There were problems with my progressives, and the staff at Wink were so diligent to get the prescription redone and glasses remade until everything was good. He carefully restored the temples back to their original shape, and adjusted the tips so that they sat even more comfortably than they had before. Frank came to my rescue last week with 2 pair of glasses I had damaged. I was able to make an appointment and get both pair fixed quickly and readjusted. The store was super clean as always. Wow. Just wow! I initially talked to Quynh via email, who was very helpful and kind, he then referred me to Frank because Frank would be able to handle my needs faster. (This all happened during the Corona Quarantine) Frank gave me a personal appointment, and my girlfriend and I had his store to ourselves. His safety made me feel very comfortable, alcohol wipes and spray galore for anything we tried on, air purifier going, all of us in masks etc. Safety definitely came first and Frank handled it brilliantly. Wink Optics is stocked with very hard to find frames from some of my favorite brands, and Frank's knowledge and enthusiasm for what he does was so impressive! He changed some lenses out for me in a pair of Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses, and also threw in the bonus of adjusting a couple of my other pairs of sunglasses for free. All while being super fun to talk to, he's a really interesting guy! He then helped my girlfriend figure out her precise prescription and she bought a pair of glasses, which he of course adjusted for her, and he also adjusted some pairs she had brought along too. He spent his time with us and never made us feel rushed, and yet he was incredibly fast and efficient. Really nice guy, store full of sun and optical frames nobody else has, and also a great small business that has absolutely won our loyalty! I've been looking for the right pair of glasses for over a month and liked the wide selection this store had. All the glasses in store are from independent small businesses, so you won't see a selection like this anywhere else. The lens quality here is great and they have many different options, I was able to get glasses with color transitioning lenses to match the frame! I walked in on Xmas eve looking to replace the lenses of my reading glasses ASAP. Alisha was SO helpful and friendly! She is definitely a customer service oriented optician even though they themselves couldn't turn the lenses around as fast as I needed them, Alisha referred me to another establishment and now I have new reading glasses and much less eye strain! I've shopped at Wink before and every time I walk in the service is grand! It's not a high-pressure place, but a comfortable place to buy some of the best frames around! I was in the neighborhood so thought I'd drop by and see if they could help me with a pair of Face Face sunglasses that needed major adjustment. Everyone was friendly and attentive. One gentleman was able to repair them while I waited. It was more of an extensive adjustment, applying heat etc. Great selection and range of prices and styles. Having spent a good bit of time looking over Wink's variety of frames on multiple occasions, I can say with confidence that they stock no shortage of sleek frames for a guy like myself. I've been helped by Jenny and Frank more than once, and they are both extremely outgoing, courteous, and knowledgeable of their product. I'm a bit indecisive, so I value the patience and input they've shown me to ensure that I'm happy with my selections and confident in wearing them. They both have zero interest in creating pushy, tense sale environments, and are much more focused on ensuring that I'm trying on frames that fit my face as well as they fit my needs. I'm clearly not the only one who feels this way, as there seems to be at least one returning customer or reoccurring friendly face any time I'm in there. The quality of the frames are stellar; easily the nicest set of glasses that I've owned. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the shop is clean, and if you're around for the various brand events that they host, they're more than willing to pour you a drink and offer treats if you feel inclined to pop in and say hello.
