A lot to say about this wingstop but overall, IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!! me and my sisters + mom decided we wanted to get the free 5 wings so we had went online ordered under my name and hers. This Wingstop location has long been a family favorite and has, for us, always and consistently provided fresh, hot (temperature not taste) and quality food. Life in our culture and times can be busy and hectic. As a dog walker/pet sitter my schedule has kept me from eating here in awhile. Since I was last here, there has been a remodeling of this location and the staff seemed friendlier. We had BBQ, Lemon Pepper (our favorite) and Garlic Parmesan flavor chicken wings. We loved it and can't imagine that you won't too. Oh, yea... I know what you are thinking... there's that Yelp rating and some critical and bad reviews. I would urge you to do a closer look at those. Yelp ratings appear to be cumulative so they add up all the ratings (appears to be one point per star) and then that gets divided into the number of reviews going back years ago. Do we as consumers really care in 2017 if someone who stopped here for one visit and had a bad non-food experience (problem with a rude employee) several years? Especially when we see that the review was the first or second review they ever wrote? Was it a real experience or was it written by a Wingstop competitor? Why does that type of review get weighed in the rating process as much as someone, with more over-all reviews (thus someone without an agenda)? Why aren't the ratings adjusted according to dates and how recent the experience was? So avoid this Wingstop location if you choose but if you are doing it because of the Yelp rating and out of date reviews it is you who are missing out! P.S. Would rate a full five, because the workers are always really nice, and the food is normally to die for. However, last night was unfortunately not the case. Last night, myself, my wife, and my brother in law got wingstop and brought it home, only to find that most of our chicken wasn't fully cooked! I agree with one of my fellow yelpers, who doesn't love wing stop?! My hubby chose to eat here for lunch on his birthday. We were in the Plano area and this was the closest location. We have frequented plenty of wing stops, but this has to be the best location. When we entered the store, we were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who was extremely personable. He gave us space to order and then hand delivered our lunch to our table. Our wings were cooked perfectly. My hubby had the bone in, original hot and I ordered chicken tenders. We have ordered from this location on many occasions with no issues. Tonight was another story. First order got delivered missing a whole meal and fries for another meal. Wingstop wanted to only refund for those items and blamed doordash. Last I checked, wingstop keeps the food behind the counter and HANDS THE ORDER to doordash. After speaking with the manager, we got a refund for the entire order to place the order again with all items corrected. The second delivery had one combo wrong (got it right the first time though). Also, we had 3 combos with extra fry seasoning that is non existent. So two orders and neither correct. Get it together. The person who took my order didn't seem to like their job very much, so after my first order there, I chose to place my order online. This place can get really busy during dinner time and can take up to 20-25 mins for your order to be ready. Then I get there, give my name to the employee and I resume to pay (with my credit card). He tells me my order is coming out and I look down at my receipt and my order is wrong and I have been over charged. I let him know and he resumes to refund me back in cash. They need to understand that forgetting the ranch is a cardinal sin for a wing place. This is not our usual Wingstop location, but it's close to my husband's work, so he stopped by on his way home last week to pick up a family pack for dinner. When he got home with the food we discovered our French fries were missing. He called and spoke with a girl who took his name and said she'd comp our next order. Tonight he called to order and mentioned the credit, but his name and number was not recorded wherever they record that info, and the person he spoke with said the girl "didn't recall" so we just got screwed out of our fries and also the promise of a replacement order. I come here A LOT and spend A LOT of money at this location specifically. It's the closest to my house so it's a convenience thing but the food is bad half the time I go. The workers try and bribe you into giving good reviews but the food is usually subpar or bad. I've probably had 1 or 2 times it was really good out of the 10 times I've gone in the last month. The fries were very soggy with little to no seasoning. The fries honestly are always bad. The corn is ok but this time it was terrible. The corn almost taste rotten or like you fried it 5 times. Dripping with grease with a dumb amount of seasoning. No amount of seasoning can fix the taste. Just today we spent $22 just to get soggy corn and very soggy fries with no seasoning. If you want your order delivered think twice. They missed putting a full meal in my bag. Tried to blame delivery door dash driver. My 7 year was crying cause his meal didn't come with rest. Worest called store and they said it would be 25 to 30 minutes to remake or call the driver to see if they have another bag for me. I paid $4.99 to have all meals delivered to me and they didn't even want to refund that back after I had to go pick up at store last missing meal.
