This was my first time here, and I can't believe it took me this long to try it out! I opted to order at the window instead of ordering ahead, which was just fine because it was not that busy since I went so early. The parking lot is huge and easy to get in and out of. Once I ordered my food, it only took about 5 minutes to be ready which was awesome. My sausage sandwich was steaming hot and smelled amazing right away. I love that they really make even the waffles fresh to order. The individual who greeted me at the window was so cheery and nicethat it just made the experience even better. And with the sandwich being only about $8.50 I was not expecting a huge portion but I was wrong! I feel like anything similar at other brunch places is easily double the price. Great value!!

I've been very curious about this place. It used to be a dry cleaner's but the building was torn down leaving this empty lot when one day a coffee and waffle truck appeared. It's been moved to a decent spot to allow for customer parking. There's about a dozen spots. The main order window faces the street. People place their order and move to to the left for their food because there's another window there. It's where food is provided to customers and anyone who has placed an online order just walks up to that window to let them know they've arrived for their order. When it's busy this can get tricky because the only parking spots left are going to be closest to the lot exit and customers waiting on orders are spaced out for physical distancing. I had to ask a group of 4 people to move out of the way after I put my order in my car so I wouldn't hit them backing up. But they were cool with doing that and not getting hit. :) I placed my order online. They don't actually make the food until you arrive so you can have it at the right temperature. I got The Empire (regular size). Regular size = half a waffle. The Empire has the sausage in the batter with a fried egg on top. I wasn't sure what to expect and it tasted good but the sausage flavor got a little bit lost for me. For my drink I got the Pumpkin Spice Latte which is seasonal and I liked it. But I'm also that person who orders "dessert coffee" which has more sugary stuff than coffee in it. It didn't have "dirt" on top which can happen if someone sprinkles pumpkin spice all over the top. This was like drinking liquid pumpkin pie. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more savory waffles and some of the sweet ones. They use different batter recipes which fits the flavor profiles and is a good thing in my book.

Winston's is a walk up food trailer that serves Belgium and Liege waffles plain and gourmet options as well. They also serve various hot and cold beverages that you would normally find in a coffee shop. Parking is conveniently located on their private lot. You can place your order at the window or online. If you order online, be prepared to wait a few minutes because they don't actually cook your waffle until you arrive, guaranteeing a hot and fresh experience. The order on my first visit included the regular Empire, for myself, and a large Northampton for bae. Both waffles were delicious and filling. The batter is really good and the toppings were a perfect proportion. I can't wait to go back!

What a delightful little spot! We were in the neighborhood and wanted a coffee. Hopped onto their website and placed a pickup order of an Americano, a hazelnut cappuccino, and The Empire. The order only took a few minutes and they were super friendly. Felt safe, everyone distanced and wore masks. Nice line was forming, so it must be a good place! The coffees were SO hot we couldn't drink them right away! Great full-bodied coffees - just really hot! The Empire was amazing and at least than $6? Crazy good value too! They start with their house waffles and add Weiland's sausage, an egg (runny yolk - yessss!), Mayo, shredded cheddar. It's so good! Definitely recommend and can't wait to try more waffles!!

An exciting looking good truck on a small lot. Been wanting to try this place out for a while and it really hit the spot. Good selection of coffee beverages and the lavender latte was fantastic. I had the Queen and the Empire. The queen waffle had great flavor and a wonderful crunch. The empire was filling and I would get them both again. Only one picnic table so there isn't much seating but just up the road is a nice park that you could Sit and eat. Place was quite busy but we still got our food fast so don't be concerned if there is a line. It'll be worth the brief wait.

    Southampton (added an egg) (11/28/2020)

Ordered a Southampton the night before, so I could streamline the ordering process and save myself a few minutes of ordering at their trailer. I got the Southampton ($5.75) and added an egg to it (+1.25 extra). The components as a whole was tasty. The dark-meat? chicken was really flavorful, and went well with the waffle carbohydrates. I'm not sure I was shabowed or blown away by any means, but it was most definitely a solid breakfast/brunch/lunch meal. The savory chicken and egg ying-yanged perfectly with the over-easy egg (who doesn't love a runny yolk); added a drizzle of the syrup to each bite, and I was pleasantly content! It would be awesome if Winston's used pure maple syrup as their default, and not an extra up-charge, but the generic brand they did use was good enough to please the tongue. I think in the future I'd get a "large" size of whatever I order, as to get a better well-rounded flavor profile. I do love how Winston's does not cook your order until you have physically arrived at the food truck and checked in; food always tastes better when served hot off the griddle, imo. I'm impressed at the continued appearance of new food trucks/carts/stands popping up all over Columbus, and it keeps the costs down (both for the owners and the public), so it's welcome news to add Winston's to the list.

This place is tucked away on a small lot right off the road so keep your eyes peeled when you check it out! This little food truck definitely did not disappoint! I got the buffalo chicken waffle and cheeseburger waffle! Both were outstanding and quite the twist on a regular waffle. I loved that they had sweet and savory waffle options so you can definitely get waffles for breakfast or lunch!! You can get a half or whole waffle depending on how hungry you are (I recommend whole). It was about $16 for both, but definitely worth it! I would definitely recommend checking out this cute place for a quick brunch!!

    I got the South Hampton.

I was almost pissed off initially when I ordered my food from here. Why did I give it four stars, you ask? Continue to read and see. I came across this spot on Instagram. I saw somewhere had been there, and I figure why not check it out. I mean, I love chicken. I love waffles. So chicken & waffles is a no brainer right? I hopped in my car with my soon to be three-year-old son to grab a bite to eat here. This was a née spot for me, so I was all for this experience. I get to the parking lot area and notice a relatively steady stream of people arriving to place orders. This is always a good sign in my book. There's one person ahead of me when I got into line, which isn't bad. The guy in front of it makes his payment, and it's now my turn. I usually try the simplistic thing on the menu first before trying the more complex dishes. I decided to go with the South Hampton, which the menu informed me was chicken and waffles pretty much with green onions and syrup. I also ordered an iced caramel latte; why warm up when you can stay cold, right? My order is ready, and I take the food to my car. My mouth is watering. I can't wait to dive in. Mind, you haven't even opened the container at this point. I sanitize my hands and rubbed them together and with glee (when is the last time you heard a black guy from Brooklyn use the word glee). When I pulled back the cover, I became a little concerned at first. I saw the waffle but no chicken. I lift up the first waffle, still didn't see any chicken. At this juncture, I placed my hand on the door handle of my Subaru Outback, ready to get out and complain of missing the chicken part of the combination. I began to realize that the waffles had some weight to them. So I bit into one of them and SURPRISE, the chicken is in the waffle. My mind was blown; I wasn't ready for this. The meal was terrific. I loved the consistency of the waffle, and the flavor was great. It had a slight crisp Imes to it and a perfect balance of savory and sweetness. The chicken was moist and full of savoriness. The two together were wonderful. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that I felt the syrup wasn't sweet enough to play off of the chicken and waffles, especially by the time you add the butter to it. The staff was great, and the truck was clean and had all the covid protocol markings to boot.

Great parking!! Staff was very friendly & welcoming! This place was walk up but the parking was big enough to relax in the car and get full. This place gets busy at times so be careful pulling in and out!! Okay now the food whewwwww All of which was delicious, savory and just enough sweet to be satisfied. Just buy the waffle!!! No regrets here! SN: just because you get carryout doesn't mean you have to eat it that way. I plated this at home Also my coffee didnt come like this i out it in the microwave at home and things got hot & wild

Winston me a Waffle anytime. Super friendly staff. This may be a small little site but the Waffles pack a mighty big flavor. The waffle is so good that you may need to eat in your car in the parking lot, maple syrup and real butter. I also had the seasonal Snickerdoodle Latte- nothing better tasting than a hot Snickerdoodle.

Winston's Coffee & Waffles on Indianola Avenue serves up some tasty, hearty waffle-ized foodies. Solid indicator of good food? Opens at 8am and the corner parking area is buzzing with cars and people getting food at 8:10am. I ordered the Southhampton (chicken) waffler- very good combo and filling. I also got a back-up, The Baron sandwich with bacon. One bite then took it home for a cheeky, tasty reheat. Steve E is the proprietor and seems determined to be EXCELLENT in food and service to customers. Always smiling. Yeah, baby! I say hit up Winston's for a top notch start to your day.

I ordered two seafood apps: the seared scallops and the garlic roasted shrimp, and both were excellent. The scallops had a perfect sear on both sides, which was a great start, and the shrimp were seasoned really well. For drinks, we both got the Supremo Peach--so delicious and refreshing. I also tried the espresso martini. It was good, but honestly, I wish I had just stuck with the Supremo Peach because the switch was a bit of a shock to my palate. We spent time chatting and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was quick, and our waiter was very attentive--he even checked back in with us before happy hour ended, which I appreciated. This experience was night and day compared to my last visit, and I'm really glad I gave this place another chance. For me, this might be the perfect happy hour spot. The apps feel more like small plates, which I love for the variety, and a great cocktail like the Supremo Peach definitely seals the deal. Thanks, Forno!

Our server was very personable and we asked him his recommendations. We started with the Mozzarella Sticks to start and I ordered the Chicken Marsala for my main. Both dishes were good. The mozz sticks were served with a great pesto sauce and marinara, though some of the sticks lacked cheesiness. The Chicken Marsala was fantastic! The skin was crispy and the meat succulent and juicy. It was served on a bed of mushroom risotto, which was adequate, but not up to par with the chicken and sauce. The restaurant itself is fairly noisy, so carrying a conversation was tough.

We tried the pork sisig, it was okay. It has this mayo topping and there's an overpowering taste of ginger which is not typical of sisig.
