My husband I always enjoy Winston's! The drinks are delicious and the waffles are even better. Especially for a breakfast sandwich. When it's busy it can be hard to find parking but it's across from a plaza so I think yyou can find parking there. It's a little food trailer and you wouldn't even know based on the quality. Im late to the Winston train and I'm mad about it! I'm a belgian waffle girlie and their liege waffles are pretty solid. Ive had the regular liege with pumpkin spice syrup. 4/5. The syrup was spicy unexpectedly, but good. The baron w/ bacon - 4/5 Ive different lattes which are all pretty good. Excellent breakfast sandwiches in a unique setting. We stopped in on a Saturday morning and it as not too busy. I This location is part of the East Market and I think many people don't realize they are open for breakfast. The waffles are amazing with just the right amount of sweetness even without syrup. I had the veggie and egg sandwich - Barron Style. The waffles serve as the bun. The egg was perfectly cooked with sharp white cheddar cheese, green onion, bell peppers and romaine. Super fresh and delicious. I highly recommend. The East Market building is an historic converted trolley barn with excellent seating indoors and outdoors. read more

Their breakfast waffle sandwiches are great when paired with their coffee after a Saturday morning run. We occasionally run from the East market and eat breakfast afterwards. The staff are always very nice and are quick to prepare the food and coffee drinks. Winston's does not have its own seating area but you can go upstairs in the East market and find plenty of seating. read more

I really enjoyed the coffee and the bagels here - it is in the heart of the east market in Columbus so that automatically brings out the overall experience and an interesting vibe in this historic building, which has a nice seating area on the second level and even a patio to overlook that section of the gentrified and upcoming neighborhood . read more

Terrible customer service. We've been customers for two years, every two weeks or so. Placed my order today, drive to Indianola location. They had no order for me. They asked for, and I showed them the order placed by phone. I was told they would have it ready in 15 minutes. Waited in the car, went back to the window. They had not started my order, because they wanted to see my phone showing the order AGAIN. I told them to forget it. We will not return. Whomever was in charge should have completed my order and given me a card for a free waffle just for enduring the electronic and their errors. read more

I'll have to come back and try the regular waffles - the Liège style is VERY dense and chewy, and I should have gotten a regular coffee instead of a fancy one to wash it down. It was well made though, and the toppings were interesting (fresh whipped cream always wins), so it's worth coming back. I also got an oat milk mocha that was very nice, so their coffee selection is promising as well. Service was lovely - everyone was open to chatting and explaining the menu, and I got my food pretty quickly considering there was a line. I don't totally love the East Market ambiance and upstairs seating, but there's plenty of it, and in the summer, being outside is really nice. read more

OK, so savory over sweet for breakfast and (unpopular opinion alert) I DO NOT like bacon. Yeah, I know, I'm going to have to move or something after admitting that last bit. oh, and waffles over pancakes :) But Winston's checked my boxes for brunch. I do happen to be a fan of chicken and waffles and, for an added bonus, they will make you a whole or a half waffle. I chose the Sweet South Hampton, which is stuffed with chicken and cheese and topped with scallions. I very much enjoyed my waffle drizzled with a little syrup or strawberry jam. the ratio of chicken to waffle was right, and it had nicely crisped edges. I have been promised that the leftovers will reheat nicely in my toaster oven! Winston's pairs with Crimson Cup and serves CC's seasonal and regular menu items. I very much appreciated that 1 - you can get a half waffle and 2 - the entire breakfast menu wasn't topped with or served with bacon. Great breakfast spot in East Market! I stopped before work one morning (believe they open at 7:30 am) and got the bacon, egg and cheese Baron waffle and a peppermint mocha with oatmilk. The coffee was PERFECT. Good quality, not overly sweet. My waffle sandwich was pretty good as well. I love that they use sharp cheddar because I hate American "cheese". I did notice chunks of sugar in my waffle which I did not enjoy though. I don't know if they used some kind of candied bacon or what, but could have lived without that. Winston's offers several varieties of waffles, including a common style, a Crown (Liege) style, and a Baron style, and each of the styles has several different options. We were intrigued by the toppings offered for the Crown and decided to try out the Buckeye, which comes topped with drizzles of Nutella and Reese's peanut butter sauce. It was great presentation! It was pretty tasty, but we're especially curious to try the common style in the future and compare to the Liege style, because the texture did seem different. We're not coffee drinkers, but it looked like they offer a nice selection of coffees from what I could tell - a variety of hot, iced, and specialty options. Staff was friendly. I had blueberry waffles that were so fluffy and full of the most delicious blueberries! My son picked crown style waffle with Nutella, banana chips, strawberries and whipped cream...he loved it! I waited the longest for my order and was very nice to the workers, and had to wait after everyones order was done (15-20 minutes), but I watched them make my order and I feel they rushed it and I got the buttermilk waffles that felt undercooked so it was soggy.
