I have been a fan of Wingstop for about 20 years and was thrilled when one opened here in Springfield. The original owners did a fantastic job, and I was happy to see someone reopened it after the fire. Unfortunately, it no longer lives up to its previous reputation. There is never enough seasoning, and the order I got last night barely had any. The chicken strips have also changed from a crispy, crunchy exterior to what is now more of a soft breading. Finally, there is an option on DoorDash to have fries and chicken cooked longer, but not once has this been followed since the reopening. As another said, fries are always disappointing as well due to being soft-cooked and under-seasoned. Sadly, I now will only be enjoying Wingstop when I travel outside of Springfield. read more

I think they forgot to add the garlic to my Garlic Parmesan wings tonight. Very disappointing. But other than that, all was good.

I was all excited, as I recently moved into town from Colorado and didn't realize this place was here. I had always had good experiences in Colorado with Wingstop and was looking forward to eating there again. Unfortunately....not so good. The girl who rung us up was very nice and gave good recommendations, but that was where the positives stopped. It took almost 45 minutes to get two medium combos of bone-in wings and fries. The store was dirty, most of the tables having sauce and salt smeared all over them despite the fact no one was in the restaurant when we came in or most of the time we sat there. The soda machine was watery and pretty gross. The food itself was eh. The wings were overly salty and overcooked. The fries were pretty good, no complaints there. So the weekend of Super Bowl 2019 my husband and I went here to eat... the music was BLARING some gangster rap where the employees had to speak loudly to everyone. Went and ordered and asked for coleslaw and WS supposedly did away with their coleslaw (WTF‍)!?! Food came and I was excited because WS has always been good wherever I've gone. This time not only was ambience HORRIBLE but so was the food!!! The wings were extremely SALTY and could hardly taste the lemon pepper. They forgot our celery and carrot sticks, so I had to ask for them and the fries.... THE FRIES WERE TERRIBLE!!! They seasoned them with something I've never tasted at WS b4.... it was a salt and sugar mix! I think someone might have mixed up some containers when refilling the salt. 1st time in. Afternoon visit not busy. 2 guys cooking 3 people waiting at counter for orders. Very loud music and TV. Did welcome me in, did tell me special I ordered the 10 pcs boneless 1/2 hickory smk bbq 1/2 Louisiana rub. Fries and a drink. When I got my order the bbq wings were just slopped in sauce. The Louisiana wings were dry. The fries were enough for 3 ppl and just over coated in seasoning salt and salt to much to eat. Had to shake off fries to eat. Asked for ketchup and mustard they gave me packed ketchup and honey mustard. No napkins in store or paper towels The wings were dry and sloppy the rub was WAY to salty. The fries were disgusting. Not one time did either worker come out to see how we were doing. Table next to me has been empty now for 1hr and 20 mins and still has all the trash on it. Nobody cleans off tables during downtime. Stand in kitchen that's behind plate glass window playing on cell phone. Price was about right, but could of got better food and tastier food from Buffalo Wild Wings. Absolutely horrible experience this last time. I was a big fan of Wingstop. They were on the pricier side but I don't mind paying for it when I get good food and what I ordered. Unfortunately I didn't get my food as I ordered and paid for. No cheese for CHEESE FRIES, and they gave me the wrong veggies which is kinda a deal when youve got 2 kids that won't eat one. I called to let the manager know and not once did she say sorry. She spoke very matter of factly saying all she could offer is I come back to pick up the new food... Or 10% my next visit. 10% doesnt cover 1 of the items being wrong. So let me get this right.. Wingstop screws up and I have to drive across town again to fix their mess up when I have hungry kids? Then return home with the rest of the food being cold? How does that even make sense to say to someone OR give Wingstop more money after eating the money I paid for items I did not receive to maybe get what I ordered and it be good? Also unfortunate I called upon unpacking the order and not eating myself.. the wings we're so dry and overcooked. Everything tasted of salt. Poorly handled. The items I didn't receive should have been credited back to my card or put on the books to receive them the next time I come, in full, not 10%. No one should pay for things for nothing. I've always had great experiences with wingstop in college and was so excited when they opened one here! I love their fries and wings and their ranch makes everything even better. When they first opened, they were slow, service wasn't friendly and food did not taste up to its usual standard. I figured it was just it getting started up. I waited a while to go back and have gone twice this past month. The first time, I ordered online and went to pick up my food. It was not ready and there was only one worker in the whole restaurant that seemed to be doing anything out of the 7+ people working there. I waited for 45 minutes - from the time it was supposed to be ready for pick up. I saw a total of 2 small orders go out with door dash in the first 35 mins. I got an order of fries, 6 piece of honey bbq and 2 things of ranch. They didn't give me a whole order of fries and gave the tiniest pieces of chicken compared to what I would normally get. I decided to give it another chance and ordered from door dash. It took an hour to receive it (door dash apologized about how slow wingstop's service was). I ordered a large fry to share, a 6 piece of bbq wing, and two sides of ranch. The fries were dry and tasteless as they put no seasoning on the fries and did not put ranch with my order. This place always manages to mess something up and the people there do not care and have zero work ethic. I had never had a bad experience until I went to this location - where I've only had bad experiences. Do not waste your money going here. read more

DO NOT EVER USE YOUR DEBIT CARD AT THIS LOCATION!!! Purchased an order online 7/10 with my debit card. My account was charged for the same order 3 times. Was put on a goose chase trying to get 2 of the overcharges returned. Contacted the restaurant, was told gen manager would need to take care of, cb next day. Called back gave gen manager all the information and was told all info given to to owner and would be reversed. that has been 6 days and have heard nothing back from anyone. After 3 phone calls and no return call, can assume Wingstop ripped me off of over $120. If I were you, do order on line. Go to the location and order there where you can dispute then.
