Though we looked for it ourselves, we couldn't find it, so we went to customer service and Samantha was super helpful, checking the store inventory for the item and then heading back herself to find it while we waited at the counter. I didn't take any pictures here. But I have to say that this is the BEST HOME DEPOT I'VE EVER SHOPPED AT. The service was amazing. I scanned the little tag for service and the man was there within 30 seconds! He did not have the key to the wire machine, but went and found someone who could help us and he was there within ONE Minute. There were employees busily working all over the store. The clerk at the self-check actually did my self-check, bagged the stuff, gave me my receipt - it was great. The prices are very reasonable - as they are at the other Home Depots. The store was clean. The restrooms were immaculate. I would make this my regular store - but unfortunately I live 400 miles north in Sacramento. This is my first time going to his Home Depot, I am a frequent shopper at HD. I had to return a couple of items and went straight to the customer service area. I was the next person in line and noticed all the register were occupied with a customer. Eventually, one cleared up but the girl with short red slick black hair kept delaying -- she kept looking back at the line and circled her register as if she didn't want to help me. I was ready, I had my receipt and the 2 items, she finally called for the next person. My return process couldn't have taken more than 2 minutes. As soon as she was completed my transaction, she immediately called for the next person. I continued shopping for the items that I needed, the plant selection was average. Typically I would walk with a plant but I didn't feel enticed but the prices were reasonable. I always park by the garden center so I went to check out at that area. I think like most of these home improvement stores, finding people that are willing to help or direct you to the right place is important. I had to replace a bathroom light bulb that i was not familiar with, I took a picture of the old lightbulb and asked one of the staff there. He was nice enough to walk me to the areas where the lightbulbs are and show me the types that were compatible with what I needed. The place is nicely organized and the shoppers there were also courteous and polite. Would shop here again for any of my home improvement needs. read more

Home Depot is a great place to pick up your home project needs, tools, etc. First, the garden area here is super organized and neat. The overall store interior is well kept as can be. The lower rating goes to the customer service here. Depending on who you speak to, it's hit and miss. Today, I used the self check out but my phone number did match up with my military veteran discount. The female employee who was stationed by the stands was no help. She was actually preoccupied with another employee gossiping. For the next 5 minutes, I loaded the app on my phone, registered and verified veteran status. The same employee had another discussion with another employee about instructions on how to register for the discount but they both sounded clueless. At this point I was already done, and paid with my discount applied. No anger on my part, I just feel that Home Depot always lacks training employees. Not taking anything away from the hard workers who are excellent at their jobs here. My only other thing I want to mention is to be aware of your surroundings at this location (nothing to do with the actual store). When you enter the shopping center from Garey Ave., the parking lot is occupied with transients, a lot of them. I want to give a big thank you to David Louis at Home Depot. He was absolutely amazing today. He helped us with the wood we needed, explained the whole process, and even cut all the pieces for us. He also took the time to explain what materials would work best outside. It was my mom, my sister, and I together asking him tons of questions and he had so much patience with us. 8/2/25 about 4pm. I went to Home Depot to return a coax compression tool that was not that great in order to get another brand to try. I asked for help because I thought they had these tools locked up and a delightful manager, Michelle helped me. Once we got over there, it looked like they did not have any other brands which put me on the spot as I was in the middle of a project , but she won the extra mile and found another tool for me to try. I used to avoid this loc like the plague. Looked Like a 3rd world country outside with homeless walking in between the parked cars. U walk in and it felt like a prison with hardly any staff and when u finally found someone they were disgruntled and seemed like u were bothering them. That has all changed. Now this store will become my go-to location. I'm m a handy man and do a lot of maintenance on the 3 homes we own. Currently we are gutting out main bathroom and remodeling it. My wife told me she went to this location and was treated so well she only wants to shop here for now on. I went with her the other night. I needed some items and she needed to order some specialty items. Everyone from get go was greeting us, smiling, asking g if we needed help. There was plenty of staff and they seemed happy to help and volunteering their assistance. Not Like before where they would Literally walk the other way if they saw u needing help. The floor and window staff helped my wife for almost an hr. It was a fun experience for her and me. I asked a worker why everyone was so nice and helpful all of a sudden. He said they have meetings to remind themselves the customers need to come first. Because of this change, we spent over $5k there that night and will return to spend probably another $15k next week. I really don't like to write bad reviews but trying to get help to purchase two sockets that are locked behind a fence took 20 minutes too long. Asked the a gentleman at the self checkout if he could call someone to help. I know he was busy so I expect a brief wait, that took 10 minutes before he disappeared, so I proceeded to the Pro department and asked a gentleman to help or if he could send someone and that took another 10 minutes before I walked back over to the Pro department and had to interrupt the funny conversation between coworkers and ask the same guy for help. Finally he decided to walk over to the tool fence, unlock it and let me grab the two sockets I needed. This was the only location that had what I needed so didn't have much of a choice. Service was absolutely horrible. There was one guy who helped me load up a table toolchest that I appreciated but EVERYBODY else just stood there and talked to eachother..... I saw four different groups of employees just standing around talking and laughing. Which is FINE but also make sure your job is being done first. After asking not one, not even two, but approached THREE HD garden associates for assistance. No one showed up at the mulch area maybe because it was just that busy with customers buying plants at high noon. I loaded the flat cart twice to complete the purchase and throughout this, not one associate showed. To clarify my sense of expectation, all I wanted was some semblance of assistance; to unload some of the bags of mulch or help load into my car. Not load all or do all the work. But I guess that was not in their job description. Home depot makes me want to become a DIY Renovator every time I visit! This location has a huuuuge parking lot! They have one entrance door and one exit door. Staff wears masks, sanitizer and wipes are supplied, but no one is monitoring who goes in or how many people are inside. I came here for water softener salt bags, 40lb bags, if you bought 6 youd get a bulk discount! I couldn't find them on my own so I looked around to see if I could find a member who wasn't already helping another customer out. I looped around from the gardening section to the lumber section, then back to the gardening section when I found a Home Depot employee who was able to look up what I was searching for, told me the aisle and how to get there! I used self check out & used the hand scanner since I didn't want to move all the bags for the barcode. I went to home Depot thinking they would give me a deal and take care of the flooring needs. To my surprise they just kept jacking the quote up and up. They wasted over 4 weeks of my time. My rental property had to lose 3900 for a month's rent as they just wasted my time. Managers there did not care about getting back to me or even calling. When I asked them today why didn't they get back to me all they said was we did, I checked emails and phone logs. NOTHING! Poor service and poor communication from them. Not how they should be doing business. Empire Carpet had better communication and better prices. Horrible. I came here to buy some dimmer switches, I had checked online and it had said there were 70 in stock. I went to the aisle and bin number and there were no switches left. I looked around and noticed that the next shelf up had several unopened boxes labeled with the exact product I was looking for. When I went to get someone to help the associate looked around, saw that the bin was empty and said that they were all out. I told her that the switches were not out of stock, but some of the boxes simply needed to be unpacked. She again said that they were out of stock and said that a nearby store had "91 in stock" What?! It's not like there were only 1 or 2 left, it was jus a matter of opening a box an restocking that item. The associate was stupid not to mention lazy. read more
