Was on this side of town last night and decided to try out the new wing place ahead of time so i ordered ahead. First, this place is kind of hard to find as it's tucked away in a strip mall. You really gotta be paying attention to where you're going. Service was good but that's almost where the good stopped. When i first got my order, it smelled phenomal. When i got it home i was not as impressed. Everything looked good and smelled good but the taste. That's where it got mediocre. The wife and i both got the 10 pc combos and we had a total of 4 different flavors and were wow'd by none of them. There was nothing that stood out from the crowd of other wing places. Spicy Korean Q was not that spicy and the Honey BBQ wasn't that great either. The best part of the meal was the drinks and the fries. I got the regular seasoned fries and my wife got the cajun seasoned fries which were really good. I'd say try at your own discretion. A coworker and I stopped in here for lunch today. A friend of mine raves about the place, we were nearby and both love wings. We thought we'd give them a try. My coworker went first and made his order an 8 wing basket, 2 sauces, side of fries and a drink. He choose the garlic parmesan and mild sauces on traditional wings. Me, being the lover of spicier food decided to try their Mango Habenaro and Hot on boneless... with the same meal choice. We get our drinks, and they have one of those pick your own flavored soda machines I love, so big bonus. We pick table and sit, shortly after another customer walks in and orders, and then another comes in to pick up his to go order that he phoned in earlier. I over hear the customer talking to the girl at the counter. His order isn't ready and she's apologetic. Apparently he had ordered well in advance and was not happy. Right after that my order comes out... wait... I ordered second, but I went boneless so they do cook faster.. okay. I watch as other orders come out and my coworker still hasn't received his. Around noon (I wish I was exaggerating, but I'm not.) he asks about his order. The girl at the counter tells us that traditional wings take about 5 minutes longer to cook than boneless... It'd been more than five minutes. Now we're watching the time as we have work to do. Finally at 12:10 according to the time on our phones his wings come out. According to the receipt he placed his order at 11:32. In between there others that ordered after us, had received their food first. So if you're in a hurry, make sure you get boneless unless you have 40 minutes to wait. As for the wings themself. Eh, they're okay. The Mango Habenaro which was supposed to be their second hottest wings had barely any heat to them at all and the flavor was okay. I've had much better at many other places. The hot was kind of bland with no heat. Now to be fair I eat a lot of hot and spicy food so my idea of hot and others differs, but no... I wouldn't consider these hot on any scale. I've had mild wings at other places that were just about as hot as these. Then on top of it the flavor was kind of bland. I was not impressed at all. The boneless wings themselves looked like store bought chicken nuggets. I know they're not, but that's the size and shape of them. My coworker didn't enjoy his either... he didn't like the flavor of either sauce and the wings were kind of on the small side. Overall there are so many other places, chains and local owned, that have better wings. Also, $10 for 8 wings seems a little on the pricier side for wings. Well I calculated that meant 30-45 minutes. So upon arrival I now get to see who I have been talking to and why this seemed harder than it was. There are 3 workers that's it. Two guys cooking and one girl who was working the counter and taking phone orders. There was one call in ahead of me and 5 people behind me. 5-7 people already seated waiting to hear their name called. I waited 15 minutes and finally get my food. Overall 45 minutes seems quite long for a call in order. Wings were good, but one sauce for that many wings seems chintzy. We most likely won't be back. read more
