What I have tried though, was Maiko's Matcha Latte, their ice cream, and their ramen hot dog. I came with a group of three... the other two got another matcha drink and as well as a potato hot dog. The unique thing about these hot dogs in the area is that they come in many varieties, and give you a choice of full mozzarella cheese or hot dog on the inside of it, or the choice of going half and half. Coming out of state, specifically from Arizona, it's not something I have seen. The staff, however, are quite friendly. The sauces that they serve with the hotdogs... pretty decent. Can be messy from how thin the sauce is, but the prices are somewhat decent. Better than average in food as well, not a bad place to stop by. I suggest you try. In a year or two, I will come back, and try Pelicana. Within good conscience, I can't rate it 5 stars due to the lack of a completed experience. Regardless... see for yourself. If you have coming just for Maiko, look on the side of the building. We had some trouble locating it initially, but regardless, not bad. The interior was big, enough for people to sit and eat at. At first it feels small, but past the bar there's a comfortable-sized dining room. Every TV was tuned to the World Cup, which gave the restaurant a fun, energetic atmosphere during my visit. Service was prompt and friendly. My waiter recommended the pork for the momo dumplings and also suggested pairing the meal with one of their Himalayan beers. After reading several Yelp reviews, I ordered the sizzling pork momo, naan, and chicken vindaloo. I also took the beer recommendation, which ended up being a good decision considering I ordered the vindaloo at a 4 out of 5 spice level. The sizzling momo was the standout of the meal. The dumplings were excellent, and the accompanying sauce was flavorful enough that I found myself dipping almost everything into it. The basmati rice was perfectly cooked, and the chicken vindaloo had a nice level of heat without overwhelming the other flavors. The chicken itself was tender and cooked well. Portions were generous, and I ended up with more food than I could comfortably finish by myself. Overall, this was a great first visit. Next time I'll bring my wife so we can share a few different dishes and explore more of the menu.
