    two pieces of fried chicken
    Daniel M.

Updated 9/18/19: something has changed with the boneless wings. They are NOT good. It's like a poorly breaded chicken breast, fried, and then diced into bite size pieces. I will not be eating these anymore unless something happens. I love wings to go. The boneless are great. The traditional are great if I get them extra crispy. I don't really like a soggy wing. The numerous flavors are all pretty great too, buffalo garlic is my current fav. Honestly, I prefer W2Go over its neighbor (crickets) lately. They have it on point right now!

10 piece combo with cheese fries

Ever since my favorite chicken wings restaurant closed down in Huntsville I have been looking for a new place close by to get some good wings. Wings to Go has been a good place to fill my chicken wing craving. There wings are pretty crispy and overall I'd say they are average but always consistent so I know I can count on them for some good wings. The only downside about the wings is that sometimes they can vary in size and be pretty small. The fries that come with them are always very crispy and really good topped with shredded cheese. They don't have table service so you go up to the counter to order and they never have a long line. I never have to wait long to place my order and the longest I have ever had to wait was around 8 minutes when the place had a decent amount of traffic during a lunch. When going in to eat for lunch the prices are very good. I usually order the 10 wings combo that comes with an order of fries and a drink for about $9. Overall I'd say this is a good place to stop in and eat some good priced wings for lunch.

I've never been disappointed by their boneless wings (haven't personally tried the traditional, but my friends keep coming back for some reason?).

The food was fantastic but be prepared for the seating situation, we weren't…read more First off, this is a very popular local place and it will likely be packed. There isn't a hostess so it's a "wait till a table opens and go sit at it even if it hasn't been bussed" type of place. Once you sit they'll bus the table though so don't worry, you don't have to eat the leftovers. The wings are phenomenal. Hands down the best I've ever had. The mild wasn't too spicy and had a great flavor and the Gold were super sweet and smoky with a little tang. The fries aren't anything to write home about as a side, but the teaser appetizer that has the cheese and bacon fries definitely was. The bacon is fresh and crispy and the fried apps on it are really crunchy and the oil tastes very clean and not reused a lot. The place was a -little- dirty in certain areas like the back wall where we sat and the bathroom, but it wasn't overall disgusting or a health violation, just could've used a little tlc. Overall, will definitely be back. Get the wings. They truly are the best.

I saw Cricket's featured in a food magazine, so I asked my friend who lives in that area and he…read moresaid he hasn't been there in years, so I made it a point to go when I visited him. Cricket's is a Madison staple and walking in, they have history all along their walls. I had to order the Honey Gold sauce, which was basically a cross between honey mustard and Carolina Gold barbecue sauce. I quite liked the sauce, but after a while the tanginess kind of sits in your throat. The wings and fries came out piping hot right out of the frier so that was great. The wings were a bit on the small side and the fries were pretty plain, but the wings had a nice crunch and the fresh-from-the-frier heat helped. The single piece of celery was tacky but the bleu cheese sauce was nice and thick. Overall I can see why Cricket's is a hometown favorite, though I've had better wings and fries.

I recently tried Lost Pizza Co. in Madison and was pleasantly surprised by the experience…read more Originally started in Mississippi, Lost Pizza Co. has grown into a regional chain with around 30 locations across the South. I ordered takeout online through Toast, which made the whole process incredibly easy. I was able to use Apple Pay and customize my pizzas without any hassle. My order was ready for pickup in about 30 minutes, and picking it up at the counter was quick and convenient. From the outside, the restaurant is an unassuming storefront in a strip mall, but the inside is anything but ordinary. It's packed with character, with lots of antiques, neon lights, and unique decor that give the space a fun, funky vibe. There's also plenty of seating if you want to dine in. For the food, I ordered a pizza split between the Beekeeper and the Kujo on thin crust, along with an order of cheesy bread. Everything was delicious! I'd definitely go back and am looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

I ordered the thin crust "Beekeeper" and my wife built her own. We also tried the cheese sticks. Got our drinks and grabbed a seat. Plenty of TVs and nice music, sort of a sports bar type feel. Cheese sticks came out first. Thicker crust. Lots of melted cheese and garlic. Served with a warm marinara. These were excellent. Had the marinara been dappled on top I would have called this a great "grandma" pie! Pizza came out fairly quickly. Not super thin, but a light cracker type crust. Cupping pepperoni was crisp and flavorful. Cheese was smooth and rich. Honey drizzle gave a hint of sweet. Basil should have been placed after the cook but was still good. Undercarriage was a little light but still crisp. My wife got the Alfredo base with pepperoni and pineapple. Her words "I have found my new favorite pizza place!" Pizza felt like a Bar style. Both pizzas were great, this time we made sure to get a medium. Overall excellent meal! Will be back!
