Amazing customer service during COVID 19. Unfortunately not open for the dr and I really need new glasses etc

I took my son there and he was seen by Dr. Nersisyan. He got glasses!! I'm glad they accept our insurance. they have a good variety of eyeglasses and sunglasses... prices could be a little more reasonable. The staff is friendly and the store is beautiful. read more

Didn't work out for me at all. I had been using Target Optical and my doctor suggested I go here for a comprehensive eye exam due to chronic headaches. Very quick, perfunctory eye exam, my doctor had suggested my eyes be dilated, but it isn't part of their exam. I had checked ahead that they accept Blue Cross, and yet the exam was another $140 on top of the amount covered by insurance. They did give sample lenses, a much different prescription than I had previously, and I struggled with adjusting to them, finally gave up and told them I couldn't see anything with that prescription, they changed it and we tried again. These lenses are fine, but my old prescription was better than what I'm wearing now, the brand was just discontinued. Very marginal experience. Going to be happy to go back to Target. Sometimes the name, and the location and the higher price really don't make it better. read more

Dr. Nersisyan is wonderful. She's both professional and friendly. She and Diane, Alis and Jenny up front have helped me and my girls through many prescriptions for glasses and contacts. Great selection of glasses and sunglasses, beautiful place and easy to get to and park. read more

update: I see Dr Nersisyan now and she's lovely, warm and has finally found the right Rx eye drops for my severely allergic eyes! plus I got a great new pair of glasses that help me see! I like the personal help in choosing the frames bc it's impossible for me to do without help! read more

Very happy with Dr. Nersisyan. I had a great visit with her. I asked to squeeze my son in during a Saturday morning appointment and they were happily able to accommodate. They were very patient with him while he was trying to figure out how to put the contact lenses in. All in all it has been a few great visits. read more

I am so glad to have found this place! Dr. Corben and his staff are warm, courteous and professional. I had never been there before, but after waiting several hours for a call back from my primary care doc to get an RX for Pink Eye and being 8 mos pregnant, I couldn't stand the wait any longer. I called Wink Optometry hoping to get quicker service. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the Doctor, as everyone was fabulous! I was seen promptly, prescription written, price reasonable and on my way to relief long before my primary doc even called back, all around a great experience. Once again i can't say enough good things about Wink Optometry. Last night I had a real scare when all of a sudden the vision in my right eye went totally fuzzy - like someone had put a piece of cellophane over my eye. I figured I'd wake up this morning and it would be gone. Nope - it was still there. I started to panic and called Diane at Wink Optometry, who I've been going to since 2010, and they took me right away to try and figure out what was wrong. Dr. Narsissian is wonderful - she figured out what was wrong, relieved my nerves and told me my eye should be better in a week or so. I guess I have corneal edema - from my contacts. The staff is super friendly and I feel as though I get "small-town" service with big city amenities. The selection of frames is always changing and on-trend. Horrible customer service by Alis, the optician. She is rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, uneducated about eye-wear, pushy, misleading, and fails to provide important information. The facts are as follows: While I was looking at Maui Jim's sunglasses for myself (I am a woman), she came over to me and recommended a pair of aviator sunglasses made by Oliver Peoples, which I eventually bought. Sometime after my purchase, I looked at the Oliver Peoples website and found out that the sunglasses I bought are for men, not for women, because they were categorized under the men's section of the website and not the women's section. When I confronted Alis about the fact that she sold me a pair of men's sunglasses (I provided her with the specific site showing that the sunglasses fell under the men's category) and that she failed to tell me that these are men's sunglasses, instead of apologizing for her "mistake" or error, she became defensive and combative by: (1) insisting that the sunglasses I bought are unisex (in contradiction to what Oliver Peoples states); and (2) I was not forced to buy these sunglasses (needless to say). I told her that I would have appreciated an apology for this mistake or human error, which I understand happens at times, but she continued to insist that she did not make a mistake and that the sunglasses I bought are for both men and women. Not only after I demanded an apology did she say, "I apologize" without looking me in the eyes, with a smirk on her face, and shrugged her shoulders. As I continued to have this discussion with Alis in the store and while I was talking, she decided to help someone else in the store and ignored me as I was talking to her mid-sentence. I would not have written this Yelp article if she acted professionally and apologized, but her actions after the mistake was brought to her attention is unacceptable. I am pleased with the optometrists here, but because of my experience with this optician, I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I truly appreciate her efforts and her knowledge concerning the options available to me. I was looking for good glasses and found Wink Optometry was not sure what would I like. When I went there ALIS attended me as a professional and asked me what I am looking for as I was not sure she really spend time on finding what would be the best option for me. She was very honest with her products and knows what she is doing. She suggested frames that fit and would be better in terms of my Vision fit. She was really helpful and answered all my questions. I always go back to Wink because of her. She is a star and knows what she does. I recommended Wink to all my friends and family members. Dr Corbin is amazing !!!!!....He is not only an outstanding doctor but he is up on the hottest fashion... They have a great selection of the hottest trends in eyewear......I have seen many eye doctors and none of them could get my prescription correct. I came here because they were listed as an Oakley prescription location and they are local. I had never been here before but Diane helped me with a custom order. Not only was she kind and knowledgeable but she was very thorough. We got my order placed on a Monday and much to my pleasant surprise my glasses arrived on Thursday! Lightning fast turnaround and excellent service. I was there specifically for these frames for sports but I am very much a collector of designer optical and sunglass frames so I decided to look around the shop. They have an excellent selection of glasses from some of the best designers. If you're looking for a great optical boutique in the valley look no further! read more

The optometrist was great. The girls were not. The frames here are outrageously expensive. I came back the next day with buyers remorse after buying $600+ glasses (AFTER insurance, originally $1000+), and they gave me a hard time and attitude. They were really nice when I was paying too much, and told me I would never get anything for less. I actually went online that day and purchased 3 nice pairs of prescription glasses for $200. Wow! I had a very similar experience to L.R. Alis sold me a pair of glasses that did not look very good on me, and that were very uncomfortable to use for the primary function that I told them that I needed them for (which is to wear after work and to bed so that I can fall asleep watching TV). She got very defensive and charged me a fortune to exchange them for a pair of less expensive frames that worked out better even though VSP did not charge them anything additional to provide lenses for the new glasses - and the frame company took back the old pair that was worn a total of about 5 hours. If you love your dog going everywhere with you and want no restrictions, this is your place. One set of glasses from these people and and you'll be getting a seeing eye dog. When we told this "Dr" (yeah, sure) Nersisyan the prescription was wrong, she and her attitude said we were being difficult. WRONG prescription for the contacts, WRONG prescription for the glasses. Went elsewhere, got a second opinion, and arrived at the same conclusion, Nersisyan is incompetent with an attitude. Lethal combo when you are trying to see. read more

The customer service is hands down! I am an occasional purchaser who works in the area and each time I go in there they provide me with amazing service. they sre attentive and very freidnly and they don't care that I'm a lookie lu that's coming million times. I've gotten a couple glasses there. it's quite expensive, I'm not sure if it's the best deal in town but they do have an awesome selection. Stop by even if it ends up being out of your price range. After all it is in Calabasas so it caters to a high-end clientele but they treat everyone the same and that's awesome! I did my exam there and my favorite part was doing the camera scope of the back of my eye that was so cool. The only thing I might worried about is my lenses do get scratched pretty quickly and when I've taken them to other places they do not have scratches that soon (two weeks and my lenses are scratched up) not sure if it's me or if it's them but I have to wonder. No worries because they have a warranty! I'm giving three stars because they have an awesome selection, they have a great staff and good product warranty. read more

Dr. Nersisyan was great. Very sweet and very professional. Answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The office is very nicely decorated and they have a good selection of frames. I was worried because it's in the mall and it sounded like a franchise optometry store (it might be I have no idea) but they were very kind and professional. I am incapable of making any decisions when it comes to my frames and they very kindly helped me for what must have felt like hours, letting me try on every pair in the store. I ended up spending more money than I anticipated but it had largely to do with the fact that I am blind as a bat and needed super premium ultra thin lenses and some special coating. I would definitely recommend this place and Dr. Nersisyan. read more

I came here for an eye exam, and Dr Narsissen gave me the wrong measurements. I bought a very expensive pair of glasses and the top quality lenses, and was getting terrible headaches. After going to a different doctor, they told me my prescription is wrong. I can see now, but definitely not going back to Wink optometry. Trust me, there are other doctors around who are much better. BTW their prices are horrible. Ray-Ban glasses start at $200+!!! Have you ever seen a Ray-Ban for $250-$300? read more

What a great experience. I just say Dr. Nersisyan this morning for an eye exam. She was wonderful and hearing my needs or concerns and expalining to me what my options were. My favorite part was she explained my insurance coverage to me in a clear consise way that allowed to to feel like I was making a good decision. Top-level everything. I've been to many optometrists, and I feel like I finally found "my place." Gorgeous store, but not intimidating considering the high end customers and lines they carry (Chloe, Alain Mikli, Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples, Chanel...). Dr. Corben is brilliant and thorough and super sweet. After having had so many exams over the years (been wearing glasses for 36 years), I was actually taken aback by the level of technology in the store. Dr. Nersisyan and her team, Diane, Alis and Jennie are just superb! I love Winks collection on both sunglasses and vision glasses. I have been coming here off and on for years and have never been disappointed. Thank you Jennie for your help with eye exam and following through with the prescriptions. Thank you Diane for recommending the Shamir Autograph Intelligence Lenses. What a difference from the Varilux Digital lenses I have always used. I highly recommend the Shamir lenses for optium seeing results. I have to give a special shout out to Alis whom took the time to help me select the most perfect pair of Oliver Peoples Sunglasses. Over the years, Alis has always helped me pick out my glasses (I am a sunglass junkie). I had tried on numerous pairs in the store, but I was still set on a style I saw at Oliver Peoples in LA that Winks did not carry. She special ordered them and since this was a big investment ($$$) where the sunglasses were going to be made into prescription sunglasses, I was calling her back and forth with the many questions . What fabulous selection of frames! It was actually fun to shop for glasses. The staff (Diane helped me) provides the best possible customer service. They understand the need to be selective about what you'll be wearing on your face day in and day out. They helped me find a cool pair of glasses and they actually were so nice, it kinda blew me away (guess I've had too many experiences of poor customer service in the past year, so when someone is above and beyond nice, I'd like to commend them for it!).
