AMBIANCE: 4 STARS The restaurant was clean and the decor simple, but fun and cute. FOOD: 3 STARS The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They were served hot and that was great. The chicken was where it fell apart for me. The lemon pepper was blah. I didn't even taste lemon pepper seasoning. The worst batch I have ever had at any wing stop restaurant. The jamaican jerk wings were decent. I did appreciate the island flavor, but nothing exciting. Overall it was an ok experience. I probably wouldn't visit this location again. I expect more from wing stop when it comes to chicken. I wasn't happy with the food, but the customer service was exceptional. I do wish they would have put some napkins or silverware in my bag. As I travel, I use YELP often! This afternoon, was no different. When I saw Wingstop, I thought that was where I wanted to go (it sounded good!). I started reading the YELP reviews, and to be honest, they are not that good!! I drove to the restaurant, and from the parking lot, it looked clean, so I gave it a try. Once inside, the service was 2nd to none. Very helpful and answered all my questions. I had 10 original wings, half Original Hot and half Cajun. I also had fries, WOW!! They were hot and delicious. The carrots and celery with ranch was on point too!! Not often enough do I ask to speak to the manager, but I did tonight. We've tried them 2 times and never again. First time we got it to-go and it was fair-not good, just fair. We thought maybe it would be better if we dined in. It was worse. It took 40 minutes to prepare our order even though there were only 2 orders ahead of ours. We ordered the 2 person bone in meal with spicy original sauce. The wings were dry as a bone and not even hot. The fries were hot but greasy and limp. I had a feeling things were not gonna be good when we walked in and I saw the entire "staff" was 2 teen boys. No supervisor or shift manager to be seen. I'm sure the food was good enough for them but it was not worth my time or the $26 it cost. Had a mess up on my wings last night from the night shift even after we left a 20% tip so I came in the next morning (today) and this wonderful and completely nice and understanding man named Robert fixed my order and made me feel like I was important like he was going to make sure I was taken care of and he did and my voodoo fries looked beautiful and had a cool design on them and everything. I highly recommend going during the day and asking for Robert!! I heard he's trying to become a manager and I 1,000% believe he should be one. I have always loved Wingstop, but this location is well below par. Today was our 2nd attempt and it actually was worse. First, the wings were around 50% coated. Even though we requested extra crispy fries, they were still under cooked. I called in for carry out got there 45 minutes later and was told at first they didn't remember the name on my order couldn't find it then said they vaguely remembered handing it out 10 to 15 minutes prior. Wasn't greeted for like 10 minutes, took another 10 minutes to take my order an then waited close to 40 minutes for my order. I went to wing stop expecting a good dining experience but it was not good. First time the wings weren't coated properly. Second time I went back it took a very long time to receive my order plus two employees were having a bad argument between themselves which was very unprofessional. Easily takes 45 minutes for your order to be completed even if there is no one in the lobby. Also ordered the same thing for 3 months straight and all the sudden you aren't allowed to sprinkle lemon pepper on the mild sauce; EVEN when I offered to pay 3 dollars extra. This Wingstop has the driest wings ever. Both attempts to try this location they've been so dry with little to no sauce on the wings. The fries are soggy as well. But I will say the employees are super friendly I just do not believe the cooks know how to cook. I hope there are some changes because I know I am not the only one with this experience.
