guilty" while eating the fried food and it's because they change the oil more frequently than other places do so the food doesn't drip down your fingers. We had the lemon pepper, medium and hot wings and must say they are defiantly top 5 best wings. (Not THEE best, but defiantly up there). I ordered a side of Mac and Cheese and did not think they were all that, so I would pass on that plate, but as for everything else...go for it!!! I ordered take out from this place and didn't come away loving it. The wings were average (at best) and the curly fries weren't great. I also thought that since there was no charge for the curly fries seasoning, that they would either ask me if I wanted it on the fries or put the seasoning in a container. Neither one of these occurred. The woman at the register was friendly enough and seeing as how they were getting ready to close, that's not always easy to pull off. I was disappointed in the wings since this place received pretty good reviews and wtih a name like "Wings and Things", you would expect them to have really good wings. Not the case. This place is called Wings and Things, so I surprised when my wings were overcooked and dry, and they were not a bargain either. My son did not finish his pulled pork sandwich (he did not like the taste), but he ordered pork at a wings place, so it isn't a mystery. We received curly fries with our orders, but one order was golden brown and crisp, the other was pale white... I feel there may be some quality control issues at this establishment. I accidently ordered the lunch special while using a "restuarant.com" coupon. so they graciouly adjusted the bill and gave me a couple of more wings. I love wings! Hot, spicy, buffalo-style wings. With curly fries. And a soda. There are a lot of places around Davie to get wings, but nothing comes close to Wings 'n Things. The wings are crispy, perfectly sauced. No breading here. They've got cheese sauce for the curly fries which just makes the meal. Add some beer or soda and a giant screen TV and you're good to go. I came in this Friday night. I never make reviews but I thought this was a little crazy. I had a server name Kim. I had to ask her name from another server. This server took my order and never came back until we were almost done eating. I had other staff, bring me my food and I had to ask another waitress to get me a refill.
