What happened to this place? When I ordered online it said my order would be ready in 9 minutes. When I got there in 15 minutes, my food wasn't ready. I asked if I could make my drinks while I waited and they said I could so I grabbed two cups as the guy behind the counter proceeded to hand me two more cups. I told him I just grabbed two cups. When I went to the drink station, it was a mess. There was all kinds of drink splatters everywhere and the machine was out of ice. I had to ask for ice and wait while they filled it. There was all kinds of garbage at the straw station including a chip bag. They do t even serve chips. I asked for a drink carrier and the guy behind the counter grabbed one and wrestled with it and could not figure it out so he just handed it to me after he ripped the bottom of it. Now, let's get to the food. The fries were way over cooked. I think they may have microwaved the wings because parts of them were very hot and other parts were cold. I dont know how long they have been open at this location. From reading the reviews I hesitated for all these years. Finally decided to give them a chance. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I have no complaints about my order. I ordered 15 traditional (non combo) with Korean BBQ and lemon pepper. Well done. I love their Korean BBQ. Lemon pepper is ok. The sauces and rub were not too over bearing, crispy on the outside, just the way I enjoy wings. I was super excited when I saw a wing stop opening up in this area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location isn't that big but definitely not small to the point where you can't stop in and eat. They have tables and chairs for you to fine in if you choose. The location is off a main road and located in a small strip mall. Parking is tight out front for this location but can be limited depending on the traffic at the other business near by. My food was fixed within a reasonable amount of time with no considerable wait. The wings were cooked to perfection and had a nice taste. The fries were very yummy and have always been some of my favorites so no complaints there. Portion sizes are pretty big and you definitely can get away with sharing items. I'm glad to see this establishment being opened and I'm sure that it will stick around for awhile. read more

I revised from 3 stars to 4 as the manager reached out to address my concerns. I tried again and everything went as planned. This team works hard but not efficiently. With such a simple menu things should not be as they are. 1st. Food was great better than the 3 stars. 2nd it took 10 minutes to talk with me and that was because I grabbed the person trying to take a break. My order said it was ready for 10 minutes but it was not in the completed shelf. 3rd I received my order once I had someone's attention but a fell 5 piece wing was missing. 4th. Ouch. I called to fix this twice . I was on hold for ten minutes twice and no one answered. 5th I tried to send a message on this. Only time will tell if we get credit due. I would have given 2 stars but I know the 3 guys working were doing all they can. I think they need some coaching on how to complete tasks faster. A bit curious that this store will only account for an error in exchange for yet another order. What if they get that one wrong too? Although they gave me little to go on, I believe the source of our issue is twofold: their inability to count, and their attempt to work smarter, not harder, by packing multiple orders into a single box...but in their case they left out the "smarter" bit. We ordered Tenders and fries 4/9/23 online cost of $38.00 for family of 6 at the Gurnee IL. Wing Stop. Husband went to pick up order at the Gurnee restaurant. He stood there several minutes before anyone walked up to counter. Said he was there to pick up our order, gave order #, guy behind counter said he didn't have our order. Husband said well you have already taken it out of our bank account so someone either gives us our money back or fill our order. Finally the "Manager" came up, situation was explained to him. Manager said someone already picked up our order. Husband told him, no, we had not picked up our order. I have had two issues with this location: one time they refused to pick up the phone, so I had to place my order online instead of calling it in. Another time, my fries were super cold, like they had been sitting out all day. Now, I do not leave until I check my food. She started yelling at him from the back office then eventually came to the front to interrupt him helping us to tell him what he was doing "wrong". I drive for Doordash, I've been filling the drinks for them for every order for so long. Today I went in and he's sitting on his phone in the back. He takes like a whole minute to come to me even after making eye contact with me and came with a bad attitude then told me the drinks I needed to make for the order. Last time I ordered from their app and arrived a little early, they hadn't made my order yet. Then I see them just reheating old wings and fries for my order. Their boneless wings are bland and dry even with seasonings or sauce. Their fries are stale and soggy. And the clincher is that while the guy was cooking and handling my food, I watched him spit into the garbage cans at least three times like he was chewing tobacco while handing customer's food!
