This is a place where you hunt for treasure. I hear people getting great stuff here and unless you have the time to hunt, its not easy to find deals. I do find some of the stuff a bit out dated but again its probably because all the good stuff has been picked through. You just need time here. read more

I'm not a big fan of Winners as I don't like the disorganization and often long line ups but once in a while I find things that I like for a good price, usually in the scrapbooking or food areas. I was shopping for Christmas gifts and bought a pair of athletic pants for my husband for about $20 less than sport apparel shops. After Christmas he tried them on but they were too big. I went back and they didn't have the same pair in a smaller size but I found another pair that I thought he would like. I still had my receipt but it was almost 2 months since I bought them and with a return policy of 10 days I wasn't sure they would allow me. The cashier asked her manager and she said it would be fine. I was happy with the customer service as they went outside of their policy to accommodate. Now the second pair are too small so I'm hoping there won't be a long line up when I go exchange them but at least it's within the 10 days! If you get their loyalty card and register it, I believe the return time is extended to 30 days. Based on this experience I give it 4 stars, however, I would give them 3 stars on the actual store, product, and other experiences I've had. read more

Winners West Edmonton Mall - Lots of great items. Not a cheap place as other locations. Gave only a 3 after phoning in to have an item placed on hold until. I was told "Can't do floor checks to put things on hold. That is just our policy". Even though I stated why I was not able to come yet to pick up the item and know exactly where the item is on the shelf. Even well in the store none of the workers on the floor ask if you need help, almost avoid talking to people. Not very helpful or customer friendly. read more

The store has a great wide variety of selection. I really Enjoy the accessories for there is always something bomb to grab. For shopping for Cloths there is great options for all. I never really shop at Winners because I always think their clothes are used, but I don't think they actually are. They have a lot of racks filled with clothes for you to look though and find something that's totally you. The thing is there's way too much to look though. You could spend hours looking though all clothes they have in the centre of their store and find something or nothing too good. I seem to find only a couple of items that I really like and after spending all that time looking at everything I feel tired. I try to avoid their clothing section and I like to wonder around and look at their other items. They had a large selection of handbags and purses; some of them looked pretty nice. They have a section for shoes but I never really find anything that I like or that is in my price range. Some of their things can be a little pricey; well that's what I think. If you are looking for decorative boxes then I'm sure you could find something at Winners. They have a good selection of large boxes to help you organize any space you want to organize. They also have boxes that look like books to put on your bookshelf and hid personal effects inside of them. I just thought they were cool; some of the were antique looking. Anyways, I seem to like their other sections better then their clothing and shoes sections. They have some really great vases for around the house. I also like some of their bathroom accessories and towels. I would love to redecorate my bathroom now, after seeing all of these great things. If you are looking for some sexy underwear then I'm sure you could find something in their selection. They have sexy underwear for all sizes, so that's nice. They also have some cool luggage sets. Very unique looking ones so you can't really get your luggage mixed up with someone else, unless they also bought theirs from Winners. If you are looking for baby clothes then you could find something here. They have a pretty large section devoted to little babies. If you have lots of time to kill I suggest you walk around Winners and hopefully you'll find something that you like. read more

You can find a lot of great deals here at Winners. You can literally spend hours digging through their selection in search of more good deals. I always though it was a place filled with reject clothing that nobody wanted, but I was pleasantly surprised with what was available. Stock seems to vary between store to store, so sometimes you can find something desirable, other times their things are only okay. What surprised me at Winners were the prices as well. They are far below retail, but it can be easy to continue shopping and racking up your bill total. If you look hard enough, you can find the off Calvin Klein jean here and there. It's always interesting to see what you can find at this store. When you're at Winners, do not expect much in terms of customer service. I hardly saw anyone there, except for at the cash register. Almost makes me wonder if anyone works there at all. I found the selection here good, although I would recommend the Mayfield Common location as it is larger and I find also has a better selection. read more

I love Winners. I always shop at Winners. This is isn't my favorite Winners, but it's still great. If you're going to shop at Winners, you need some time so don't run in here expecting to be in and out in 10 minutes. Everything is segregated into sections so it's fairly easy to find what you need. However, the clothes are in a mishmash of chaos (they aren't in order, sometimes there's only one of a certain piece of clothing, and people move stuff everywhere). The reason that I say this Winners isn't my favorite is because, for some reason, I don't find as many things here. Usually I walk out of a Winners with at least 2 items but this one doesn't seem to have the same selection as some of the other ones. But it's still great for clothes, shoes, accessories, gadgets, and kids' toys! read more

I am a grade A bargain hunter by nature so I love the concept of Winners. The racks are packed with brand name clothes at discount prices. Sure some of the stuff might be "last season" but if your like me and just want clothes you can feel good in that compliment your own personal style fashion magazines be darned then your highly unlikely to notice. Shopping the WEM location can be a bit of a headache though. I have tried to shop here at various times and on various days of the week but it seems the line is always insanely long which has lead me to only make an actual purchase here one time that I can recall. The store also seems to be a bit of a mess each time I have been. I really think they could do with bringing on some new hires here to deal with the high volume of customers. Having messy racks can make a store look junkie. It's also hard to walk around in sometimes and get a good look at everything as the clothing racks are so close together and the store is so busy that you may inadvertently cause a traffic jam of people trying to get past you while you look for your size. If they could clean it up a bit and bring on more people to help deal with the high volume of customers this location attracts I think I would spend alot more money here. Until then I will stick to Winners Mayfield Common. read more

Wow. This was just horrible. My friend and I walk in and she finds a bunch of stuff and we walk over to the line. It's not as short as we want but it's moderate. So we wait...and wait...and wait...after 30 minutes we finally get to the front and my friend pulls out her debit card. However, their machine is broken and it was all for nothing. We go back to put the stuff away as that was my friends only way of payment. Worst of all, they didn't even say sorry, they just moved on and ushered us away. We wasted an hour of time there. My experience was horrible. Other experiences included trying to find a dress for graduation. My mom and I spent an hour there just looking for a dress that wasn't covered in sequins. They were all horrible and nothing was organized. It was impossible to find ANYTHING. They don't organize at all. I DO NOY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

I headed to Winners in search of bargains, and was amazed by the selection here. The clothing prices were very low and there was enough of a selection that I could find items that fit well. In addition to clothes, there were toys, gifts, accessories, jewelry, and housewares. The place was buzzing with shoppers. I've found some great clothing items at Winners for incredibly cheap prices. I found my favorite hoody of all time here (sadly, it recently passed away). This is the place to go if you're bargain hunting. The problem is that you need to spend hours digging through all the racks just to find something you want. Some days you get lucky, some days you don't. This sucks if you have large feet; the odds that they will have something special in your size is quite rare. Rarely do I find a good size 12 pair of shoes since that size is pretty rare. read more

If you love Winners, like I do, then this Winners is the creme de la creme! I like Winners 'cause it looks like your run-of-the-mill department store, but it's filled with great deals on lots of brand name and even designer clothes, if you have the patience to sift through it all - which I do. I always take like 30 things into the change rooms and leave with about two in my bag, but I've gotten some fabulous deals here on shoes, tops, purses, Christmas ornaments, dresses and bathing suits. I'd choose to shop here over Zellers or Sears any day, but I still like The Bay more. read more

My family and I went at Winner's West Edmonton Branch on April 5, 2014 at around 6pm. We always come in your store I can say that we are frequent costumers. And I was so upset that we were not treated nicely on the said mentioned date. First time I encounter a very rude and impolite sales associate and a worst manager. My son was bouncing the ball. Your sales associate approach my son and said "give me the ball" not saying please, he is very impolite, he did not come near my son his gesture is like throw me the ball so my son threw the ball WITHOUT any intention of hurting him it just happened that he did not catch the ball properly. And then he came to my son angry and told him that he hit him and swear. There's no problem with my son apologizing to him but he swears he said the "F" word so my son ask for the manager. The manager came to us accusing us right away that we hit her sales associate that's why I got so upset. She is the manager we are the costumers she should have ask what the problem is and we could have explain it to her but instead she right away take her sales associate side without asking us what really happened. If only the sales associate didn't say the "F" word we would not be upset and we could have apologize IF we hurt the sales associate. We are good people, we don't hurt anybody. I don't get upset easily I have patience but this sales associate and manager of yours are rude. Isn't it that the costumers are always right? The costumers should be treated nicely and with respect. Is it not the duty of the manager is to help the costumer that is why we asked for the managers if we have problem? Well this is not what happened in our case.
