We always enjoy wings from here and probably order from here once a month. They are usually good with timing of orders and efficient once the order is placed. However, sometimes it's luck of the draw if the food is going to be cooked the way we ordered (I assume depending on whoever is the cook that day) and they've messed up our orders a couple of times, which was disappointing. The restaurant itself is pretty small. I wouldn't recommend any groups larger than 4! They only have room for 2 tables to be put together to make room. The service was mediocre. In fact they've given me a extra wing or 2 on multiple occasions. The food is always good the only thing I have a problem with the is that you can't fill your drink yourself. Not sure why the ratings are a lower average. Had 2 good experiences in the last couple weeks. Employees were polite and helpful. They were attentive and accurate. The food was very good and prepared well. I think they may be understaffed though. It appeared two employees were making all the food, but they were unable to keep up. First I would to say I do enjoy eating some Wingstop on the weekends with a few beers in the comfort of my home. Unfortunately, not from this location. Al least not anymore and here's why. I live right across the street so I always call in and order Togo from there very convenient that is. However, my last 5 orders with them has been far from good. I never get what I ordered. I always order garlic Parmesan and a side of honey mustard. Opened up the bag and got my wings but there were no mustard. Then ordered the same again another weekend but this time I got the sauce with the wrong flavor wings ( cowboy) when it's supposed to be garlic Parmesan. Then ordered again and this time I got the wrong flavored wings with the wrong flavored sauce. Like oh my! Are you kidding me? Then after two more times with the same experience I've decided to bring it here. When I call them to let them know, I'm always given an excuse to why my order was wrong every time. Such as, oh the person who took your order is new. Ok? So therefore, even tho I live right across the street I will no longer go to this location ever again. The manager(s) and the staffs there needs to be retrained especially when you can't take down the right orders. A small order of 15 pieces of same flavored wings and a sauce isn't that complicated. As far as Wingstop goes, as a chain its always going to be hit or miss. Surprisingly, this one wasn't terrible. Made an order on the phone and they said 20 minutes. 20 minutes later it really was ready. I've had numerous experiences with Wingstop where they just DON'T even start your order until you get there, which is just annoying and a waste of my time. Walked in, only two employees. One sitting on a back counter and the other talking to him. My Wife was going to order while I headed to the restroom. I noticed 4 baskets of pre cooked wings sitting over the fryers and a tub of raw chicken sitting out. The raw chicken had been there so long the ice beneath it had already melted. I am now the idiot. I've eaten Wing Stop since 1999 and been a devoted fan since day one. My mind said abandon this establishment and your order. Save yourself. My gut said this is Wing Stop, they won't hurt you. Yeah, lukewarm wings. To Wing Stop, keep it under 40 or above 140 degrees and your future customers won't have stomach cramps, fever and diarrhea like us. Highly disappointed in myself and your lazy team. No doubt Wingstop is one one my favorite wing places out there with the amazing mango habanero sauce. It was just another Friday and I was feeling like wings so I went to get some at Wingstop. I of course ordered the mango habanero but since they were extremely busy I thought it would take long. But after a minute or 2 the wings were ready. While I was eating them I realized they tasted kind of different and that they were undercooked. But since I only ordered a 4 count I was basically done already. The next morning thought I wake up with my stomach hurting and I ended up throwing up a few times realizing it was definitely from the wings. I have tried several times but this place always fails. the food is great but the service sucks! I paid $4.99 for delivery, then tip and as usual you all forget the ranch. I can live without it, my kid on the other hand can't. What makes me mad is if I had asked for an extra ranch it would have cost me $1.00, but you can leave off 2 ranch's and I do not get a credit. I have been a fan of Wingstop for years and when the craving comes for wings, there are few places nearby that can beat them. We have been going to the Sachse location since moving to Murphy so I was very excited to learn one opened in Wylie. I have been several times but won't be back...to this location. Last weekend I placed an order online, like I usually do. I always try and time the drive so I close to the time estimated for it to be ready. It was Friday night and a game was going on at Wylie stadium, and apparently, the shopping center is for parking overflow for the stadium. How great that the school gets all this free parking, who cares about the patrons who want to actually spend money for these businesses. There was NO parking, not even in the empty grass area between the shopping strip and movie theater to the point where people were parking in the handicap parking and double parked, in turn blocking those patrons who were trying to leave. I get over it and inside, it was busy...tables full and several people waiting for pick-up orders. No surprise considering... I give my name and am told it wasn't ready yet. It was now the estimated time of the order being ready but again, it was busy so understandable. I continue to wait...and wait...and wait. As the other patrons with pick-up orders come and go, and I watch pick-up orders continue to stack up on a small waiting table, I start getting impatient. 25 minutes of waiting I finally walk up to the counter to check on the status. The young gal turns and grabs on of the take-out orders that had been sitting there for 15 minutes and says "Sorry for the wait" - I look at her and said - "I've been waiting 25 minutes...when was this ready" - she mumbles something about it was supposed to be ready at x:xx but we've been behind...I respond "yes, I know but I've been here 25 minutes and I ordered them over an hour ago and it has been sitting here getting cold the entire time. She just looks at me, shrugs, and says "they're still kinda warm..." And then just looks at me. That was she resolution..."they're still kinda warm" I leave, upset, and even send an email to Wingstop headquarters, but yet to have a response. GREAT customer service...NOT! Fast forward a week and damned if I'm not craving it again so I decide to give them a second opportunity to redeem themselves. Round 2...Online order - 40 minutes estimated time before the order is ready...Mmm, okay. I arrive again a little early, early Saturday (6ish) and again, the parking lot was full because Wylie ISD obviously has parking priority over paying patrons. This time, my order was waiting for me and doesn't feel hot...at all. But hey, at least it's ready - ironically, I almost...almost smirked when one of the other patrons waiting for a pick-up order, walked up after me to check on their order. It was when I sat down to eat that the decision was made that Wingstop Wylie is officially fired when they chose the short me several wings. Seriously! I'd blame Wingstop but considering they are franchises, the fault is with the franchise. That said, it might be time to find somewhere else for good wings. Oh! We will not be spending our money at this location in Wylie anymore. We would rather drive to Sachse location. After waiting on a to go order for 24 boneless wings, we drove home all to discover they were all bone in. My husband spoke to the manager and ended up getting into it with her because I guess she wasn't understanding the fact that we did not order bone in and told him she could give us 20 boneless wings for free. We ordered 24. What I'm not liking is the fact that we waited about 20+ minutes, ordered a drink while we were waiting and are inconvenienced to waste gas for another trip up there and back home, all because wing stop prepared the order wrong and a manager cannot even say something to the sort of, "my apologies, if I can replace that order and give you your money back for the inconvenience" What is wrong with places not caring how meals are prepared that we work hard to pay for?! My husband ended up taking those wings back and getting the money back. What is even more ridiculous is that we had our 1 year old son in the car seat asleep while we were waiting so I know they remember us and it's like it doesn't matter that we have to get back out and be inconvenienced with a young child, all to just get our money back and start all over again to go get something to eat for our family of 6, one of which is our oldest daughter that didn't get to eat because there was no time for her to wait again because she had to leave to make it to work on time.
