Cold and sort of grungy feeling inside, I resist coming here even though generally I like chicken and this is very close to home. I am pretty much only a dine-in guy, so aesthetics matter. But, unlike many of the other reviewers, I have never had a significant customer service problem at this location. They don't fry ahead so that limits how quickly they can get food out, but fresh fried food is definitely better. Admittedly, the tenders are only fair, but the sides and sauces are all pretty good. Honey BBQ and teriyaki were my go-to choices but, since teriyaki was removed from the menu, the new "spicy Korean Q" has had the spot light and I've really enjoyed it. I appreciate that you can get all flats or all drumsticks (for a small up charge) and that the always separate the different sauces you order in the boxes.. I snuck into WingStop after visiting European Wax Center. This was my first experience in this establishment. I am trying to incorporate plenty of chicken in to my diet, so I thought I would give them a try. Good- Since I was the only one in the restaurant I was able to order immediately which is always nice. I asked the guy behind the counter what their most popular flavor was and he said the Hickory Smoked BBQ. Wasn't feeling in the mood for messy fingers from wings, so I gave their new Glider sandwiches a whirl. It took a good 10-15 mins to get my order and began to wonder what was happening. Upon receiving it, I realized they made it fresh. The chicken was piping hot and the roll toasted to perfection. I sunk my teeth into the moist chicken and really enjoyed the blend of crispy batter, rich BBQ, and crunchy bread. Definitely, worth waiting for so much so, that I returned the next day to the Conroe location with my DH to try the Gliders again! Not quite as good, but still decent for a quick bite. Bad- Don't be in a hurry because it does take a minute. I wonder what they do when they are packed. They drench everything in sauce and if you are watching your sodium you may want to have them put the sauce on the side because I did notice severe water retention after eating here. Ugly- Nothing to report. Both locations were clean, the staff friendly, and I noticed they do great party platters for events. I will be back, but only for the occasional treat because even tho it's chicken, and better than other fast food, it is still not that healthy for you. Unfortunately, they do not provide nutritional info on their website claiming that the portions vary from store to store. That is a Red Flag No-No in my book! I must admit up front I very much favor BWW. But tried not to let that get in the way of making a good judgement on my first visit to a wing stop. When you enter a business for he first time you loved to be welcomed like the young lady Jodi greeted me. Asking my name then asking how she could help me. I must say that was the start of great service all the way through my visit. Was told about the national wing day and with my order I would receive an additional 5 wings. Wow a bonus in food service that was awesome let us give you more for coming in today on what could be our busiest day. That was a great bonus, and given options to try different flavors on my bonus wings was cool also. I was told my order would be ready in 13 minutes, it was at my table in under 10. More bonus points.. So I wish I could say this was all a perfect visit, but when it comes to food the most important thing is do you like the way it taste? The wings had a taste of burnt oil. And he flavor sauce could not hide it. At first I thought it was just the different flavor than I was used to, but the fries that came with my combo had the same taste. First, I am an avid wing consumer and these wings were good. The sauce was ample and spicy. I suggest Louisiana rub and hickory BBQ. However, the wings were pathetically small. We are talking measly. Imagine KFC divided by 4 maybe 5. Even the employees recognized that the wings were more than 2 times smaller than "normal". But even thought they were smaller, they still gave me 3 less than my order. So I got 17 instead of 20. I don't eat a lot but 17 mini-wings didn't hit the spot. In addition to this, they gave me a firm time estimate of 14 minutes, but it was 30+ minutes before I got my wings. Now I know it was Texans playoff weekend, but that means you should staff more workers not the normal two. One man who ordered take-out had been waiting over an hour and thirty minutes for 50 wings. All in all, the workers were efficient and friendly, but I went for the wings, and I wouldn't call what I got wings. They were small, few, and they took ages to make. If you do go here, make sure they have increased the size of the wings or it won't be much bang for your buck. Unless you get atomic sauce, in which case you'll get a whole lot of bang. read more

The overall business here is definitely not up to par. Plenty of customers that came in after me were not greeted with a hello. The guys are respectful, but they need to understand how to run the business with time management and a big greeting. A man who had been waiting before me for 45 min., ordered online and still had not received his order. They brought out the wrong order to him and he confirmed that that was not his name on the to go receipt. Another lady came in after me, ordered online 30 min ago and still had not received her order yet. I asked for a meal and the cashier did not thoroughly know what it consisted of. People that come in after these customers and I are being told by one of the two guys that they are backed up about 45 min. So they are turning around business because they cannot keep up. I love wing stop, but this location is disgusting. It is dirty, and the employees simply just don't care. When I walked in, the person taking my order was on the phone with a friend and I had to wait for the phone call to be over for her to even take my order. I ordered BBQ boneless wings, fries, and celery & carrots on the side. I took one bite and left my food on the table and walked out, it was that bad. The fries were soggy, the wings were swimming in sauce, so much that the sauce was filled up over the wings so it just looked like a tray of BBQ sauce, and the carrots & celery came in a plastic cup and they were floating in about an inch of yellow nasty water. On a whim, I decided to give them another try, and I'm really glad I did. I was told there is a new owner, and from what I've seen there has been some major changes. I ordered the lemon pepper and original buffalo wings. The flavors were soooo good! I've had them before when a co-worker brought them into work one night. The only flaw is that the size of the actual chicken is super itty bitty small! They're about the size of chicken nuggets, except with bone in them, so they'd be smaller than chicken nuggets technically. The pricing was average (not really great for the sizing I just mentioned). Wait time was 14min for the order to come out. I got it for take-out. Got two ranch dips with the order, and I really should've just ordered one, because they come in a big sauce cup.
