Sadly, today was not just lack of customer service, but when I attempted to ask an employee one simple question, I was ignored and the other employee said "he was busy with corporate!" There was another employee I attempted to ask for help, but he completely ignored me. There was another customer who also was trying to get help, but apparently he too was ignored because he raised his hands in the air and said, "I guess nobody can help!" I ended up picking up my items, and took back what I brought in to repair, and will need to get them done elsewhere, sadly. I realize, you can't get helped right away all of the time, and that is not my complain, but rather those who couldn't at least say "I'm sorry, we Will be with you in a moment " or just acknowledge my existence and not tell me "corporate" is more important!

Your website indicated that the item was available for pickup within 15 minutes at this location. Based on that, I chose to go directly to the store instead of placing an online order. When I asked for assistance, the employees told me they "could not even begin to know where to find it" because the item was buried in the back as a seasonal product. This was already frustrating given that your website clearly showed the item as readily available. I asked if placing an online order for pickup would prompt them to retrieve the item. I was surprised when they told me they would not fulfill it and would simply cancel the order instead. This experience was not only unhelpful but also discouraging. It felt like there was no willingness to assist or find a solution. Additionally, while these gutter clips may be categorized as seasonal, they are commonly used year-round for backyard string light not just for holiday décor. I left the store feeling frustrated and let down. I expected a much higher level of customer service, especially from a brand that emphasizes helpfulness so strongly. At least they had pie.

Although the aisles are nicely labeled, it was hard finding my way around to the sections I needed without asking. Even then, not all employees knew exactly which section had the items and would give a range instead. I recommend monitoring cashier behavior. My cashier gave the impression of lacking respect for customers. She kept talking about food and lunch orders with the coworkers, looking at her nails, ignoring me as I waited at check out. With the recent rains, we've been tracking mud, leaves, etc inside despite taking off our shoes next to the entrance. Home Depot has a good selection of doormats, from fancier ones with patterns and designs to simpler black rubber textured ones. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who was very stressed out after hiring Home Depot…read moreof Glendora to do their shower renovation. She decided to trust Home Depot because they are a big company that would back up any potential mishaps done in the home renovation work. Unfortunately, the opposite was the case. Home Depot hired a subcontractor to do the work, American Home Remodeling out of Corona, CA. Initially they quoted her over $14k to complete this project. The sales person came to her house and quoted that internal plumbing work would be included in the initial price quote. Once they broke through walls they told her another $4,200 would be necessary to add new plumbing since her house is dated. My mother was frustrated with the lack of clarity of the additional $4,200 charge so she expressed her concerns with the company that Home Depot subcontracted to for the repairs. At that point American Home Remodeling decided to smooth things out with my father who had nothing to do with the project. They emailed a new contract for my father to review and e sign even though he was not managing the project. My mother was feeling helpless since the contractors disregarded her when she was the one who hired them. Instead they got my father on the phone and encouraged him to agree to the additional $4,200 cost and work to be done. My father is a 78 year old man who was not aware of the project's scope from the beginning and he was taken advantage of. As their daughter I am disappointed with how this was all handled. My mother never received a detailed itemized project proposal with the costs associated prior to the work being started. When she called the initial sales person back, they ignored her calls and called my father back instead to complete the additional work. My mother feels like she got cheated as they circumvented her on her own project.
