I first tried valley wings last year and never made a review. I've recently ordered it a few times off Uber Eats and I must say, I haven't been mad at my meals. I have tried the grilled garlic pita (it was good but I wanted more garlic butter, it was a lil dry) the koolaid was delicious. I also tried the fried catfish and got hot as Texas sauce on top, it was really good. A big piece of fish! The wing flavors I've tried so far are: Hot as Texas (buffalos & lemon pepper - my fave) Garlic Parmesan - I'll give it a 7/10 Lemon pepper - flavor is good, dry rub. 8/10 Cajun - love the flavor (8.5/10) Overall pretty good quality and this is just Uber Eats. Thought I'd try wings some place outside of the usual chains and land here. I ordered pick for lunch. I chose 1/2 buffalo and 1/2 cajun. The Cajun was a bit spicy. They were just okay, honestly. I did put in the notes that I preferred flats hoping that's what I would get because why not. That's what I received and I was very appreciative of that. Customer service could have been much better. We traveled a long distance and were excited to try this place. When we arrived, we were immediately directed to the iPad kiosk to place our order, while other customers were greeted warmly and assisted directly by the cashier. What stood out to me was that I observed another customer who appeared to be a different race than the employees also being directed to the kiosk, while customers who appeared to be the same race as the employees were welcomed, helped at the register, and were not encouraged to use the kiosk. The place was not busy at the time customers were coming in one at a time so it did not seem to be a staffing or time issue. I cannot say for certain what the reason was, but the difference in treatment was noticeable and made us feel unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, the experience left the impression that some customers were treated differently than others. I hope management reviews this and ensures all customers receive the same level of service and hospitality. Unfortunately wont be returning. read more

This place has been on my list to try for a while now. Everything is made to order so if they are crowded it will be a wait while they cook your food. These wings are delicious and they are the perfect size, not too big and not too small. This place seems to pick and choose whose orders they take at the cash register and who they send to the kiosk. It happened to me, and I also watched it happen to another couple. From my experience, it felt like people who didn't fit a certain demographic were more likely to be directed to the kiosk instead of being helped at the register. Mind you it was not busy at all when I came in. And when the other couple came in it was still not busy. Like I said they picked and chose who they wanted to serve at the register. I've tried Valley Wings twice now and I'm personally not impressed. I'm not a fan of the prices, the atmosphere is lacking the flavors aren't consistent. I've gotten their Teriyaki Boneless Wings each time I've gone and the flavor profile wasn't consistent, and honestly just not good. We tried this place for lunch recently and had a great experience. We weren't sure what to expect when we walked in, since the space isn't very big. We ordered at the counter and then sat at one of the tables. We tried 10 wings, pita bread, fries and catfish. The wings were excellent. We tried the Cajun dry rub and the Golden Child (Buffalo and honey). The pita bread was unique and the fries had great seasoning. The catfish filet was huge and flavorful. The staff were friendly and the food came out pretty quick. I can't remember a time where we have had to wait for our food to cool down, which was great for us. 10/10 experience. Valley Wings does not play about their food. I'm not from Dallas. I'm from South Arkansas/North Louisiana, so I know real catfish when I taste it and this was the real deal. Fresh, well seasoned, and fried perfectly. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the tartar sauce, but that didn't take away from the meal at all. Everything else was amazing. The wings were sauced right, full of flavor, and cooked exactly how wings should be. Food presentation was fire, portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you're looking for real catfish and solid wings, this spot is definitely worth it. First time at Valley Wings The good: The wings are flavorful (especially the "Hot As Texas" wings), crispy, a decent size, and I loved the layout presentation of the wings. The music selection was fantastic, with 90's R&B videos playing on the display. Whoever is writing on the boards in there has amazing penmanship and cursive, giving it a personal touch. The menu is easy to read and understandable. The not so good: Maybe I came too close to opening time, but to be honest, it was not very neat. I had planned to dine in, but I decided to take my order to go and eat in the car instead. I also can't say the customer service was good or bad--it just wasn't engaging. However, this was close to opening, so maybe the gentleman working isn't a morning person. All in all, they have some award-winning wings in that food establishment, but tidiness and customer service could use some improvement. The BEST wings I've ever had, hands down. Was looking for food in the area and saw the good reviews and decided to try. Ordered 5 traditional garlic parm, 5 traditional lemon pepper, and 5 traditional buffalo, with fries and red kool-aid. I was seriously blown away by how intensely flavorful, tender, and fresh these wings were, it was so good we literally went back the next day to get the same order but 10 of each, including 10 of the sweet chili flavor. WOW that sweet chili flavor is something I've never tasted before, it was perfectly sweet and spicy and the wings, whether it's drumsticks or flats, are BIG. I want to try the whole menu at this point, especially the different fry flavors (looking at you, chicken alfredo fries) but the regular fries are also seasoned really well. We visited the location thanks on an Instagram blogger who posted about how good the ranch catfish was. We came in and there wasn't a wait in line. Our questions were answered about certain items on the menu. We chose the ranch catfish, plain catfish, 15 piece wings (lemon pepper and garlic parmesan), grape & tropical punch kool aid, and the chicken Alfredo fries. Our order was ready in about 10 minutes or so. We were jamming to old school R&B in the location while we waited. The location was nice & clean. There were a few people there and some ordering food. I can't decide which I enjoyed more- the ranch catfish or the chicken Alfredo fries....they werr both so good! I would never think that chicken Alfredo on fries would be a thing. This spot has been open for about 1 year now. It's very minimal inside with great R&B playing and big screen tv on the wall to watch games. The customer service was impeccable with the two ladies at the front explaining the menu well and being very patient while we scanned the menu. We settled for the Texas Hot (buffalo and lemon pepper) wings, chicken Parmesan fries, and Catfish with garlic rub. My man also got the grape cool-aid. The food came out hot and fresh and everything well done. The wings were very flavorful although I would have enjoyed more lemon pepper on the them. The blue cheese on the side or ranch is .75 additional so beware. The chicken Parmesan fries may have been my favorite. It tasted just like a Chicken Parmesan dish. The fried fish with ranch seasoning dry rub was really great as well, and the fish was very crispy. Delicious! I found Valley Wings Dallas on Yelp. We were looking for a new wing location. They are behind the Dairy Queen in the shopping center on the north west corner of Belt Line and Coit, just down from the hardware store. I had Honey Chile (Honey and Lemon Pepper), my husband had the plain. French fries had Parmesan and parsley sprinkled on top. The next night we ordered takeout!
