Hubbers wasn't feeling the continental breakfast at our hotel, so he skipped it. However, after running a few errands, he got the hunger pangs. Be mindful, that it's made from small onions so if you aren't a fan of onions, I don't recommend getting it animal style. Their drive through can be long, but you can also order inside as well. They seem to get the drive thru orders quickly. If you don't want the buns, order it protein style and they'll switch the burger buns to lettuce wraps instead. read more

I have hit my last straw. I will NEVER return to y'all again. You have parking spaces, including the handicapped ones in front of the store that are completely Useless with the way the drive-thru is located. If you do happen to get in the spot you can just about give up trying to have someone be nice enough to let you pull out. So basically the handicap spots are probably just so that they can have some type of requirements met by the city. They ought to have a big sign saying we don't give a crap if you're handicapped. Again I had ordered extra pickles which they again put in a stupid paper container which then thoroughly dripped all over inside the sack making the bottom of my burger absolutely inedible as it was just a wet piece of dough when I got home. Then there was the bag itself which was all covered in grease and cheese on the outside of it but yet they still handed it to us to take home. This was all after waiting yet a good 15 minutes in line to get our food. This was the final straw I quit and I'm thoroughly done with you people. Then I had a friend tell me that you HAD to order a double meat double cheese. So the next time I went I ordered the double-double with all my favorite toppings listed above. I had heard SO MUCH about In-N-Out. They are sort of legendary so was looking forward to eating here. So I tried them. Got a double burger with animal style fries. And they were good. very good. But not as good as I had built them up to be in my mind. I guess I'd heard so much about them that I thought they would be absolutely mind blowing but they weren't although they were indeed tasty. People say the California one is better and I've tried it, I thought it was good in Cali because the buns were nicely toasted. But this place did a good job toasting the buns so it tasted really good! I was also hungry and I haven't had in n out in like two years so that made the food really delicious. The fries were not bad and not super crispy. It's good with some sprinkle of salt. The employees are very friendly and nice! There's a parking lot for in n out so no worries about that. In N Out is always consistent and tasty. The patties have a decent crust and the grilled onions add a sweet, soft, onion flavor and texture to the burger. Not much to say. Everyone knows what's up with In N Out. I don't care for their fries. I didn't care for the milk shake. In n out burger was the talk of the town so I gave it a try and didn't have the same thought once I finished. The menu was simple and clean. The wording got me until the employee explained what a 2x2 is. It means 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese. You can get it in any ratio you need so I got a 4x4 and was amazed at the price for the meal. The amount of hype In-N-Out Burger gets makes total sense. I'm sure everybody has had In-N-Out, so I won't make this review too lengthy. But if you've never been to In-N-Out, you've never really lived, so definitely give this place a try! For the newbies, anything you order, just put "animal-style" in front of it, and it automatically tastes 50x better, I promise. I don't eat fast food regularly, but I make this an exception because of the quality ingredients. I used to get the animal-style cheeseburger, but nowadays, I get the double-double/no cheese/protein-style/grilled + regular onions burger mainly because it doesn't make me feel guilty after eating it. Animal-style fries are a hit and miss - sometimes soft and soggy, other times perfectly salted and crispy. Parking's never a problem because people prefer the drive-thru window. Overall, this burger joint is the perfect example of quality over quantity - I mean, the menu has like five items. In-N-Out's probably my all-time favorite fast-food place and favorite location (mainly because it's always clean and service is A1). Shake Shack doesn't even compare. read more

You don't freaking go to In-And-Out to enjoy the ambiance and sit on the patio. The title says it all--you get IN and you get OUT. It's simple. It's fast. The service is great. People are friendly. They don't try to do 40 things right like some chains. There aren't chicken nuggets on the menu. They serve burgers, fries, soda, and milk shakes. If you're dining and driving they give you a handy tray so you can eat in the car. And it's real beef--not some previous frozen, faux-beef patty like you get at McDonald's. If you go to McDonald's or Whataburger or any of the other fast food chains on every corner in Texas you get French fries that were coated in sugar and starch, cooked, then frozen and sent out to stores to be eventually cooked in a vat of grease. At In-And-Out you get fries cut fresh in the store from the actual potatoes that are shipped to them. Their beef is ground chuck, not pink slime. Their shakes are ice cream--not "frozen dairy product" like McDonald's or Sonic. It's pretty simple. Eating fast food is never exactly healthy. But if you care about what you are putting in your body--never frozen, fresh ingredients, no added preservatives, then you go to In-and-Out. If you want something that's been sitting in a Golden Foods warehouse in a blast freezer for who knows how long, only to be served to you after sitting under a heat lamp and with your order messed up 20% of time, then visit any of the other chains around town...there's no shortage of them. read more
