We have two different cupcakes for later but if they are even half as good we are in for a real treat. The family that owns it are amazing and are putting out products that are made with real love. The service is incredible and friendly. Everything in the shop from T-shirts to grass fed meats from the family farm are all laid out for the casual shopper and also shows the amazing quality they put into everything they sell. This is a place, we will be visiting a lot in the future. The store is only open Monday , Friday and sat so make sure to get there to help support a great business and a very awesome family.

The chocolate middle was very good. Again, the prices are crazy and they want to up charge for everything. Which is ok, if you're having a special event and you're gonna do it right I don't mind paying for it but what really upset me is they didn't have any candles.. When we went to pick up the birthday cake they said they were out of candles. How do you then run to a store with a Cake in your car search searching for candles right before an event I think a store like that should have candles for their customers. Especially at those prices.

A Die-Hard Bostonian's Confession: These Bagels Are Wicked Good (Even If It Pains Me to Admit NY…read moreDoes Something Right) Listen, I'm a Boston boy through and through--born and raised in the shadow of Fenway, bleeding Red Sox red, Bruins black and gold, Celtics green, and Pats whatever colors they're rocking these days. I hate the Yankees with a passion that runs deeper than the Charles River. Don't get me started on the Giants, Jets, or Knicks either--those teams are pure evil in my book. New York can keep their overrated pizza and their traffic; I'll take Dunkin' and clam chowdah any day. But damn it, these bagels at Bella's Bakes Cakes and Bagels on Central Avenue in St. Pete forced me to eat my words (along with a sausage, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel ). I stumbled in here on a quick drive from St. Pete Beach back to the other Florida coast, skeptical as hell because they boast "authentic NY-style" bagels. Figured it'd be another Florida flop. Nope. One bite--that perfect crisp exterior cracking into a chewy, dense interior--and I was transported straight back to my Northeast roots. Suddenly I'm dodging traffic on Storrow Drive, grabbing a quick bagel before work at some hole-in-the-wall in Brookline or Allston. It was transformative, wicked transformative. Every mouthful brought floods of home: the bagel reminding me of Sunday mornings with the family. The place is cozy, family-owned, with super friendly staff who don't give you that big-city attitude. Fresh-baked daily, real deal boiled-then-baked bagels--no fluffy imposters here. The breakfast sandwich held up like a champ. Look, it kills me to say this, but Bella's has nailed the New York bagel better than most spots up north these days. If you're a fellow New England exile missing that true taste of home--or just want the best bagels in the Tampa Bay area--get over here. I'll be back, grudgingly admitting defeat one bite at a time. Five stars, no question. Go Sox... but props where props are due.

I originally wanted to try the black sesame chocolate croissant but the person taking care of me said they were the first to sell out, so next time I'll be coming right when they open. The associates taking care of me were kind and patient. Ube Smores Cinnamon Roll: 3/5 This cinnamon roll was HUGE and HEAVY. I must say that it tasted pretty darn good. The frosting wasn't too sweet, the bread was soft and you can tell it proofed perfectly. I also like how the brown sugar was a bit crunchy! The only thing that didn't hit for me was that it didn't taste like ube or smores ones bit. It was purple and beautiful but I didn't get the nutty taste of ube. Then they had a toasted marshmallow on top but I couldn't taste any other marshmallow flavor in the roll. They also had a biscoff cookie instead of a graham cracker which was fine but it was not giving ube, marshmallow or graham cracker. For a normal cinnamon roll it was great though. Crème brûlée donut: 3/5 The crunchy exterior was top tier and done very well. The caramel could have been cooked a little longer to get that amber color along with the warmer taste I was looking for. The bread of of the donut was okay. A little denser than I thought it would be and the cream wasn't sweet enough despite the vanilla beans I saw in there. Strawberry Shortcake Cookie: 2/5 The base cookie is really good. Soft and gigantic, but the elements making it strawberry shortcake were just too sweet for me and the cookie itself was undercooked and the white chocolate was way too sweet. I did like the outside coating of the strawberry shortcake was pretty good! Overall it was a good experience but if it looks sweet just know it really is.

Well, they just happened to be dropping off a few of their popular items at both Naga Tea locations on Valentine's Day. How perfect was that? The Valrico location is practically around the corner from where I live. They couldn't have timed it any better. I was all in. I wanted to try them all. Everything looked absolutely delicious. I ended up getting the ube s'mores cookie and the ube milk bread cinnamon roll. There were instructions on how to warm up the roll. It heated up perfectly in the microwave. The ube milk bread was the star of this cinnamon roll. Actually, I loved every ingredient. The ube cinnamon swirls were gooey & buttery inside. The glaze on top was sweet, but not too overpowering. It was way better than a Cinnabon cinnamon roll. I'd totally it again. The ube s'mores cookie was just as amazing. I had it for breakfast the following day. Don't judge me. LOL! This cookie was topped with a toasted marshmallow. It reminded me of the s'mores brownies from my favorite Ubelicious mail order bakery. I was kicking myself for not getting the London Fog cookie made with Earl Grey tea. I'm hoping there is a next time. I'm also hoping that I can one day try their cube croissants and cruffins. Please continue to deliver pastries to Naga Tea, or to more places across the Bay. What a great partnership that would be! There's nothing better than a freshly pulled espresso boba with one of these delicious croissant creations. It was a great Valentine's Day treat.

What I find fascinating is not only is it a bakery, but also a mini grocery store selling Italian food. It was a bit confusing to order food because there were too cash registers open on opposite ends of the counter so we weren't sure where the line started. We ended up following the crowd and ordered fairly quickly. The pastries we ordered were so good. There was a lot to choose from but we ended up going with the lobster tail and lemon cake. The lobster tail is massive and completely overflowing with custard. By far one of the best pastries I've had. Even though we enjoyed what we ordered, we felt like it was a little expensive. Both items cost about 15 dollars but since it's a tourist spot, I wasn't surprised
