Love the wings here. These guys are ALWAYS busy. Yet they always create a great meal everytime I order from these guys. While there are still CoVid restrictions, it is a must that you pre order online or over the phone.(carry-out only) Walk-ins will have to wait 35-45 minutes. Not bad but we have the worst wing places in town. This one being the best of the bunch. I ordered online without difficulty & service was fast & friendly. I wish they had more sauce varieties though. Mango habanero, hot, & garlic were delicious without being too spicy. Being from Southern NM the wings weren't spicy at all actually, even my 12 year old taught they were pretty mild. Next time I crave wings this will be the "go to". read more

Ordered carryout of 15 boneless in mild and BBQ. They gave me my wings and they gave me garlic parm and BBQ by mistake. They swapped out the mild for parm without gloves, which wasn't hygienic. Got home and started eating: both the mild and BBQ were too spicy for my wife (who doesn't like spicy) and fairly spicy for me (spicy goer). She couldn't eat her portion due to heat level. There weren't other options for milder sauces with BBQ or standard mild buffalo. Also, breading was overpowering and chicken was fatty. A BETTER THAN AVERAGE CHICKEN WING PLACE The Wingstop in a little plaza at the corner of Solano and Missouri is larger than it appears from the front. Inside there are around fifteen tables, a few by the front windows and the rest down the side of the restaurant. This is not a full-serve restaurant; order at the counter and wait til your order is ready. There is no tipping which will appeal to those who don't like BWW. Straws, salt packets, paper towels, etc, are on the counter. The restaurant is generally clean and well managed. The service at the counter is generally friendly and polite, but not the most professional. When my name was called to pick up my order, the food was simply left on the counter, no greeting, no one to ask if I needed anything etc. Quite amateurish. I'm old school and the way I see it a more considerate attitude would go a long way. Also, in the several visits I've made, the food prep seems to take a while....often fifteen or twenty minutes. The takeout folks call ahead. In the past I've ordered the BBQ wings with the sauce just slopped over them and dripping off. These wings were ok, but nothing special. The fries were pretty decent with a nice seasoning and they were not greasy. I also sampled most recently their WINGS WITH TERIYAKI SAUCE and their GARLIC and PARMESAN WINGS. The wings were fairly meaty and juicy. The garlic and parm wings were a bit dry but they were good. The teriyaki wings were wet but had a good flavor. All-in-all, these were pretty good wings. Enjoyable experience if you like wings. What to expect if you go: A casual but nice atmosphere for dining, counter service that is friendly but amateurish, prep times that are a little on the long side, reasonable prices, and pretty good wings. I have to say a year ago I visited the place and it was awfully disgusting. I went tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely helpful and exceeded the definition of customer service for a minimum wage position. They also seemed happy at their work place, not terrible miserable like in most positions. It was also so very clean! Not even a particle of dust on the lamps. I'm a bit of a neat freak, and when I see that, I'm a happy camper. Also, they were running a bit behind on my order, not only did they add extra wings but they made sure I was comfortable while I waited ( They weren't even that behind either. ) The wings were good and not dripping in grease like the last time I visited. I usually find Wingstop to be fairly decent and love their mango habanero wings. However, my last trip there was a MAJOR letdown! We placed an online order for pick up and ordered boneless lemon pepper and they were so disgusting we had to throw them away. Too much breading used and the breading was over-salted and even worse (I didn't think it could get much worse) chicken undercooked! I have never ordered boneless here before and will never again. I hope the cook was just having an off night and this doesn't become a routine. At least the fries were done right so not all was a loss. read more
