Tried some Korean fried chicken here, really enjoyed the coating they put on the chicken. It was very crispy and light. They also give you give some radish on the side which was a great pallet cleanser. My go to flavor is soy garlic which i believe is one of their best flavors, has a light sweetness to it. First time trying the original flavor, it still has that great crunch personally I like saucy wings so I would get a dip on the side next time. My wife really loves this place. I think it is fine but not amazing. The chicken is usually well cooked. Nice and crispy outside and tender inside, and not too oily. I don't know whether it's definitely better than, say, Raising Cane... One thing I don't like is that there's no way to order just white meat. I think most Koreans don't care about the difference, but some of us do ... Why not allow us to choose? read more

Always satisfies our fried chicken cravings! Service is on the slower side bc so many people are ordering takeout and they are a bit understaffed, but they are kind regardless. Lots of parking in front. Recently tried a new recommendation (calamari tteokbokki) and I think it'll be a new go-to for me! We ordered: - calamari tteokbokki: HIGHLY recommend. I love the spicy original, it's always satisfying my fried chicken craving with a crispy outside and juicy interior. The spicy kick is great and flavorful, no additional sauces needed. - The fries were perfect. Crispy on the outside, hot, and the potato was soft on the inside. They were on the saltier side, but I enjoy it extra salty. - I wish they came with some other sides besides the radish for sit down orders. Did a walk in from H-Mart for some protein to eat with the banchan that we got from the store. The wait is about 20mins. but I think its worth the wait. We got the Soy Garlic chicken wings, large portion and we were able to feed 4 adults and 1 kid with it. It was the perfect late night eat with movies. Whenever i crave Korean fried chicken, BBQ chicken is my go to spot, especially this location in Irvine. I ordered the large wings that comes with 24. I suggest you allow customers to have two different flavors with 12 + 12 or three different flavors with 8 + 8 + 8. The server Kihoon said you can only get different flavors when you order the medium wings that comes with 16. He doesn't know why you can't have different flavors with the large order. Also they have huge patio for outdoor dining. Everything was super clean and the servers seemed to follow COVID-19 rules well with all masks and gloves. Servers were very nice. This is a solid choice with very good value at the Hmart food court. The food is not something…read moreamazing, but it's fast and cheap. I had the pork katsu and it was quite good -- crispy crust with still pretty tender pork fillet and not greasy at all. And the cabbage salad and banchan were pretty good too. My friend had the seafood noodles and said it was a little bland ... But I think that's kinda the genre of that dish. They also have some premade sushi. Nothing amazing, but cheap. Pro tip: even if you get your food from one of the other kiosks get your drink here. Everyone else charges $2 for a soda or water and this place charges $1.
