New Wingstop at the Marketplace. I ordered the 10 piece combo. My flavors were Cajun and Sweet Chili Glaze. The wings were really good. My favorite were the Cajun. I usually enjoy Wingstop, but this experience was horrible. I ordered the Original Hot wings on 9/1. While eating, I immediately noticed the taste was a bit "off." Unfortunately, around 3:00 a.m. that night I woke up with severe food poisoning symptoms. The next day I had to go into work because of an important meeting, and I could barely get through it. I ended up leaving early because I was so sick. I am absolutely certain it was from the wings, as nothing else I ate that day caused issues. This was by far the worst foodborne illness I've experienced, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'll be reporting this incident to the OC Health Agency to make sure it's looked into. I'm actually writing this review from bed, drinking coconut water, because I haven't been able to keep anything else down all day. I'm miserable. Food safety should be the number one priority, and I sincerely hope this location takes corrective action to prevent this from happening to others. read more

It was my lunch time, was very hungry and so I know Wingstop never fails. Came in around 8pm not too busy, was greeted right away, food came out accordingly. Place was well kept and clean. This location is not off to a good start. My husband and I order Wingstop pretty regularly. We were excited to get a location down the street from our house. We placed an order and picked it up, didn't think to check the order as we have never had a problem ordering from Wingstop. We were missing half of our order. I called and asked the cashier if they could please remake the whole order and we would return what we picked up, because the food we currently had would be cold by the time we drove back and picked up the missing food. She was very rude and told me if I wanted the whole order remake I would have to wait 45 minutes. I kindly asked if they could put my order ahead since it was their mistake and she said no, I would have to wait. I waited and returned all the food we picked up. Our new batch of food had SUPER small chicken - I'm talking like mini popcorn sized bites of chicken. I feel like she did this purposely because I asked for the order to be remade. Like I said, we order from Wingstop frequently and the boneless chicken are never that tiny. Will not be returning to this location even though it is closest to home. My last order of 20 for $20 was two thumbs down I must say. This Barranca Irvine location has been our go to spot for years now but this last order was a major disappointment. We ordered Louisiana Rub and Lakers Legendary Garlic. Both bone-in wings were undercooked, as in barely golden and so definitely not crispy, AND under seasoned! The meal was so lackluster and really underwhelming. To add to this, I ordered online and when I came to pick up my order wasn't ready within the time frame stated. I wish l for asked names. I had an awful experience with the staff here on the phone and in person. They put us on hold for at least 5-6 min with no reason why. We came in the store to see no one was in there like maybe 2 tables and no line at all. Wasn't a reason to be put on hold for so long. They took our order but was stopping to talk with co workers before proceeding with our order. We took a survey on the receipt (which I have done before at the Santa Ana location) and the lady told us we had to wait 24 hours for some fries ?? But at the Santa Ana location they offered it to us same day. So I'm confused, the staff here was not helpful nor was very nice at all. Honestly super disappointed. Picture this, you're out at night and you need somewhere to grab some food and need to use the restroom. Well, tout simplement, Wingstop is NOT the place for you. Don't get me wrong, I got a 15pc combo and the wings were fantastic. But the bathroom closed at 10pm LITERALLY WHEN THE RESTAURANT CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT. AITA? The hell am I supposed to do if I want to take a piss but the bathroom is locked two whole god damn hours before the restaurant itself closes? What is the thought I have? The atmosphere gives a lazy boned staff who close the bathroom just to avoid cleaning it! Sure I'd understand if it were 30 minutes or so prior to closing, but 2 hours? Man! No hints needed that the assigned worker doesn't want to clean no toilet. Am I crashing out? Maybe not, why? Well some other dude JUST walked out of the bathroom, and now I can't use it, I can't use the bathroom thats VACANT. Am I getting mad that a minimum wage worker closed the bathroom early- a LONG period of time before they closed? Hell Yeah! In this service based economy, GOD FORBID I USE THE RESTROOM IN A WINGSTOP. I respect and appreciate the hard workers of America, but do I seriously need to work hard just to use the restroom and perform my natural function? Am I expected to paint the floor yellow? Wingstop is always a 10/10 but this one has probably one of the best staff I've seen in a while. Friendly staff all waiting to greet you and help you. The seating inside isn't very big, but there's so many outside spots to sit at and enjoy as well. The food is always delicious, fresh and made to order as I've taken this home many times and feels like it just came out of the store, even after 20 minutes. I would definitely go more often after work to pick up an order as the service can't be beat. The parking lot around it is a bit of a mess, but not too difficult to navigate if you don't mind parking a bit further, as the "pick-up" only spots get taken very quickly by those who definitely are not just picking up but are too lazy to walk. Plus I don't trust most drivers going down that small parking row to not hit you or just park behind you making it harder to get out. That aside, the food and service can't be beat! read more
