Corned beef hash breakfast. Corn beef is amazing. Chose tomatoes and arugula salad as a side.

May 31. We returned to That's My Jam for another Sunday post-church visit, eager to see if it would maintain its usual charm. Our selections for the afternoon were the classic Eggs Benedict and the turkey avocado wrap--both arriving at the table beautifully composed and visually striking. Our server was exemplary, providing attentive and seamless service throughout the meal. However, the kitchen stumbled slightly on a fundamental execution. A proper Eggs Benedict relies on a perfectly poached egg, where a gentle slice yields a rich, velvety yolk that cascades over the ham and English muffin. Regrettably, one of my eggs crossed the line into hard-boiled territory, robbing the dish of that essential luxury. That single execution error aside, the meal was otherwise delightful. It was an unfortunate oversight, but certainly not enough to keep us from returning to a neighborhood favorite.

This place is THE spot for brunch. The restaurant itself is beautiful and so fun - but I love the outside playground for the kids. 10/10 recommend the eggs Benedict. Staff was extremely welcoming and service was quick!

I had the pleasure of revisiting That's My Jam today, and wow... this place is quickly becoming everyone's favorite brunch spot. Every time I go, it seems busier than the last visit -- which tells you all you need to know about how good the food is. First things first: they close at 3:00 PM, so this is definitely a morning/brunch kind of place. In other words, don't sleep in too late or you'll miss the jam. Today I ordered the prime rib with two over-easy eggs and hash browns, and let me tell you... the seasoning was absolutely perfect. Not too salty, not too peppery -- just right. Whoever is in the kitchen clearly understands the art of prime rib. They even garnish the plate with a little edible flower, which made me feel slightly fancy for a moment before I dove straight into the food. And the French toast? I'm not exaggerating when I say it may be the best French toast I've had in Texas. I almost ordered another plate just to make sure... purely for research purposes, of course. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff greeted everyone warmly and kept things moving with a smile. Great food, friendly people, and a fun brunch atmosphere. If you haven't tried That's My Jam yet, do yourself a favor and go -- just remember to get there before 3:00... because apparently half the city has already figured this place out.

Such a fun brunch spot. Portions were huge. Service was great. Food was very good.

Food was very good. The crepes with berries looked beautiful. I was offered a bit and indeed it was delicious. I had a typical. The typical breakfast included choice of meats and French Toast. While it was quite good, the crepes were super. The place was nice with plenty of parking. Staff were very attentive. I recommend it.

Updated review in April - ASK FOR JUSTIN and USE YELP's Get In Line feature to avoid the wait! We came back on Easter Sunday and had a completely redemptive experience! Justin was friendly, attentive, and just overall GREAT! The crepes are better than the beignets. The portions are large so we shared a few bc we're traveling & can't take leftovers. Original February experience with JC- We did not enjoy our experience here. The server had an attitude and was not very attentive. We left a 2 star review in February with this experience.

    Lemon blueberry pancakes

Jeff was a great server and character, very attentive and entertaining. We ordered the chilaquiles, smoked salmon Benedict, southern combo, and got lemon pancakes as a side. Not to mention the decor which has many memorable country artists that really pieced together the whole experience and look of the restaurant.

I have long been awaiting the opening of That's My Jam here in Bee Cave. This area desperately needed a delicious, upscale brunch restaurant and now we have it!! The food was incredible, the servers were kind and attentive (and it was only their first day!) and the restaurant is just beautiful. This will be a regular place for me and probably many others here in bee cave and surrounding areas. Update: I've had the pleasure of dining here several times now since my initial visit/review and each visit has somehow been better than the last! I've come for breakfast several times, today I finally tried their lunch menu and it exceeded expectations.

One of the better breakfast spots in the area. They were pretty busy the day I visited but they have full service at the bar and I'm quite comfortable sitting up at a counter to eat. It's in a big shopping area. There is parking but it can be a bit challenging. The interior is very appealing and not too loud. I was greeted right away and for my first visit, I opted to try the Southern Combo; eggs, biscuit and gravy, sausage, bacon and hash browns. I also ordered a side of sourdough toast. I didn't have to wait very long and they certainly get five stars for presentation. I ordered my eggs over easy and they certainly were, but a tad bit undercooked for my preference. The sausage came as patties and really tasted like something store bought. A bit dry and not much flavor to them. The bacon was absolutely delicious and the hashbrowns were good. They said the toast was sourdough, but it tastes just like white toast. It definitely is not sourdough, but it was good bread. It was a good meal and everything tasted fresh and warm. I would like to come back and try some of their other dishes.

From the moment we walked into That's My Jam, we were completely impressed. The environment is gorgeous, warm, and inviting...a perfect balance of style and comfort. The decor is stunning, filled with music themed artwork (including an awesome Willie Nelson piece!) that adds such a cool, creative vibe. The space itself is large with plenty of seating, and we loved that there's even an outdoor play area for children making it such a kid-friendly spot for families. The bar area is beautiful, and the staff looked sharp in their "That's My Jam" shirts. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which really added to the wonderful atmosphere. The menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, including many gluten-free choices, something that's so hard to find at other local restaurants. Our server Sydney was absolutely fantastic, super friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive, especially since we had food allergies to gluten. She made sure everything came out perfectly and with care. We ordered the gluten-free cinnamon roll pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The pancakes were especially impressive and were soft, sweet, and you'd never guess they were gluten-free. And the coffee? Surprisingly excellent! Fresh, rich, and smooth! Overall, That's My Jam hits all the right notes, great food, thoughtful menu, friendly service, and a beautiful, relaxed environment. This has quickly become one of our new favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend!!!!!

We stopped in for Brunch! The service was extremely friendly and I was shocked on how big the place was on the inside. Looks like there is a playground also! The food was very good! I ordered the corned beef hash with hash browns and pancakes. The Hash was not salty which I enjoyed and the hash browns were not greasy. Pancakes were the perfect size. They do offer powdered sugar on the pancakes but we opted to not have that. The hubby ordered a breakfast burrito without eggs and chorizo. He said the burrito had a nice kick to it. We definitely will be returning and I look forward to trying their omelette next.

The chicken is so tender and flavorful. Very fresh salad nice touch by adding fennel and orange segments. Comes with a delicious homemade ranch, but I also tried the lemon aïoli on the side. Upscale beer is available as well as elegant Yuppie beverages. They have very good filtered water served for free in a nice samovar. I recommend the samovar. * * * I am likely to be fussier about Chicknic than are Bee Cave Residents. I would take those enthusiastic Bee Cave Resident reviews seriously. Factors that shape my not-with-the-crowd views on Chicknic. 1) It is actually harder than one thinks to do a roast chicken and chicken tenders restaurant that beats the competition because the competition happens to be very good. 1a) If you want chicken to die for, Your two best options are to go Peruvian or Guatemalan, All of which are available in Greater Austin. Inka, a Peruvian fast food restaurant on Wells Branch in the Pflugerville/North Austin nether land Makes some of the best roast chicken on the planet. Guatemalan chicken - which is done best if fried, can be found at Pollo Campero in Round Rock and the Buda/Kyle nether land. Pollo Campero is another experience not to be missed. 1b) If you limit the competition narrowly to American fast food chains, the chicken category actually has some of the most high integrity fast food chains in the country. Chick-Fil-A sets the standard for putting out good honest food in a fast food format. It doesn't hurt that they are ecologically responsible as well. They play "Southern Fast Food" because that is what they have to do for marketing ... but they are actually working at a higher level. Boston Market is more in the take-home-dinner niche. But they also turn out a high integrity product. 1c) The level of the competition means that Chicknic really has to be very good in order to beat out formidable rivals. 2) Bee Cave is seriously restaurant short. This is particularly the case given the high density of high income residents. So it doesn't take much to be a major contributor to the Bee Cave scene. Lakeway used to be that way - but Lakeway is finally fully restaurant stocked. Austin and Round Rock are rolling in restaurants. So us Yelpers from out of town can afford to be a little fussier than can Bee Cave Residents who for now are over a barrel. (Over time, Bee Cave will fill in appropriately.) * * * So what is my take on Chicknic? Under-salted. There is not enough alternative spice and not enough native flavor to make up for a basic lack of NaCl. Salt at the table would be a huge form of First Aid here. It could be fancy Pink Himalayan Salt from a gourmet store if management needs something more in sync with the ethos of the place. Strangely the sauce I had (the sweet sauce that comes with the tenders) does not provide enough spark to cover for the chicken. And sad to say, the tenders just are not all that interesting as chicken, given the other stupendous chicken dishes that are available elsewhere in town. It could be the roast chicken is better than the tenders. It could be that the alternative vegetable side dishes are stupendous ... Although - the salt question aside - my traditional French Fries weren't too bad. * * * I think management really wants to have a legendary classy place. Certainly, most Bee Cave residents are not going to drive to Wells Branch to get take out chicken to bring home. Locals give this place enthusiastic Yelp Reviews. I see their point. If you live in Bee Cave, believe your neighbors. If you are the type of person who eats all over the place, then you may be more in agreement with fussy old me.

The League Tavern is a gastropub…read more "Gastropub". That word is so 2010's. A decade ago calling yourself a "gastropub" was the coolest thing in the hospitality industry. Now, it is a lost artifact of another decade, along with Swedish House Mafia and Britney Spears. The League calls itself a retro reminder of the eating clubs of the 1920's and 1930's. It is pretty damm good as a gastropub. It would not really want to be an eating club of the Prohibition era. Menus in that era could be pretty awful. Mashed parsnips. Liver and onions. Greens that have been cooked to death. Tough steaks. Low quality lager beer. The Indian Puddings were all right. The fish was great if it was fresh. I wish they would bring back Welsh Rarebit. But the League sticks to a contemporary menu ... And I am glad they do. Their contemporary dishes are just great. I had a faro salad with grilled shrimp on top. The faro salad was everything I would want a grain salad to be. (I have had some awful tabboulehs and quinoa salads in my time.) The shrimp were completely lovely. Prices are high - but that is what comes with being a gastropub. The concept is: Pay more. Eat higher quality. The Lakeway market will certainly support the League in the prices it wants to charge. The selection on the menu - and for that matter the selection at the bar - is fairly restricted. Having a small menu is not a necessary correlate of being a gastropub. Some gastropubs offer you an expansive range of choices. But careful management of the menu choices means that each and every dish can be polished to a high degree of execution finesse. Practice makes perfect. My guess is that the League envisions itself as a neighborhood place - albeit a rich neighborhood place. Their customers are likely to be regulars. The regulars order their favorite dishes over and over. I myself like my bars and grills to be Cheaper, Funkier and With bigger selections on the menu and at the bar itself. So the League is not exactly my style. But what they do, they do well. They are expanding, opening more branches in more locations. They can do this because the League fills a real need in the Lakeway-Bee Cave market. If a Lakeway resident were to invite me to be their guest at the League Tavern, I would be happy to accept that invitation. Especially if they were picking up the check.
