However today we're bought a bag of frozen salmon and when we thawed a few pieces to make for dinner it was spoiled. My wife has saved the receipt and I bagged the spoiled pieces and the remainder of the frozen pieces and brought it back to this location where we purchased it. Unfortunately my wife has thrown the over bag with the barcode on it away and has paid with her card. The cashier was unbelievably rude and advised me of having bought it elsewhere. Then claimed I hadn't bought that fish from them. Then because I didn't have my wife's card with me she also objected but then agreed to give me a store credit but in the meantime a manager has arrived and ultimately approved the refund but told me she didn't believe me. So this was a bad day in terms of Aldi being good to it's customer and I am very unhappy with how I was treated I did get the refund on a store gift card and bought other items so Also ended up with a bigger sale. And I will still shop with then because they are a great store but these team members need some serious coaching on how to resolve customer issues with courtesy and grace.

I usually like going to Aldi for certain snacks and frozen meals and some food staples since the prices are low and they have generic versions of premium brands across different food categories. The surrounding area of the store is in a unsafe area so please be aware and keep in mind the store workers won't help you pick out or find items and many of the times I've stopped by they have been out of stock of my favorites. Checkout lines are long and the employees seem simply miserable but they try to get you in and out. I will say the prices will always have me coming back but the bathrooms desperately need a proper cleaning. Also they need to clean the store more frequently there is always a strange smell in the air and the clientele is a bit scary as well.

My wife and I were here sometime to get some dinner meals for the week as well as our favorite caramelized onion and mushroom pizza! Which tastes absolutely delicious, so if you haven't tried it, make sure you do it because it will knock your socks off unless you're allergic to onions or mushrooms, then don't. This week I got the sushi, which was buy one and get one 50% off because it was on Friday. The crunchy sushi wasn't as appealing as I would have expected normally. Not as good as it is at Publix, I know because it is a different establishment, but that's the best comparison I could put. The workers at that location are friendly, and I love the functionality of being able to use my Amazon account to pay for my groceries without taking out my card.

She sold for 13 years with NO STATE OPERATING LICENSES - each and every registered SUNBIZ business did not have a LICENSE to actually do business over 13 years. How they existed in Whole Foods all this time with NO ONE every checking their Anniversary Date or Proper Certifications is BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION. Supposedly they purchased from a Distributor They also fraudulently had their items labeled with the USDA Organic Label along with other USDA Certifiers names and logos - unbelievable. I don't mind so much that they don't have everything. I want/need, and I still manage to find new things they carry only every once in a while. I enjoy the Aldi knock off brands that are significantly cheaper than the brand names, and it's fun to be able to 'splurge' by letting my kids get the fake doritos or the fake Hawaiian rolls every once in a while. Although I don't always get the 'natural' brand version of things, even the 'non-natural' brand lacks things like corn syrup, which I appreciate. A couple visits ago, I picked up some Aldi specialty pumpkin pasta sauce, and it was divine. Was hoping there would be another bottle, but this time it was Pumpkin Chipotle! Also got some Key Lime hot sauce. And some pumpkin bagels. I am glad I am old enough to not be swayed by anything in the aisles of shame (IYKYK). And I always, always carry at least 1 quarter in my purse at all times now.
