Went in to eat with my family we ordered traditional wings and we had just sat down waited for our food and it was ready in 5-7 minutes after ordering when I took the first bite I noticed the inside was raw pink and mind you I'm pregnant its not safe for me to eat raw meat . On 5/30 I visited this location and the cashier proceeded to give me an incomplete order. I mentioned to her that she shorted me a fry and a vegetable plate. She then brought me 2 fries and when I asked her to swap it out she told me I had to pay for the additional tray of fries. I then asked if she could swap it out and she did, but proceeded to throw the vegetables on the counter instead of placing them on the tray. So I took my food and tossed the tray back on the counter as it angered me. She then proceeded to yell and tell me I had to leave the store and said she. Would call security and escalated this issue. I then asked security to call the police. This woman had my 6 year old granddaughter crying because of the issue. Needless to say the cops mentioned I could not come back to that location. All due to a young register girl that knows nothing about customer service and neglected to pay attention to what I asked for! The manager then got involved when I was on the way out and knew nothing about what his employee had done.I've been going to this location for years and this crew may be new. Service is horrible! We placed an online order and waited about 30 minutes before picking up the order. The parking lot was full so I waited in the car while my boyfriend (who is black) went inside to pick up the order. 3 employees were in the back, & about 15 ppl were waiting to either pick up or place an order. When the older employee that was there, APRIL 20 AT 9pm, finally came to tend to the customers, he called out a few names of orders in his hand. My boyfriend waited and then approached and let him know he was there for a pick-up and gave the name on the order. The man looked at him and told him he needed to get in the "order line," even though he had already waited in the "pick-up line." They argued back n forth which took longer than it would have taken for the employee to turn around and hand over the order. The conversation ended with my boyfriend telling him he could keep the order and walked out the restaurant. I then went in to see if I could get the order (as it had already been about an hour from when the food was ordered and I was very hungry) I simply walked in, went to the front counter, did not wait in any line, and asked the Hispanic older man for the exact same order. He asked me to wait for him to finish with the gentleman he was handling and immediately dealt with me. I asked for the food, and he turned around and handed it to me without any issues. He actually called me back because I forgot to grab the drink from the order. How can someone be so pressed about which line a person is standing in one minute and completely unconcerned that someone just walked through the door bypassed any line and interrupted a conversation to pick up their order the next second? After all that, the food was cold, there wasn't enough sauce on the chicken, and we were SHORTED ON THE ORDER. I can only assume the difference between my boyfriend asking for the order and me (Hispanic) asking was the color of our skin! I will NEVER be ordering from this location AGAIN! Everybody has off days. I have 'em, you have 'em, the Winston Plaza WingStop has 'em. Nobody's perfect, but that's what second and third chances are for. Knowing full well that I could get my boneless wing fix (okay, obsession) satiated, I stopped in for lunch on a Monday, hoping to see the familiar face of a certain employee. Unfortunately she wasn't in, which meant I had to deal with her grumpy counterpart. There seems to be some inconsistencies with the # of sauces you're allotted per wing order. In the past, I've had zero issue with getting 5-6 wings per flavor in multiple sets......until today I was told that I'd have to order a minimum of 20 wings to get 3 unique saucings. Different lady, different rules perhaps? Frustrating. Wing quality was passable, but the flavorings were weaksauce. Like literally weak sauce. Normally their mango habanero will cause a grown ass man to sweat, but today they were completely devoid of heat. On top of that, the spicy Korean BBQ (flavor of the month) fell flat and although I appreciated the change of pace, the wings were barely grazed with sauce. I will say, though, that their fries are amazing. Truly fabulous and salty; you can also get them dusted with one of the dry seasonings -- I'd personally recommend cajun. If you're lucky enough to be helped by Kristen, she'll get you set up with whatever you need. Service with a smile and a quick-witted joke, she's lovely and might even throw you a bone(-less wing) every now and then. The older woman won't comp you diddly squat, so it's really a roll of the dice on who'll be working that day. Same goes with the kitchen....some days they're on point, other days their sh*t's all messed up. The soap dispenser in the men's was kaputt, and despite the fact that this Wingstop is only like 2 months old there was already graffiti on the hand dryer/hurricane generator (really people?? This is why we can't have nice things) Bread = 3.5 Circuses = 2 So even though this most recent visit was kind of a downer, that won't stop me from returning. But if my NEXT visit gets bollocksed up....then perhaps elsewhere I will look for chickeny deliciousness. read more

A total of 8 chicken wings each order. In one order they only gave me six chicken wings, in the other order they game me all wrong 8 pieces BBQ. I called them and the man who answered the phone, who took my order in the first place was very rude to me. He told me that they don't make those mistakes, therefore they don't give out credits, he asked me to go back and bring everything back and they will make me a fresh order. Its cold and snowing. Really? The guy wouldn't let me talk and he didn't listen at all. Visited for the first time today. Restaurant was very clean and staff was very friendly. I enjoyed the two flavors and the blue cheese dip but was unhappy about the actual chicken with bone. The sauce was very good but the chicken was very dry and or overcooked. I purchased an 8 pc dinner with fries which were seasoned well. I ate 4 pieces of wings before I responded to Yelp. I visit this wing stop at least 3 times a month and have usually received satisfactory service. Today this was not the case and I feel compelled to report what I experienced. On 5/13 I went to pick up an order. While I was waiting, I observed the man in front of me paying with a credit card. When I stepped up to pay, I gave the cashier my credit card. She said, "I need to see your ID." As I handed her my ID, I state that she didn't ask the man for his ID. She said, "His order was $24 and yours is $67 so we don't need IDs for small orders." I replied, "It shouldn't matter how much the order is." She then pointed to a sign on the cash register and said, "See, you have to show your ID." The sign clearly said you must show ID with ALL credit card payments, and I pointed that out to her. I asked for her name and told her I would be reporting this. She said, "Make sure you tell them you were fighting with me about showing your ID. I told her I wasn't fighting with her, but pointed out what she did. When I ordered with my friends we were told right away that there would be a 15 minute wait, and I was all for it! But then 15 minutes passed, then 20 and then 25 and it was getting annoying. A whole family ordered before me ordered and then a bunch more after me, but 40 minutes later, I received my food. I was the last one. My food was to go, so when they called me up we all just took our food and left. When I got home, they had my order and my friends ordered completely mixed up and when it came down to it, we realized that they forgot a drink too. Not all Wingstops are created equal. They all may follow the same recipe, but it's not uncommon, from certain locations, that I open my container and become enraged over the garbage they gave me. Don't give me popcorn chicken and call them "wings". Your boy was actually the first one to say "catch me oussigh" before that brat did, and it was over bogus ass wings. But so far this Melrose Park location is killin' it. So much so that I haven't messed with locations where I live, & pick these up on my way home from work instead. Their wings are not only meaty, but seasoned/sauced to perfection. And the fries are always spot on as well. I don't know how they do it, or why some locations fail at it, but the fries here always retain their crispiness, even after sitting for some time. It also doesn't hurt that the woman here who rings me out couldn't be nicer. Maybe it's because this location is still kinda new. Don't order delivery! Placed online order at 7pm last night, for delivery to a training class at 11:45am today. The order was accepted and all was good. I received a text a 11:50am telling me the order was cancelled. I called the store and was told there was nothing they could do to get me food. I even offered to pick them up! I ended up going to Jewel for wings to feed my 20 students. It only took Jewel 10 minutes to fill an order Wingstop couldn't get done in 16 hours. What a disappointment!
