All star, texas bacon egg and cheese with cheese grits. & two coffees.

We stopped here for lunch on our trip. Got the all star and the texas bacon egg & cheese sandwich, no bacon. So good! They took great care of us and everything was so clean.

Nothing like a WH to acquire yourself a quick quality breakfast when you are on the road and pushing to make good time. My total time from entry to exit was 15 minutes in the 6 am hour. I ordered my usual two eggs medium, hash browns scattered with white toast and strawberry jelly topped off with an orange juice. The meal was perfect just like every WH I go to and what you would want and expect. Only con was several tables needed to be cleared and/or wiped down. However I was greeted per the WH custom and they were in the process of cleaning. Restroom was clean.

It's great when the Waffle House crew gets it. This was a good visit and they were all over it this morning. No litter in the parking lot and while the restaurant was busy at 7am on Sunday morning, there were no dirty dishes on tables and the cook was not far behind on orders. I was immediately greeted when I sat down and was brought my coffee within one minute. This is a good start. I ordered the Fiesta Omelet and was asked if I wanted the jalapenos in it. I did and it was called out quickly. Sitting at the high counter in the center, I could see everything the cook was doing to prepare my meal and it was done properly. I had walked in at 7:16 am. My omelet was made fresh and in front of me at 7:23 am. It can't really get better than that. A ding because they were out of the Waffle House salsa but that's more on Waffle House corporate and the world supply chain than this particular restaurant. My waiter (shift manager?) was sincerely apologetic and offered 57 sauce (ick!) or ketchup (carbs!) so I went without. He also refilled my coffee twice. A great visit this morning and so it is a five star review. [Review 16716 overall - 486 in Georgia - 228 of 2022.]

Well, you've seen the picture, so you know what is my usual; but, first some background. I had read about Waffle House the other day, because one of the founders had passed away, so in honor of that, my partner and I stopped in for dinner. I don't go to Waffle House enough to be a regular; but, I know what i like, a Waffle Topped and Smothered (Waffle with Ben's Chili and Onions.). I usually get a bad reaction; but, if they can put toppings on hash browns, why not a waffle. Every Waffle House I've been in has done it. The wait staff at this location were warm, friendly, quick with refills on coffee and lemonade. They cook staff were proud of what they put out; my excellent waffle "concoction" and my partner's exceptional omelette. Parking here was more than adequate, width easy access from the highway (I-75) down the main road. It is near gas and other conveniences for the road traveler. The only letdown, was the floor in the bathroom was sticky from being mopped with a cleaning solution; but, not rinse-mopped with clean water. That's a pet peeve of mine, from when I worked cleaning the restrooms in what was then Buccaneer Stadium, in Tampa.

I was hesitant coming in here with all the "not so good" reviews. Well, let me tell ya folks..there must have been a change in the whole staff here. Christopher, an employee, opened the door for us as we walked up and greeted us. Very friendly guy. We sat down in a booth immediately and was served immediately. The waitress was very nice and quick. The manager, denise was fun with the jukebox. Haha, What a great and fun experience so far!!! Wendy is a fun and enthusiastic and wore a fun and festive hat for the 4th of July...Cherron was our server....such a joy. Food came out fast and hot, as always. The manager, denise, was also cooking. The whole restaurant was singing "Family Tradition" by Hank Jr. Haha soooo fun!! What a great breakfast!!!!

It's quaint, charming, and has that small-town, heartwarming vibe that makes you want to linger over your coffee a little longer. I ordered the Homemade Hash and Eggs, and it was almost perfect. The portion is hearty, so much so that I couldn't even finish it. But here's the kicker: the dish had absolutely no seasoning. None. Not even a sprinkle of salt and pepper. As someone who loves bold flavors, I found that strange. Thankfully, they had salt and pepper on hand, so after a generous shake (okay, several generous shakes), it turned into exactly what I hoped for: hearty, satisfying, and delicious. The coffee was solid but mild. I'm a "give me an extra espresso shot" kind of girl, so I would have preferred something a bit bolder. They offer basic creamer and sugar options, but I didn't notice any flavored coffee or syrups, so if that's your thing, keep it in mind. If you're a simple coffee drinker, you'll be just fine. What really sets Savannah Moon apart, though, is the service. The girl who greeted and served me was friendly and super sweet, exactly what you'd hope for in a place like this. She was genuine in a way that made me feel like a regular, even though it was my first time here. Overall, this is the quintessential breakfast spot. The prices are average in comparison to most of the sit-down breakfast spots I frequent. It's not trying too hard, it's warm and welcoming, and it just feels like the kind of place you want to visit again (and I definitely will).

I was there for breakfast, and had a Lavazzo cup of coffee, corned beef/potato hash with two basted eggs, and it was delicious. The corned beef hash was not prepared by a chef with precise knife cuts, but how I would do at home--irregularly cut potatoes, onions--it looked like hash! My friend had Eggs Benedict, and she told me they were perfectly delicious. And guess what? Bill was right at $25! Our server was a friendly, attentive young woman, who took good care of us. Run, don't walk, for an amazing breakfast at Savannah Moon Bakery, in downtown Thomasville. Their downtown deserves its own entry on social media.

We were greeted with a smile the second we walked in, and our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. A+ for vibes and service. Now, the food... oof. We started with the appetizer special of the night, which, shockingly, was the best thing we had--and it was aggressively mid. Everything that followed? Two thumbs down. The peas I ordered as a side; I swear were marinated in red onion slivers for several decades. Even after picking out all the visible onion, (as shown in pictures) it still tasted like Shrek's bathwater. If I had ordered this on a first date, I would've just gone home to save us both the trauma of onion breath. There's no way a single person has ever eaten this dish and said, "Wow, that was delightful." I'd actually pay money to see the facial expressions of anyone taking a bite. My partner's mashed potatoes? So dry and dense I could've thrown them at a wall and they'd stick. Come back the next morning and they'd be holding up drywall. Not a single drop of moisture in sight. I asked for crushed red pepper for my flatbread (thinking maybe it could be saved). No - No pepper flakes. Apparently none of their flatbreads are allowed joy or spice. Even if they did have red pepper, I don't think it would've saved it. Best thing we had all night? My partner's chicken. And even that was dry. So, that says a lot. Final verdict: come here for a drink and a snack before going somewhere else for the actual meal. It's a great pregame spot, but if you're hungry-hungry, keep walking.

Got their version of BamBam Shrimp on a bed of greens.to start. Presentation was on a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce, no side plates were offered, and we used our single paper napkin to keep our silverware off the table and wipe our mouths. No linen napkins. I did surf n turf, medium well which most kitchens struggle with. No different here, cooked well all the way through. Baked potato was genuinely cool to the touch. Collard greens were excessively seasoned with vinegar. Not good at all. The presentation was shockingly bad, one side on my plate had a rim of black pepper, the other side had a rim of butter from the shrimp, that's my best guess. Shockingly bad. My wife ordered ribeye medium rare. The outer part was well done and the inside was very rare, cook temperature way too high. Baked potato cool to the touch again. From my seat the kitchen looked chaotic and undisciplined, no quality control at the pass at all, no floor manager present anywhere to be seen. Sometimes my view was blocked by employees clocking in to work. This table should be the last to be assigned period. Non culinary folks could find easy ways to improve this place, linen napkins, side plates, hot food, precision cooking etc. The lack of oversight for the food preparation and presentation of the food killed the experience for sure, no supervision or management of the kitchen and food.
