    Cold oily fries
    April B.

I purposely waited until the store has been open for several weeks before going, giving them time to work out any new store issues. I have to say the only thing good was the music they had playing. I ordered the 8 piece combo, half Cajun half Louisiana Rub. Keep in mind the Louisiana Rub is a dry rub. My husband ordered half Louisiana rub and half hot. We ordered instore for dine in. You could see they were busy but orders were coming out at a decent pace, so no complaints on time between order and window pickup. The complaint comes at the food itself... you could not tell the difference between my Cajun wings and my husbands hot except for a very minuscule sprinkle of some sort of seasoning or herbs that were only on one side of the wing. Both of our Louisiana wings tasted like pure cooking oil. All of the wings were warm (temperature not flavor) if that. The fries tasted good but were absolutely cold and slightly oily as if they had been sitting on the counter for a while. You would think that ordering and eating instore you would not get cold food!!!

Original Hot wings and cheese fries

I've eaten at this location twice. First was ok, second not good. Wings are way over cooked and small, definitely for the price but also just in general. There are much better options for wings in Valdosta.

Employee calls customers liars, don't even know what they sell

Do not order from Valdosta Wingstop. You have been warned. Can they screw up your order, yes they can. In fact it's the only thing they're good at. Will your food be cold when you get home, luck of the draw. Is the staff completely incompetent, can't get a order right, Absolutely. There's grown adults that apparently can't read. Do you want to experience extremely rude staff that calls you a liar even after trying to show them proof. Yup, just terrible customer service all the way around. Every time you place a order it's 20-30 mins late after it's supposed to be ready. I spent a lot of money at wingstop and after this latest order being wrong yet again, I will never go back. Spoke with a manager as soon as I got home and realized my order was wrong. She said I could come back another day to have it replaced. I tried to get my order replaced and the very rude employee told me it had to be within 24 hours. The manager on the phone never mentioned it. Tried explaining my issues to the rude girl at the counter and was then called a liar. She claimed many times they don't offer a 16pc traditional wing. I ordered their classic full court flavor feast which clearly shows 16 tradtional (bone in wings) My order was supposed to be ready at 7:48 I didn't receive my food till 8:05 The entire staff should be replaced or just close the store. They won't be getting another penny from me.

In any place of business where they handle food. Food safety should always be top 3 priorities. No employees handling food had gloves on or were visibly washing hands. Its VERY unsanitary. The wait was ridiculous for a simple 8pc wings it took over 40 minutes. The overall taste was a 2/10, the fries were nasty over done and over seasoned to make up for the fact they're nasty. the wings were alright but the flavor was less than appealing, musty is a good descriptor for it. Bad experience overall. would not recommend.

Dry ass wings barely got lemon pepper on them

Terrible customer service. Was greeted with "what do you want?" Was not busy. Love the wings but don't know that I will go back.

I have to give some shout outs to the staff that took great care of myself and others. First off, Miss Jimekia helped us immediately and continued service with a great smile while also delivering kindness. Then there was Miss Hollie asking if anyone needed anything, while asking in the most sincere and polite way possible. Which again, I must say is something you rarely see in establishments these day. Last but not least, Miss Meia. Oh my goodness, she went above and beyond to help all customers while keeping that beautiful smile the whole time. I have been in the Hospitality industry for a very long time and is very hard to keep that smile and be nice but she did. Two thumbs up or five stars all the way around

From my first phone call with Mia to the moment we walked out the door, the service was exceptional. Managing a large group of hungry, hot, and thirsty athletes and parents isn't easy, but Mia handled it effortlessly. She stayed on top of everything with a smile and made sure no one was waiting for food, drinks, or anything else. She truly made our experience memorable. The food was just as impressive! I ordered the pork nachos, and they were incredible. My husband loved the ribs and mac & cheese. Around the table, the wings and grits were also huge favorites--but honestly, everyone raved about their meals. Not a single complaint from anyone in our group! The restaurant itself was spacious without being overly loud, making it easy for our large group to enjoy our meal together. Even the restrooms were spotless, and the sparkly countertops were such a fun touch. If you're traveling with a large group, definitely call ahead--and if you can, ask for Mia. She went above and beyond, and I can confidently say you won't be disappointed. We can't wait to come back!

The staff really go the extra mile to ensure their customers have a great time. It gets so busy sometimes that there can be long waits and lines out the door but everyone pretty much knows what to expect when they show up for a game or fight night. Many customers tend to settle in for those events so if that's your plan make sure to show up early for better food/service and wait times. I swear on game days I've seen less energy at the actual sporting events; BWWs fills up fast and keeps the energy high when there's something going on. I'd recommend coming on a slower day because the staff and bartenders are really nice and fun to talk to when they're not so busy. The food is what you'd expect from a wing place but the overall palette is a bit on the hot side. Even mild wings are pretty spicy but they have lots of other options like lemon pepper, parmesan garlic and/or the new flavor honey garlic (ask for well done extra crispy or all flats if you like that kinda thing-they have always been very accommodating to special requests). Also the chicken strips/tenders are always hand breaded and extra crispy and nothing at this store is made in advance, it's all cook to order so you'll get fresh food, but again, the kitchen doesn't get any bigger when game day rush sets in so expect to wait if you show up in the middle of a fight or big game. If so, settle in relax and grab a beer and before you know it you'll feel like you're actually at the event.

For openers, if you think the best barbecue is usually found in the worst part of town, in a place…read morewith bars on the windows, and just enough grease on the table to write your initials - then this isn't it. This is a barbecue joint (anyplace that serves barbecue is, by definition, a joint) just off the highway in Valdosta, Georgia... and worth all the confusion created when Waze takes you a block too far, and Yelp says they're about to close their doors for the day, which just wasn't the case. The Woodstack BBQ Tavern came into being in 2015 when three guys bought an old liquor warehouse with a monstrous photo of the Budweiser Clydesdale team pulling their famous wagon spanning the front wall. No deal if the building didn't come with the Budweiser mural. Two of thee three, Justin and Randy are running the place now and about to open another in Thomasville. For a guy who has spent a lifetime in pursuit of the perfect barbecue (read my more than 120 barbecue reviews from across the country on Yelp), this is a jewel worth all the confusion finding them and finding them open. Other reviews touch on the friendliness and they're right on... call for info (are you open, Yelp says you're about to close), to when you come thru the door, place your order and pay the tab, it/'s like your back home neighborhood diner. Lisa seems to be keeping things under control out front while folks in the kitchen keep the great 'cue coming. And at good prices. We had the three meat special (with two sides) for $28, but only after some freshly cooked, well seasoned pork rinds ($11 for a healthy serving)... Burnt ends (started by Arthur Bryant in Kansas City more than 50 years ago) were tender, flush with flavor and a great choice. The ribs were good complete with a validating smoke ring, but the best of the threesome we gorged on was the pulled pork. Some of the best the Brown Shoe Gourmet has enjoyed in some time. We skipped their fries (frozen with seasoning) and had their homemade chips (excellent), slaw (slaw that was just that) and fried Brussel sprouts for the one amongst us who doesn't understand that's not a legitimate barbecue joint side dish. She raved about them and made sure there was some left to take home. Go figure. Turns out we missed out on one of Woodstack's best known sides: homemade onion rings. Who knew? Sauces? Yes, three of them: a thin pepper and vinegar, a mustard based sauce and the traditional very slightly spiced tomato sauce - by far the best and worth buying. And while a lot joints now give you half ounce cups of sauce (or make yu stand in line to choose from too many (City Cue are you listening?) Woodstack puts freshly filled bottles on the table. What a novel idea - sample without holding uo a line- letting the customer decide which sauce and how much? A negative? There was one. No colorful tee shirt to add to the collection of more than 200. The dining area is spotlessly clean as are the rest room; the foods is really good and almost all homemade (they use post oak as is the wood of choice throughout Texas) and the hospitality, led by the smiling ball of energy that is Lisa, is outstanding. Five stars to Valdosta's Woodstack. We'll be back next trip south.
