I had the worst customer service ever here. We called ahead like we usually do & it just kept ringing with no answer & that went on for the first couple of calls. Then, they finally answered & put me on hold, that lasted about 10 minutes & no one got to my phone call so I hung up & kept trying to call but no answer. I physically get to wing stop so I ask if something is going on with the phones only to see that the phone was left off so no wonder no one answered. I let them know & the employee just shrugged & didn't even apologize & when I asked how long it would take if I ordered they said it would take about 25 min. Which is exactly what I wanted to avoid by calling ahead of time. Wing stop should seriously reconsider who they hire. I never even bother writing reviews but this was ridiculous & my family & I will not be supporting this business any more. read more

I love wingstop but the imperial beach location sucks! Ive had many wrong orders and today's meal just ruined my dinner. I ordered at 3:51 pm got there at 4:09pm payed and the guy said my wings were still cooking. I didnt get my order till 4:30. I get hm the wings are cold and the fries are cold as well. I live only 4 mins away. 10 out of the 20 the chicken wings was either fried, left out and refried another 2 times because they were almost black. The texture of those wings were nasty and it felt like you were eating tuna. I would say these wings were going bad already. It sucks they serve food like this and ruin peoples dinner. read more

I like their food but this place can be a disaster for service. On multiple occasions, I've placed an online order and been told it will be ready in 15-20 minutes and then have had to wait about an hour for my food. As best I can tell, they just can't handle multiple orders at once. I'm not sure if they don't keep enough people on staff or just don't have good processes. I've been waiting when they don't look that busy but the food took forever. Right now, I've been waiting around 50 minutes and the guy next to me has been waiting 40 minutes. There are several other annoyed looking people waiting too. If I hadn't already paid, I'd leave and go get food somewhere else. The food is good, the place is clean but the service is horrible. I usually order my food ahead of time so that I don't have to wait the 20 or so minutes it takes to prepare the food. I recently ordered my food through the app and received a confirmation email that my food would be ready before 7pm and I ordered my food about 6:30pm. I asked my boyfriend to pick up my order on the way home and they initially told him the order wasn't there. He went back inside and showed them the copy of the confirmation that I forwarded to him and they found the order that they NEVER started and my boyfriend arrived after 7:10pm. He had to wait the 20 mins it takes them to prepare the food. They obviously didn't read the ticket because they didn't give him the right size cup for my drink. I understand certain establishments get busy but a simple apology for the delay would have made everything better. As much as I like their wings, we will not be returning to this location. read more

Went in today for some wings and while the food was good, the music was some of the most unprofessional I've ever heard in a restaurant. Instead of eating in, I sent my little daughter to the vehicle and got my food to go. I enjoy my share of diverse music while I'm at the gym or beyond the ears of my children; wing stop apparently thinks it's okay to blast lyrics about being horny and f%^*ing bit$&es, licking pu55y, and multiple other quality restaurant dining things.....I typically enjoy that type of music when I eat The last song that had the N word every other lyric was the end for me. The two stars are for their obviously overworked staff, who tried their best and had good customer service. This was my second time at Wingstop and I ordered online at 420. I got my food at 510, after it had been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes because the orders were backed up and all employees were preparing food. Needless to say, my fries and wings were cold. We've eaten here twice. Both times we ordered online and picked up within 20 minutes or so. The restaurant is clean and service is friendly. Our food has been cooked well (no overdried meats, too fried or soggy wings, etc) and it is delicious. We order traditional buffalo wings and fries with cheese sauce (cheese sauce is sooooo good!) I also appreciate the various size of wings and combos available at Wingstop, and the ability to split a combo. The last time we order a 10piece combo (6 hot and 4 mild) all flats, with fries and cheese sauce. There werent any mistakes in our order, and the wings were separated in the box. lastly their soda fountain is awesome! My only gripe is it is kinda expensive compared to other places. My husband and I showed up to the store at 11:00pm to discover that both doors had been locked when the sticker with the hour times clearly states midnight. The two male employees were standing behind the cash register when one waved at us as the other gestured with his finger "no". We felt as if they were taunting us. I'm always greeted with a fun attitude. I didn't even know this Wingstop existed till one of my friends said we should get (a late) dinner from here. Ivan was my cashier when we went and made my food as well and I feel like he went above and beyond with his customer service and the preparation of my food. He took all precautions during this covid pandemic. I was skeptical about going in late ( it was 10:30 ) because I know late nights may not be the freshest food, but nope. The first time there was only guy working, and he was working very hard (as it was packed), so I understood there was only so much he could do. The second visit I was one of the first to show up around 11:30, places my order and was told "it would be 10 minutes". at around 12:00 I asked about my order- they said they were taking care of it. Customer service was trash. They didnt even realize that my order was ready even though I was standing in the front of the store waiting, with my name in the queue. Brianna was the on shift manager and did nothing for me as a new customer. Allowed me to pay full price for wings without adding any upgrades or reducing price to keep me as customer even though I didnt want the "sides" (carrots, celery) and didnt wany any drinks. The place was super busy at this so being told it was going to be about a 25 min wait. No big deal. Sat there for almost an hour watched 6 people that came in after me get their food and leave. When I got up to ask about my order the person I spoke to informed me they were out of tenders and told me the person that took my order was apparently supposed to tell me that. Who by this point was no longer in the restaurant. When I asked for a refund and it seem like the person I was speaking to either didn't know how or wasn't able to.
