Had the most pleasant experience today at this location's bakery and deli. Unlike the other 2 locations in the vicinity that I went to first , this location had plenty of FRESH bread out on display for purchase and the women in the deli were so helpful, friendly and energetic. Heather and Kayla need to become the new poster children for Publix. With employees like Kayla and Heather , I will switch my store of choice and take my business there. So refreshing. Always stocked, always a fresh cookie for my kid when passing the bakery. One thing I will say which is why it lost the star was because a man came in on a Jewish holiday looking in the bakery section for hamantashen... they didn't have any even though there were Passover signs around. They also had no clue what they were (which I do understand), but they have served them before.. I have seen them...so I was confused why they didnt know or Publix didn't teach them during that holiday that they were advertising about. I went into Publix, Royal Palm Beach and Okeechobee Blvd today 4/30/25. I bought three scratch off tickets. Two of the tickets were winners, although it was just a dollar on both. I went to cash them in at the customer service desk and just asked for them to be checked in case I had missed any bonuses or anything. The cashier run them through the machine and I saw where it came up on the screen "not a winner" for all three tickets. I thought that was odd as I was sure two of them were winners even though it was just a dollar on both. So she gave me the "not a winner" ticket as though they were not winners. I told her they were indeed winners even though it was only a dollar on both. She did not apologise or anything but just carried on as though that was a normal thing to be doing. It made me wonder how many other times I may have won and been given "not a winner" tickets by the Publix staff. Very disappointing and indeed a criminal offence I would add. Publix needs to get their act together because if they are allowing this kind of thing to go down in their stores they may find themselves being sued for hundreds of dollars....... and then the cashier was smirking and acting like it was a joke. I do not find it funny and it just goes to show how low vibrational some people and companies have become. read more

I ordered a very very simple cake. I simply ordered a white cake with black writing. The writing looks like chicken scratch and I was left VERY disappointed. Got some hot chicken wings from the deli, opened them up when I got home and they still had fethers on them.

I'm not a fan of this Publix. I try to avoid this location when I can between the outdatedness of the store interior and the clutter, confusing, and cramped quarters of the store layout. This Publix reminds me of how most of the store locations looked back in the late 80s. While the look may have been fine back in 1987, a lot has changed since then. You can argue based on its location on Okeechobee and Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, you're going to take what you can get, being that the next closest stores are located on Southern and 441. Unless you live in the Acreage, then you could suck it up and drive over to the one on Seminole Pratt Whitney Road and Orange Boulevard. But here's the thing, Publix should know better. While the traffic coming in and out of the parking lot is not the fault of the store, when you walk inside, you should feel a warm welcome where everything is easy to find and reasonably priced. However, like most Publixs, the pricing of most goods in the store has gone up considerably over the past few years to where you might as well go to Whole Foods to buy organic. This store is no exception as it felt like it cost an arm and a leg, along with your first-born son, to buy a dozen eggs, a quart of milk, and a box of spaghetti. The one saving grace was that the deli section had Publix fried chicken. I was at least happy about that. read more

When this store interviews for deli and customer service, the first question must be "are you the slowest person that you know?" If yes- you're hired! Here is a green shirt. All I wanted was a Publix sub. 10 people in line, figure I'll move quick with 3 workers. Nope. 20 minutes, no movement. Ok then I'll order online and pick up from another Publix, nope, 1 hour wait for online sandwich order. Ok, I'll go talk to customer service about another issue. I went to Publix yesterday I saw Roger when I came in he gave me a cart that was so sweet of him. I thanked him and we talked for a minute Roger is so nice and helpful it's always good to see him he always has a smile and always greets me. Siomi walked by and greeted me by name with a big smile, she is so sweet to! I checked out with Mirline, she was nice as always and very cheerful and it was good to see her as well. I rarely ever have anything bad to say about Publix, period... but, I really dread coming into this location. EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this Publix, I completely remember why I drive 15 to 20 minutes out of my way just to avoid this store. The store is clean, but the service is horrible. The bakery department associates are rude and always full of excuses as to why they cannot or did not fulfilled your order or request. The store is almost always out of stock on the one or two items I need. Speaking to any store associate is useless as they never have a straight answer for you or have no clue of what it is they have or not have in stock. Yesterday, I stopped in to get a bottle of bitter orange and the shelf was empty. Moved on to find coconut milk cans, first I couldn't locate them, asked an associate for assistance and he sent me to the wrong isle while another one ignored me. Came in to get 3 items and walked out with just one, only because Winn-Dixie does not carry the last item I needed or else the trip to Publix would have been a complete waste of my time. read more

We were at our RPB Publix today and everything was great with the store but at checkout we were given attitude and don't know if Sonja was having a bad day or not she said everything that she was supposed to but was not the friendly cashiers we are accustomed to. Very disappointed to see this Publix continue to decline in customer service and food quality. We live just behind this store location, so it is very convenient to do our grocery shopping. However, for years... this store has struggled with good service and it has gotten to the point that I will drive out of the way to another store for shopping. For instance, the deli ALWAYS has a huge line with only a couple employees who are doing their very best but cant keep up. We stopped buying subs because everytime we got one ( I have a large family so that's 5 subs) the bread looked like he had been mangled by a pit bull, the meat was just thrown on and you may get 2 jalapenos and 20 onion slices depending on their hand function at that moment. So we just got elsewhere for subs and avoid that department. I only buy my produce from a local competitor because the fruits and veggies more often then not....are rotten. For example, I went to the grocery store today and thought I would grab a bag of apples since I was already there. There Is a sale on "pink lady apples" and bring a mom of 3...I always go for the sale. They only had 3x bags of apples and they were completely rotten...not 1, not 2 but almost the whole bag of each. The tomatoes are soft or have alot of soft spots, the herbs are slimy from being so bad,etc. Now customer service....I could write a paragraph on all of my poor customer service experiences. Today seemed to push my buttons enough to finally write a review. The "customer service" manager "Renee" was bagging my items, I apologized and decided to pass on an item and I got the huffy and puffs and rolling of the eyes as I handed the cashier the item. Then she proceeded so throw my bags of groceries in the cart that it looked like she was trying to kill a bug. Lol. She puts my eggs in with another bag of misc items thrown in a bag over flowing with food items going in every which direction. She puts it in the bottom cart then puts the medium size Gatorade bottles in a bag, right in top of the eggs. She looked at me like I had grown 3 heads from the Covid vaccine. I thought it was common sense to not put eggs on the bottom of the cart and place have items on top. Then she put 4 half gallon ice teas and slams it on my goldfish crackers. No..."hi, how are you" when getting in line, no "have a nice day" when leaving. Their is another lovely young lady name "Sonja" who is by far the rudest employee I have ever encountered there. Again....never an introduction, she throws your food, rooks her eyes, sucks her teeth, has the worst attitude when she communicates with you. She acts as though she's doing me a favor and I'm inconveniencing her. I could go on and on,but I've finally had enough and decided to shop else where. Especially someone who is trying to obtain medicine in order to function and be successful at home and in society. I am a mother and a teacher. I needed 4 medicines. I only got 2. Your pharmacist, at Royal Palm Beach Publix, sent me away. Most likely based on my size and appearance (I am very tiny). The prescription is adderal. Yes, it's a "narcotic" and pharmacist have the power to refuse anyone. However, we're not suppose to leave our homes; don't mingle with the public, keep shopping trips minimal. But, now I am forced to travel around, visiting stores and pharmacies, risking my health and the health of my baby and other children. During a national crisis your pharmacist turned me away because he's "uncomfortable." How awful. read more

This place has a bunch of great people with a great atmosphere. Every time I go in, someone manages to make me laugh and make my day much better when walking in or walking out. I really don't like shopping at Publix because of the high prices. My wife is sick and needed some chicken Noodle soup. Royal Palm Beach Blvd. and Okeechobee is my local store, I go in, but first I have to use a restroom. The restaurant was absolutely disgusting! I headed back for fresh chicken noodle soup. Lifting up the four lids of the soup available only to find three empty and the bottoms scorched It showed me what little the deli cares how fresh their food is. I picked out the few items I needed, cashed out and headed up to the customer service counter for lottery tickets. I was the third person in line. I was very annoyed because John that was working the lotto machine took a fellow employees (Molly also behind the customer service counter) $4 order for tickets and processed them making the customers wait! Very annoying when I order online and when I get there and my order isn't even started on this is the 3rd time it happens I'll order for example to pick up at 11:25 I'll give them extra time and get to the store at 11:30 and my stuff isn't even being looked at . Went online to publix and placed an order yesterday for 2 sandwich platter and pickup time was 5:Pm today , News years eve. Went to pick it up at 5 at the deli. I grabbed a number (98) they were on number 80 which didn't seem to change . Other people were walking up to counter and placing orders so Then I asked a man working there where I was suppose to go for the platter and was told to stand inline. But when the girl behind the counter finally got done with the lady I Asked where can I pick up my platter. It's 530 now waiting in line for half an hour she told me I had to wait for somebody to come help she's busy. I complained to one of the managers and he sent a nice man to go get my platters. I thought when you order something at 5 o'clock you should be able to pick it up instead of standing around for 40 minutes waiting for it . I am very disappointed in Publix. To top it all off they did not put the platters in a box I put it in my car the bottom tray broke I got all over my car seat , very weak platter. read more
